Where can I begin!! Although the hotel was informed of my delayed flight, in which I arrived 12 am, when I arrived at the hotel I was locked out for 20 mins and no one was at the hotel reception. I managed a to find a number to call and awaken the hotel staff from his beauty sleep. After check in, I entered the room to see the most sickening room conditions, washed up and dirty towels, the bathroom was disgusting, the toilet still had remains of who ever had diarrhea prior to my arrival. The curtains has stains, the bed side table had dust, the carpet was disgusting. Mind you it was 1 am at the time so I decided to stay one night (given I had no where else to go) so I got in bed, but as few minutes later I started ITCHING EXTENSIVELY !!! I was trying to ignore the itch just to get some rest, as I look to the side table I see THE BED BUG !!!! I packed my things and had to call the receptionist ( international call) to come to the hotel. As he came into the room I showed him all of the dirty spot ( i was using a passive approach not wanting to escalate the situation). You could not believe his response!!! I asked him for another room, knowing no other hotel would be able to receive me at 2 am, the receptionist refused and said I should leave !!!! And he charged me for the night !!! There’s more to come !! I had to wonder the streets looking for a hotel at 2 AM !!! Two days later I receive a notification stating that the Hôtel La Cour Carrée Bordeaux Centre is trying to charge me again using my credit card details provided prior to my arrival.
