Melsted Badehotel

Stayed in the main building, room without balcony. Light and down to earth colours. Big windows, great view over the backyards and see. No TV and that's positive. 20 meters to the beach. Breakfast was good as was dinner at evening. Highly recommend.

A wonderful oasis on Bornholm. Had a perfect weekend with dips in the sea, delicious breakfasts and a day of biking. Sandhuset was fully stocked with everything for 8 people. Beds were comfortable and robes and beach towels provided. Easy access to Gudhjem via a walk along the shore.

Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Tranquil surroundings. Dinner at the restaurant is a must! Book early as they get booked up quickly.

Wow, we really loved this hotel. First, the location is perfect, right on the beach and so quiet. We stayed in Fyr Annex in a beautiful large room with a terrace facing the sea. Everything in the room was lovely (bathroom is small but with a good shower). The housekeeping service was exceptional, with lots of thoughtful touches every day to ensure we had what we needed. Very good, friendly service throughout the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of cheeses, meats, fruit, yoghourt, juices etc and eggs, bacon or sausages as well each day, served in the beautiful dining room overlooking the sea. The bread was particularly gorgeous. We had dinner in the hotel twice during our five night stay. The food is good but it's a set menu and we would have preferred some a la carte choices as well. It's definitely 'fancy' food, which we didn't want to eat every evening, otherwise we would have been happy to dine in each night. High end alternatives are quite a drive away, although there are some good and homely restaurants in nearby Gudhjem. The only other downside is there are no coffee making facilities in the room, which we would have liked to have. But we had a fabulous time in this beautiful and relaxing hotel and would come again in a heartbeat.

Two days in this beautiful environment. A dreamlike "Badehotel" having a high-quality breakfast. Our room was very nice with a balcony and a seaside view. The restaurant had a menu which tasted very good. We like this place and will probably return.

Even with a work related agenda I felt completely relaxed and full of positive energy. The hotel and the rooms are breathtaking, elegant, sophisticated and simple. No noise or interruptions from tv screens. The location right at the sea is more then beautiful in all kinds of weather. I will recommend everyone to enjoy this amazing hotel :-)
