Hotel 4 bintang Bowness-on-Windermere yang Popular

這家酒店歷史悠久，一戰時還訓練過海軍陸戰隊。位置也很好，坐在餐廳或者户外的廊下可以靜靜欣賞温德米爾湖的陰晴雨不同景緻。酒店有自己的全日餐廳，但是菜單上的食物沒什麼吸引力，如果願意，出了酒店三兩分鐘就有google map上的高分餐廳，在湖區看到的小羊小牛和魚的味道都不錯。酒店花園裡還能看到兔子一家，確實是彼得兔的家鄉。去碼頭也很方便，可以坐渡船也可以自己租電瓶船或者手划船，我們租的電瓶船因為那天比較曬，電瓶船有遮陽篷，42磅一小時。 現在説説這家酒店的服務，前台，行李員和餐廳的女服務員在我們入住的兩天裏都提供了優質的服務，但是對餐廳那兩天當值的男服務員不滿意：客人落座了不提供餐具而是忙着收拾別的桌子，招呼了好幾次點餐視而不見甚至回覆説：我們人手少，我自助拿好了刀叉之後和一位領班模樣的男服務員描述了上述情況後還假惺惺地問我現在還需不需要刀叉，桌子上的餐盤也不能不及時來清理。另外鯡魚做的太鹹了，不主動問詢提供茶或者咖啡，甚至早餐枱上的川寧茶包盒子空了一個早晨直到閉餐都不帶補充的，就別説其他麪包等食物了，在這樣一個享有盛譽的歷史悠久的湖區酒店，這樣的服務是不可接受的。好評是第二天當值的兩位女服務員扭轉了我的感受，熱情麻利，也願意為顧客提供卓越服務。那天正好是歐洲盃決賽，酒店為客人們提供了一起看球的活動室，這點還是接地氣的。

Staff are all very nice, but the whole building really needs maintenance like dinning room's roof leaking, wall paints fainting,ect.. breakfast tables ＆floor are somehow sticky. Hope seeing into renovation. Good luck!!

Been to Lindeth Howe 4 or 5 times now and I make no apologies for writing another review. This place is outstanding in every way from the staff to the food and the bedrooms we cannot fault anything. Yes it isn't the cheapest place around but as the saying goes you get what you pay for and it is worth every penny. Based on Beatrix Potter as she used to own Lindeth, it is quirky without going over the top. Just one fault this time round hence the 4 star instead of 5 star when we arrived back after a walk into Bowness people were sat outside because of the nice weather. When these people went inside they left cups and glasses on the tables. The cups etc were still there the following which isn't a nice sight to look out over first thing in a morning. Might be a trivial thing but let the place down on our visit this time. This won't stop us coming back but these little things need to be addressed to keep the standards up. My wife and I stayed at Burn How for 4 nights. Immediately we found the staff most welcoming and friendly. The pleasant atmosphere was maintained at breakfast throughout our stay. The spacious room- with everything you might need- was part of a block of chalets set romantically amongst some beautiful trees. If we return to Bowness we will look no further than Burn How for accommodation. Glyn Davies

Great find ! Jackie &Steve are the very best of hosts . They go the extra mile to make sure your stay is the best it can be . We had the suite at the top of the house and there are two further rooms to book on the floors below . The owners allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and even offered to carry cases upstairs as it was a couple of flights . Every thing you could need was in the room from ironing board to a corkscrew. Breakfast was great full of goodies . Made for a great start to any day . All the fare you would expect from full English to a veggie option cereal ,orange juice , fruity yogurt and even homemade flapjack to take with you . My birthday fell during our stay and the breakfast table was decorated with a banner and sprinkles and even a candle in my pancake stack and a surprise box of chocolate thank you so much Jackie x Comfy bed made for a great quiet sleep plenty of drawer and hanging space in the room . Definitely recommended .

We have stayed at the cranleigh three times in the past 12 months and can honestly say each stay just gets better and better! Due to unfortunate circumstances we had to change our booking with less than 24 hours notice, luckily the receptionist was amazing and took into account our situation and managed to change our booking for the following day, we were incredibly grateful to her and it made our day just a little bit less stressful. We were more than ready for a break when we arrived but we felt relaxed as soon as we checked into the Passion Suite. Beautiful decor and furnishings, spa bath big enough for two and an outdoor terrace to make the most of the rare sunny day we had while enjoying the complimentary cocktails. In the evening we enjoyed cocktails at the fizzy tarte then headed to BAHA for our evening meal, both establishments are beautiful, have amazing staff and the food at BAHA was delicious! After an amazing sleep in the comfortable bed, we enjoyed our cooked breakfast delivered to our room. Such a treat to be able to enjoy breakfast in private and again it was incredible- great choice of cooked and continental options. We went home feeling pampered and relaxed after a much needed break- but we can't wait to book and visit again!
