Super 8 by Wyndham Branson / Shepherd of the Hills Exwy

The location is good. I am not a fan of staying on the *****, the traffic is to much. Decent place for the price. I would not plan on eating the hot breakfast, it was terrible. Gravy was slightly flavored water. Kids enjoyed the pool, but they had no towels in the tote, even though worker said they were there. I was overall happy with place for the price I paid.

The person checking us in was super helpful and friendly.

Sign outside read "Very Clean" but the rooms were anything but that. Should have gotten pictures. There were what looked like bug feces on the sheets. Blankets were not on the beds and had big stains on them. Shower was absolutely filthy and it was very apparent that they had not been cleaned since the last visitors that stayed in the room bc there was hair all over the walls and bottom of the bathtub. Shower curtain was covered on the bottom with mold. Bottom of the bathtub had grime all in it from a lack of cleaning for a long time. Obviously a family owned establishment and they were very kind and friendly but they just do not know the meaning of clean and that to me is the most important aspect of any motel/hotel stay. Skip this one because there are much cleaner options that are the same price.

We stayed for 5 nights and was very comfortable. The frig does need updating, didn’t work too well, but everything else was perfect. The kindness, friendliness, and helpfullness of staff was above and beyond. We go to Branson every year and stay here. There are ton of choices, but the quality for the price is great. Very accommodating when I had needs due to a broken foot.

The Good: Office staff was super friendly. And offered great instruction on using the key cards, and faucets in the room. The matresses are the most comfortable we have slept on in Branson. The Bad: The advertised "warm breakfast" had pictures of a waffle maker and other items. The warm breakfast was biscuits and watered down gravy, scrambled eggs and over microwaved sausage links. The orange juice was slightly watered down. The Ugly: The dining area had several tables, yet only 6 chairs. With a sign that stated you could not take the food out of the area. Thankfully, there was only 6 of us dining at the time. There was an option of 2 or 3 highchairs had some of us adults were a couple gymnists.

It was clean & cheap for the price. The staffs are friendly & nice. The breakfast was good too.

Fine place to stay, however, I purposefully chose it for the breakfast ADVERTISED!! The reason given for NO breakfast was that it is off season. THEN DON'T ADVERTISE IT!! TAKE IT OFF YOUR SIGN.

The sheets were clean but dingy and thin. The coffee pot or the plug did not work. We had purchased the room for jacuzzi tub but we did not use, we seen hairs and decided that is a no. But for the price the room was clean and the main shower was clean. Flooring was clean. It had a fridge and microwave, and customer service was good. So for the price the quality was good.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms with breakfast included. East entrance and exit to get to places in a Branson, especially using the colored routes.
