highly recommend this hotel, convenient to central train station, walk to main shopping street for 15 mins. the room is very stylish, a bicycle is placed inside the room, maybe u can ride with it. I didn't use it as we drove. the mini bar is free of charge and can refill when necessary. Room cleaning is upon requested. Just a little bit noisy in the morning as it is located near the train station, but I can sleep without problem. There are around 20 carpark spaces in front of the hotel. it's very convenient for driving but space is limited, you can get the parking space for luck. and you can walk for 10 mins for another carpark if necessary. it's my first time in Zurich and I'm glad to stay here.

Hotel Bristol Zurich is in a perfect location, especially for a short layover. You’re within walking distance of all the main sights, the Old Town, restaurants, and the train station, which makes exploring the city very convenient. However, the price does not match the experience. The hotel felt more like a dated motel than a centrally located Zurich property. There were no toiletries provided (unless you pay) the breakfast selection was very minimal, and the overall atmosphere lacked warmth. Unfortunately, the front desk service was not welcoming, which made the stay feel even less pleasant. If location is your top priority, it works. But for the price, I expected much more.

The first day when we arrived on the 13th of August , the guy at the front desk was very friendly and polite.The hotel is located near tram and train station and bus station so it is was very convenient to go anywhere. Tram is 4mins walk away ,10mins walk to supermarket and train station. And 15mins by tram to the Zurich airport . Hotel cleanliness is an issue, very dusty floor,dirty sink,and dirty toilet bowl. I even asked twice the receptionist the guy on duty if they can clean our room and put a fresh towel but no one came to clean.Room service is not 24hrs. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the room down. Nice, charming hotel, but with the Swiss neatness and tidiness. Plus point is the Marshall amp sitting nicely in the room. At first I thought there was a fee of sorts, but no, it was complimentary, and you get to choose a guitar from a selection at the bar/reception! Will definitely be top choice if I return to Zurich.

Only about a 20 min tram ride from Zurich HB. We arrived an hour early and they allowed us to check in early seeing as they just cleaned the room. Business Room was bigger than expected and very modern. Luggage storage after check out was very helpful. Customer service was excellent. Would have liked having a kettle in the room.

We stayed at ibis Zürich City West for one night while visiting Zurich, and it worked well as a straightforward place to stay for a quick stop in the city. We had a triple room, which was a good size and worked well for our needs. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with enough space for luggage and a good night’s sleep after travelling. It wasn’t luxurious, but it had everything you would expect from an Ibis hotel and felt well maintained. In terms of location, the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station, which makes it reasonably convenient if you’re arriving by train. The area felt easy to navigate, and although it’s not right in the historic centre, it’s close enough to reach the main parts of the city without too much difficulty. Our stay was very short — we arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning — so we didn’t get the chance to explore the hotel or use any of the facilities such as the restaurant or breakfast service. For us, the hotel simply served as a comfortable overnight stop. I would recommend ibis Zürich City West if you’re looking for a clean, reliable hotel for a short stay in Zurich. It’s particularly suitable if you just need somewhere practical to sleep before continuing your journey.

absence of hot water in shower...and rooms in east wing are a definite no-go, we should have known. overall - an utterly disappointing experience

Hotel Montana Zürich is located very close to the main train station. It offers clean and comfortable accommodations. Staff were generally friendly. We stayed for 4 nights. The room we were in, faced Konradstraße and it wasn’t noisy even on a Saturday night. The room size was adequate, however, without air-conditioning. Nespresso Coffee was available to use in-room. Fans and a portable heater were available upon request. The pillows were very thin and not supportive if you have neck/back issues. Morning showers could be an issue with hot water running out (if a lot of people are showering at the same time). The breakfast was adequate. We just hoped that guests staying longer than 3 nights would be allowed to check-in around noon especially for flights arriving in the early morning.

The price is good, the room is small but it has a cutr design. It is enough to sleep in. It's enough. You just need to wait for the check in. Don't forget to check in days before, for you to receive the code. The location is also good.
