AAina1008What a wonderful place! Tucked away in the back makes it quiet and serene, while still being at the center of the traditional Wenshu Monastary area. Perfect for all sorts of travelers, i was a solo female and stayed in the dorms with other friendly guests.
Lovely inner courtyard with a cafe for relaxing and drinking tea. The staff are all so friendly and ready to give you all the tips on what to do in Chengdu. They speak perfect English as well! There are a lot of regular visitors, since people keep wanting to come back.
The rooms are cleaned everyday and beds are made, with fresh towels provided. Everyday felt like I had just checked in, brand new.
Breakfast has a range of western (toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal) or chinese (rice, wontons, fried pancakes..) and fresh fruit that changes from day to day. All ranges of coffee and tea as well. It filled me up well to start my day walking around the city!
Definitely recommend to anyone, and I will be staying here next time I visit! Thank you :)

Quiet neighborhood except the guests next to my room decided to talk about their life stories in the outdoor balcony until wee hours which is really inconsiderate. The receptionists and staffs are really friendly and helpful during my stay making this extremely memorable. One time disposable towels and slippers are my favorite amenities in this accommodation!

CCeline928Everything is good for a 5star hotel from staff hospitality to room amenities and equipment . It was excellent .Informed them about my birthday and I do get a nice decoration and complimentary cake from the hotel. However, one shortcoming for me which is extremely important for a 5star hotel is the cleanliness … stayed for 4nights in this hotel last 3nights changed to a city view corner room. Everything is fantastic for the 1st night, however, disappointing after the room changing the cleanliness is not at par for a 5star hotel or by far the worst that I stayed before for a renowned hotel like this which need to be improved. Dusty on every corner and even on the mirror. Make up room everyday is still the same result. Perhaps I would not recommend to anyone untill I see improvement

PPengguna Tanpa NamaHiasannya bagus, kemudahan lengkap, hotel baru bermakna agak bersih, dan lokasinya agak tenang di kawasan perumahan. Pengalaman keseluruhannya bagus. Tetapi ada beberapa perkara yang saya tidak boleh tidak katakan: 1. Pinggan buah-buahan harus sama ada diletakkan sebelum daftar masuk atau dihantar serta-merta selepas daftar masuk. Jika anda mengetuk pintu selepas beberapa ketika dan tiada jawapan, jangan hantarkannya. Agak pelik untuk tetamu meleret kad mereka untuk masuk semasa mereka mandi/tidur.
2. Pada sebelah petang, lantai koridor ditutup dengan cadar (?). Mereka mungkin akan membawa mereka pergi untuk mencuci, tetapi mereka terus meninggalkannya di atas lantai menghalang jalan. Itu bukan tabiat yang baik.
3. Saya tidak tahu sama ada ia masalah dengan saliran atau paras lantai, tetapi air sentiasa mengalir ke arah pintu apabila saya mandi. Saya perlu menyemak ini.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

PPengguna TetamuThe service was exceptional. The girls at the front desk were very helpful with answering our questions and helping us make sure we had a great visit with the Pandas. They also explained exactly where to go for our train departure. We were confused by Chengdudong having 4 plus drop off points. They also gave us extra water and adorable Panda headbands on our departure.
The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything was provided so we had a comfortable stay. They even had memory foam pillows.
They had lots of freshly ground coffee in the morning as well as an excellent buffet Breakfast.
The location was excellent. We walked to the Wenshu Monastery and to Kuanzhai Xiangzi alleys.
We are pleased we choose to stay at this hotel in Chengdu.

YYongChiangFront desk Customer service is fantastic and friendly but the condition of the hotel room seriously needs some upgrading, definitely not 5 star as shown on Trip.com, more like 3 star quality. Requested a smoke free family room but was given a room that smell of smoke, too tired to request a change of room so just bare with it for the night.

QQw7788Very nice hotel to stay for family vacation. 5-8 mins walk to Chun Xi Road. Lots of food option to choose near the hotel. The hotel buffet breakfast is nice with lots of variety to choose from. The hotel laundry service is excellent and all the staffs are very friendly and helpful. There are 5 dryers on top of 5 washing machines which is very convenient. Highly recommended for all travellers whose would like to visit Chengdu! 😊

WWasieThe hotel is a bit far from the station. The checkin was smooth.
The room had toiletries and water, which was replenished daily, during cleaning. It had a fridge and a washing machine with a rail to hang the washing from.
The staff were extremely helpful (the best we had on our entire trip) we booked with breakfast and the food was okay, but again the staff were amazing.
The reception area had a few fridges that sells sodas, juices etc. There were shops and restaurants a 100 to 200 meters in front of the hotel. Just note the hotel is in a courtyard, and you've to walk to the entrance to get your taxi.
Overall highly recommended. Great value for money.
