San Mao and Xiao Yan, a friendly and helpful husband and wife team, owners of the hotel, served as our tour guides. San Mao expertly led us to the most captivating sights, while Xiao Yan provided valuable insights and answered our queries. Their culinary skills shone through as we savored our meals at their restaurant. They also offered wild honey, a delightful treat that her father had discovered in a tree. The hotel’s prime location near the town entrance, ticketing counters, and tour coach embankment made it an ideal choice. The rooms were clean, bright, and spacious, providing a comfortable stay.

We wanted to stay a few more hours because we had a night train and they wanted to charge us for an entire night, the bedsheets and the room were already used and it was nothing for them to charge us half a day, we needed to make a reservation at another hotel. The window is extra small and the best view is from the hallways, don’t know who designed this hotel. It was clean and the bed super comfy, but the system for taking a shower and go to the loo was weird and uncomfortable with not proper ventilation. But, it is perfect for the price

這是一次非常滿意、非常美妙的入住體驗。從到達酒店停車場的那一刻起，就感受到了。保安搶着幫拿行李。進了大堂，前台服務彬彬有禮，熱情有加，免費升級房間，用推車將所有行李送到房間。這樣的服務在整個旅程中還是第一次體驗到。房間超級寬敞，裝潢得很有品味，視野極好。設施一應俱全，且非常高檔。床品舒適，乾淨衞生，盥洗台廁所淋浴房各自獨立，非常好用。環境清靜，睡眠質量很好。若不是趕路，真不願意那麼早退房。退房走到停車場，服務員還追出來送我們東西。 酒店地理位置也相當好，很容易找，停車場很大，非常方便。 超級棒！五星好評！

Three-night family stay in the Deluxe Family Room. The room itself was spacious, mattresses genuinely comfortable, and the shower perfectly adequate — the physical setup was fine for a family with a child. That said, a few things need to be said clearly. We had specifically requested a non-smoking room — it was stated explicitly in our booking. The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke on arrival. We slept with the window open the first night and eventually bought air fresheners from a nearby mall. The hotel's own sign in the room, notably, only prohibited smoking in bed — not in the room — which explains a lot. For a hotel calling itself ”International,” the complete absence of any English-speaking staff was a real problem. Requests went unaddressed not out of unwillingness, but because communication was simply impossible without WeChat translation. Speaking of which — we used WeChat to request an extra towel for our daughter every single day of the three-night stay. The room is booked for three guests, two double beds, yet only two towel sets were left each time. A minor thing, but it repeated daily. Staff did arrange a taxi when asked, which was helpful — though the cab that arrived was old and not well-kept. Breakfast was solid. Not exceptional, but filling and with decent variety. Overall: good bones, real execution gaps. If you're booking here, come prepared with a translation app, bring your own air freshener, and double-check your room before accepting it. Rating 7 out of 10. There is a room for improvement.

酒店位置好，位於城市主幹道，交通便利，停車場超級大，還可以停地下，對於自駕來説，極其方便。酒店前台服務熱情禮貌，還有特色免費茶飲，自取的飲用水。親子房佈置温馨可愛，孩子很喜歡，尤其是有玩具，對孩子的吸引力非常大。酒店衞生乾淨，環境舒適。尤其是晚上有免費粥，小菜，長者非常喜歡，點贊👍。酒店早餐種類豐富，味道好。酒店接送服務也很到位，提前預約後，非常方便，很準時。不足之處：酒店樓前是主幹道，樓後是鐵路，過火車時感覺像打雷一樣，好在晚上火車不多。親子間面積有些小了，感覺比較侷促。稍微再大 10 平米就好了。還有酒店房間贈送的鮮花餅，可以有個塑封包裝，不要敞着就擺桌子上，給人感覺不衞生，不知道生產日期也不敢吃。總之，酒店很棒，以後有機會還會入住。

Absolute gem – we extended our stay! Entering Hanting Hotel Yichuan felt like tea, cake, and a blanket in winter. We loved it so much we stayed longer. Staff: Front desk team (young man + ladies) cater to every need with sweet smiles and genuine care. Young Bao was super helpful. Rooms: Impeccable, bed clean and comfy. Parking: In front and off-site across the street. Slow charging facilities Now for the REAL highlight – 绿园土菜馆 (Lüyuan Tuguan Restaurant): After nearly 250 days of traveling across China, this is one of the best local experiences we've had. It's a humble family-run spot where we met the whole family – including the most adorable little girl who made us feel like we'd always known each other. The food is honest and soul-warming: bold, unfiltered flavors that taste like being invited into someone's home. Every bite lingers. If you want authentic Yichuan local life on a plate, find this place. Highly, highly recommended. The breakfast joint around the corner serves a smooth melt-in -the- mouth savoury silken tofu 豆腐脑 and made to order 油条 绝对宝藏酒店 – 我们续住了！ 走进宜川汉庭酒店，就像在寒冬里捧着一杯热茶、吃着一块最喜欢的蛋糕、盖着一条柔软的毯子。我们太喜欢了，所以续住了。 服务： 前台的小伙子和所有姑娘们，总是带着最甜的微笑、真诚的关心和专业的态度，满足你的一切需求。小鲍也帮了大忙。 房间： 无可挑剔，床品干净舒适。 停车： 酒店门口和马路对面都有车位。 重头戏来了 – 绿园土菜馆： 在中国旅行了近250天，这是我们所经历过最棒的本地体验之一。这是一家朴实的家庭餐馆 – 我们见到了全家人，还有一个特别可爱的小女孩，感觉就像认识了很久一样。菜品实在又暖心：味道浓郁、不花哨，就像被邀请到家里吃饭一样。每一口都让人回味。如果你想在宜川体验最地道的本地生活，一定要找到这家店。强烈、强烈推荐。

We did not use any amenities in the hotel so can't comment. Hotel is not near to anything so have to get a cab. That's OK for us since we wanted the quietness. Room is spacious and very comfy. We were upgraded to a 陶洞 replica room which is nice. Breakfast has good variety and food is good. Was given a free lamb dish so we ate dinner in the hotel. Price on the high side but food was really delicious...totally worth it. Also hired a private driver for two days through hotel's recommendation. It was good. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. The hotel is older and could use a bit of renovation but still a great experience. The view of the river and the mountains is beautiful. The desk staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A great choice in Yan'an.

Very good location, nice fancy hotel. I strongly recommend to book a room on Trip in advance, because the prices are higher, if you book at the reception. Shops and restaurants nearby.
