Hotel Reims dengan Sarapan

Had a change of plans and was not able to make this trip to Reims and therefore wanted to try cancel with Trip.com despite booking a non cancellable reservation. In the end, it was sadly not possible as the parties involved were unwilling to be accommodating so in the end I had to rearrange my schedule to avoid losing USD 200.  The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was friendly and welcoming. He suggested we use the entrance with the ramp to bring up our luggage instead of the more conspicuous swing doors.  The room was on 6F and was ok. For the price I was hoping for more space. There is a weird shelf ledge against the wall where the TV is that was spanning across multiple walls that was annoying and dangerous since it was set at around 1.5 meters high off the ground. I bumped my shoulder a few times so it really is a hazard and should be removed if it isn’t purposeful.  The room is otherwise furnished in a modern and simple way. Wooden floors and plain wall tiles make it look clean and well kept.  The LED lighting strips in the walls and ceiling are distracting and would be better to be removed. It’s hard to watch TV with the glare and reflections off the flatscreen.  Minimal amenities and breakfast not included. Shower pressure was not strong and so I took longer than usual. All in all, I would imagine this to be 20-30% cheaper for what was on offer in terms of experience and furnishings.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

Hotel is located about 10 min away from Cathedral near highway off-ramp. Check-in was efficient and welcoming. They offered a complementary coupon for a champagne on-site with some munchies in the lobby. The room was good size Europe. But I would consider this as a 3-3.5 star vs 4 star hotel as the finishing was just a bit tacky with purple themes, wine, grapes, etc ... I would have preferred a gym on-site. The breakfast was bountiful and a great selection. I would stay in this hotel again for the price.

Fantastic location right next to the cathedral !  Easy to get around the city center and many restaurants options near by.  The rooms are a bit old but considering the location it may be the best option in the area.  Highly recommended !

персонал стал сразу решать проблему с нашими российскими переводами, не стал нас особо напрягать по этому поводу, мало того, нам бесплатно дали второй номер (аппартаменты), потому что, когда увидели рост нашего ребенка, сказали, что на софе (диване) ему будет не удобно, по росту он впритык помещался…, короче, мы в шоке! Приятном шоке!) апартаменты огромные, отлично укомплектованы, очень просторная ванна-душ, супер чисто! До центра- мах минут 15 пешком, лучше пройтись , чем в шумном, проблемном центре снимать жильё (в историческом центре проблемы: вода, канализация, грохот). В общем, этот отель рекомендую!

Отличный отель, удобное расположение и чистые номера. Иногда слышно соседей за стенкой, но тут как повезёт с соседями. Единственный вопрос к подушкам, очень странные, больше похожи на 2 блина.

The hotel is perfectly located, near to the Train station and all main attractions. The building itself is old and chic, very beautiful. We had a room with windows to the street, so it was a bit loud since the street is busy. Anyway, our stay was great. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. We payed for 2 breakfast at hotel, there were enough food, coffee is a bit odd, but other options are great. Orange juice is freshly made. We recommend hotel, thank you!

Check-in at Hôtel des Arcades was easy, and the staff were helpful, friendly and very welcoming, which made a good first impression. The room itself was fine, although it was warm. However, the bathroom was disappointing. Taking a shower felt a little like being in a caravan, with the curtain touching the toilet, and once the shower had been used the toilet area was wet. The door also did not close properly. Overall, the hotel could definitely do with some TLC. Given its location in such a great city, a few thoughtful touches, such as photographs or local artwork on the walls, would really help give the place more character and make it feel more connected to its surroundings.

Good for a sleep and a shower, but I'd be sad to have to stay more than one night. It's one up from a tent. Double bed room is a bed above another bed on mezzanine floor with a steep ladder to practice mountain climbing. Sound is a problem here as it migrates from next door and outside. Bring ear plugs

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut in der Altstadt und ist leicht zu finden . Das Spa gehört scheinbar nicht zum Hotel ist aber im selben Haus gelegen und 14:00 Uhr so dass wir es nicht benutzen konnten. Empfang so freundlich professionell schnell. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt weil man sofort um die Ecke französischen im Straßencafe frühstücken kann. Es gibt ein Parkplatz für uns leider nicht nutzbar weil wir ankamen. Aber die Hotelrezeption hat uns möglich gemacht einen anderen zu finden. Insgesamt haben wir sehr gut geschlafen die Klimaanlage war auch gut eingestellt.
