Great solid property and performance all round.. what a great short stay we had.. from the elegant lobby and lounge area through to the beautiful spacious room with lovely views over Surabaya. Exceptionally clean with every quality amenity on offer in room and within hotel confines. The room was peacefully quiet, with a soft comforting bed. Pool and recreational area was set amongst manicured palm trees and gorgeous gardens. The pool was one of the best balanced PH levels I’ve ever swam in. Nice comfortable lounges and ample seating around with some seats submerged along in pool. The refined service level at this hotel is a solid 10/10 from reception/concierge/ room attendants and especially in Pavilion Restaurant. The quality, presentation and variety of food is outstanding at breakfast. Thank you graciously for making our special occasion so welcoming with the beautifully adorable presentation on the bed, lovely celebration cake offered along with the very personal attention from the Sous Chef and charming restaurant staff at Pavilion. Special shoutout to Restaurant ambassador Wachid whom personally escorted our plated celebratory cake to our room. Reception and concierge service was also exceptional, graciously assisting us with our missing luggage wheel dilemma. JW Marriott and all involved.. till we meet again.. Terih Makasih 🙏🏻

Room Change at Midnight, Poor Sleep I had to switch rooms at midnight because the air conditioning couldn't cool below 20°C. The technician couldn’t fix it and advised me to call the duty manager. I had an early flight and needed rest, but the room change took time, and I was disturbed again by a late-night call offering a towel. I finally slept around 12:30 AM and had to wake up at 5:15 AM. On the bright side, the porter kindly gave me a breakfast bag before my early checkout. Still, I’m reconsidering staying here again—might opt for a 4-star hotel with better comfort next time.

Complimentary hotel breakfast spread was good, and the waitresses Evelyn and Lena were very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The hotel room lighting was a bit dim . it would be better if it were brighter. Overall, it was a good stay, and the location next to the shopping mall was very convenient. Suggest to have complimentary mineral water bottle than glass bottle in room.

Amaris hotel sih ga perlu di ragukan lagi yaa .. meskipun termsk hotel budget tapi kebersihan, keempukan kasur, pelayanan staff dan resepsionis, lokasi, parkir, you name it … semua ok bgt … ibu saya, bude saya smua suka … kamar bersih, kamar mandi bersih … ga nyesel pilih amaris di Surabaya.. bahkan sarapannya pun cukup variatif dan rasanya enak. Saya menginap 2 malam di hotel ini. Good job Amaris, keep up the goodwork

Exceeded expectations! For such an affordable price, I felt like I received 5-star service. Breakfast was included and quite satisfying, and the welcome drink was really refreshing after a long trip. I dropped my luggage before check-in, and it was super convenient, I even got early check-in, which allowed me to explore the city right away and save both time and money. After check-out, I also left my luggage at the hotel and enjoyed a nearby café before my departure. So helpful! The facilities were excellent: power outlets conveniently placed for charging, fresh towels and linens replaced daily, complimentary bottled water, and reliable hot water for showers. There’s also a dispenser for hot and cold water refills. The view from my room was a bonus, I could see Tunjungan Plaza right from the window. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Surabaya. Absolutely loved my stay at Amaris Hotel Embong Malang Surabaya. Definitely staying here again!

Untuk kamar aslinya bagus bersih, interior bagus, toiletries juga lengkap, dapet slipper juga, hanya saja waktu dateng lagi tahap renov, jadi banyak debu, ruangan nya kurang kedap suara juga, jadi suara dr luar kamar masih kedengeran kenceng banget, pintunya juga g double key, jd cuma kunci ganggang pintu aja, g ada tambahan slot, utk keperluan pengunjung hotel di kamar sangat lengkap banget utk hotel di tengah kota dengan budget minim, recom banget sih ini hotel, parkiran juga luas, pelayanan oke, harga cocok di kantong, di tengah kota, hanya salah datang pas renov aja, semoga kebersihan hotelnya setelah renov semakin bagus, biar tambah banyak pengunjung, sukses selalu Best Hotel..

The location very convenient near to jalan tunjungan and tunjungan plaza. Hotel lama dengan lif lama katil lama dan segala-galanya namun mereka masih berjaya membuat ia berfungsi dan bersih.
