Nearby attractions such as the Piazza Del Campo and the green-and-white-striped Duomo are within a 10 minute walk, while the Basilica of San Domenico and Stadio Artemio Franchi are a bus or short car ride away. There is also a bus station outside for trips to Florence train station. Each of our 129 soundproof rooms feature satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and minibars. They are all tastefully decorated and feature carpet or parquet flooring. For those requiring more space, upgraded rooms have connecting rooms, extra beds, and balconies or terraces, and rooms on the higher floors offer fantastic views. Other amenities include a gym and a daily breakfast buffet. Made-to-order hot dishes are available upon request. For those who want to dine in, Al Rastrello is our resident hotel restaurant. Italian and local cuisine are served daily during dinner hours. For cocktail hour, the NH Siena Bar is located right next to the restaurant and has pizza, soups, and salads available to order. It was a wonderful stay. Pros: * The rooms are very spacious and have beautiful views * Breakfast was good, plenty of options but till 10am on weekdays. And they really start taking away all the food at 10am. * Right in the center of the city, you can walk anywhere * They keep your suitcases after checkout. I asked them if I can come back for them later that day, and they were nice and kept them. Cons *No coffee machine in room. They do have a fridge though. *No iron in room but they do have an ironing room *No parking, but down the street there is free parking, a 8 min walk. I easily found a parking at 10.30pm

酒店就在錫耶納老城裡，如果開車進來的話會進入ztl禁行區，如果停在酒店停車場可以簇擁擔心ztl罰金，不想停酒店停車場的話，和前台説一下，開進ztl半個小時內再開出去也沒事。設施：雖然酒店比較老，但整體設施還比較方便。也挺乾淨

Lovely modern hotel on the outskirts of Sienna . The restaurant and food service were good and the whole place was clean and fresh .Local buses stop right outside the hotel too .Ample parking too .Many thanks to all the hard working staff who made our three night stay a pleasure .

II Chiostro Del Carmine provided us with a spacious and comfortable room (and bathroom). Everything was clean and the building, although it had lots of stairs, was interesting. Breakfast was Ok. The big plus was that the main sights of Siena were only a 5/10 minutes walk away. Parking is available however the parking area is small and compact and the hedge we were parked next to scratched our hire car as we tried to leave. Overall the hotel is a good option for exploring Siena.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located a little over a mile from the Piazza del Campo - it's an easy walk there, a straight line up the road. And you'll pass tons of restaurants and shops on the way. I think this part of town is a little less touristy - it seems like most of the people in the restaurants were locals. In any case, if you don't mind a little walking, this is a great and relatively inexpensive option.

As seasoned travelers thru Italy, we have stayed in different hotels. This small, renovated hotel was a pleasant surprise. Located at the edge of Siena within 7 minutes drive to Historical Siena, and easy access to highways to drive thru Tuscan towns, this was perfect. Hotel has exceptional staff who are are kind, polite and do everything to keep the guests feel at home.. Cleaness of this hotel was simply beyond and above our expectations. Breakfast was really good with fresh pastries, Pecorino cheese, Prouscheto, eggs, and fresh fruits. Planty of parking was available to hotel guests. We also want to praise a lady ( Comasia)at the front desk who sometimes would come and checked the things in breakfast room as well. Her attitude towards guests ,her mannerism and kindness was exceptional. We had a very enjoyable and positive experience.

We had a great stay at the Villa Del Sole Siena. The hotel is gorgeous and feels very serene. Our room was a superior room it was lovely and so light and airy with a great view of Siena from the window. The hotels terrace has a fantastic view over looking both the Tuscany hills and Siena which we took full advantage of! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I would call it laidback Tuscan luxury with impeccable service and food. The property is beautiful, and as another reviewer mentioned I loved how you were moved around the property for meals. You can effectively eat all day long with breakfast, lunch, snack/aperitif time and dinner. The staff works tirelessly. You see them first thing in the morning and again late at nights. The furnishings are not luxurious but rooms are spacious, closet space and bathrooms updated and vast and beds are comfortable. They have a shuttle that will take you into Sienna which is a huge perk if you don’t have a car like us. We came a day early, Michele arranged transport from Florence and were able to experience the Palio that night as it was rescheduled. It was magic! Michele was also a God send. I had a tooth get infected which was painful and scary and the hotel had a doctor there in two hours on a Saturday morning and I had my antibiotics that afternoon. Amazing!!! I also have to say the food was unbelievable. My daughter loved the Pici. They were super accommodating at dinner and would make her a plate (or really whatever she wanted). My husband is a vegetarian and again so accommodating…even the amuse bouche they provide was vegetarian. I would come back and stay a week, use this as home base in Tuscany and enjoy the relaxing countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. We brought home some of their scivolosa olive oil to remember our stay in Tuscany here in California. Grazie Mille Certosa si Maggiano!!!!

PPengguna TetamuEl mejor sitio donde me he alojado. Un sueño. Desde su gran portal de entrada en una de las calles que lleva directo al Palio, hasta el detalle mas mínimo, todo un encanto. La vista de la ventana como en una película de La Toscana. El mobiliario y todos sus ornamentos, un lujo. El desayuno en un lugar especial de la casa, preparado en el momento. No hay oalabras para describirlo, tienen que hosped**** allí.

Loved our stay here. A special thank-you to Sonia and Daniela for making it great! We loved the room (Le Grottesche) with its loft and tall frescoed ceilings. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was very functional. Breakfast offered good choices (except cappuccino, which was a bit watery) and was served in a beautiful drawing room. During our stay I enjoyed learning about the history of the building and of the Borghesi family, which left Siena for Rome long ago but had many prominent members, including a pope and a nobleman who became Napoleon’s brother-in-law. In a church in a different part of town I happened to notice their coat of arms on some supports, which was pretty cool. Keep in mind that although the units have air conditioning, it must be enabled by management, and we were not able to use it in October although the weather was warm and rainy. My spouse had a bit of trouble sleeping at night due to this.

PPengguna TetamuWe spent four nights in Palazzo del Magnifico and were delighted with our choice of B&B. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. This husband and wife team do everything they can to make your stay in Siena wonderful. Our room looked out at the rear of the Cathedral onto a piazza, which is a stunning sight. Fresh towels, ultra clean room and bathroom, with a piping hot shower. We were even able to borrow an iron to press my shirt for a wedding. Filippo set out the buffet breakfast, a table laden with a wide choice of goodies: juices, croissants, cakes, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit, conserves, cereal, ham, cheese. Plus he brought tea or coffee to our table with refills as required. Those breakfasts were fuel for our days in Siena. The Palazzo has lots of history (see their website), and we found it nicely located with just a short walk to Il Campo ( where the Palio takes place). A small supermarket is just three minutes away. Our host were great. Filippo even booked us a taxi to take us to the train station on our last day. I recommend Palazzo del Magnifico unreservedly. I shall stay there again if I return to Siena.

LLordRazorFantastic stay in Hotel Athena in Siena! They are one of the few hotels that offer free parking within the city walls and outside of the ZTL zone. About 10 mins walk into main town. Definitely took away the headache of the need to look for parking. Also a great base to explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Their included buffet breakfast offers a comprehensive spread, tho we wishes that they would change the spread daily! But that's a small issue. They also have a terrace on the 7th floor that looks out to the Tuscan countryside. Wonderful views - check out the attached photo! Overall we definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to stay here again if we visit again!

PPengguna TetamuMy many week stay at this property was delightful in every way. As part of a group studying Italian at Unistrasi, I and others were housed here. The biggest drawback is the distance from Siena proper, and in this instance from school as well as the happenings of the Palio, a huge draw for some members of our group. It meant taking buses which most became familiar with and used with ease. The facilities of the complex were for me, perfect. The folks at reception were always eager to assist. The unit I had was bright, comfortable and clean. With an induction stovetop, and plenty of kitchenware, plus a small but adequate refrigerator. As well there was a washer and dryer in the lower floor for use with a small fee. My unit was in the back, which I recommend due to possible road noise in the front. A couple of farmers markets are held several times a week in the block, and across the street is a full service super market. Life was very comfortable at the Aparthotel Anghel and I recommend it!

PPengguna Tetamuho soggiornato presso questa struttura durante un tour che avev organizzato in toscana, la struttura è situata in una zona piuttosto comoda per poter accedere alla città e nella via esistono molti parcheggi per cui, nonostante la struttura non sia dotata di un parcheggio privato, non abbiamo mai avuto problemi a parcheggiare vicino entrando ci si trova in un locale che viene adibito alla colazione, molto ampio e luminoso la camera è grande, dotata di un armadio capiente, due comodini, letto matrimoniale e scrivania il bagno è spazioso, la doccia molto grande e comoda c'erano sia teli per la doccia che asciugamani . tutto molto pulito devo dire che tutto era pulitissimo e il personale molto gentile non so come sia la colazione in quanto noi andava a farla alla pasticceria Corsini (vincitrice di cake star 2022) che è a 10 minuti dal B & B nonostante tutte le camere fossero occupate non abbiamo avuto problemi di rumore ci sono due punti negativi per me uno è il fatto che non c'è un piccolo frigobar (vuoto) nella stanza, avendo bisogno di un frigorifero per dei medicinali che prendo ho dovuto utilizzare la mia borsafrigo che tengo in auto altro punto negativo che non c'è la possibilità di poter prendere un caffè o una bottietta di acqua durante la giornata/sera ... sarebbe ottimo un distributore sicuramente è una struttura molto buona per chi vuole soggiornare a Siena, fuori dal centro molto caotico di turisti, ma raggiungibile in 10 minuti a piedi sia attraverso porta dell'Ovile che con la scala mobile del parcheggio San Francesco

Prenotato per una afosa serata d'agosto. Struttura facile da trovare raggiungibile solo con passaggio attraverso ztl. Quindi necessita registrazione attraverso il sito del comune. Parcheggio facile da trovare di fronte alla struttura. Scale per raggiungere gli appartamenti, camera senza aria condizionata e con un solo piccolo ventilatore. Niente zanzariera alla finestra dove troviamo un formicaio. Ci indicano una zona dove fumare. Pur non essendo fumatori, facciamo un giro e vediamo che la struttura ha un giardino bellissimo, ma non curato da anni. Per il resto fortunatamente la stanza è rinnovata da poco, tutto nuovo, non soffriamo troppo il caldo, il frigobar è ok, il wi fi funziona, il bagno è piccolo ma funzionale. Prezzo non alto vista la zona. Con un pò più di cura ai dettagli sarebbe una soluzione imperdibile per chi va a Siena.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaLa camera era piccola, pulita ed essenziale. Molto gentile il ragazzo alla reception e soprattutto abbiamo gradito molto la possibilità di lasciare i nostri bagagli dopo il check out e riposare in una bella e silenziosa sala d'attesa. Ottimo soggiorno!

Nice hotel within 15 minutes of the station and of the town centre. It is up a hill from the station and the hill continues into town. Because of this there are lovely views from the hotel. After our original booking we decided to upgrade to a room with a terrace which had beautiful views over the town. The hotel also has a really pretty garden - on the upper level you can have your breakfast rather than eating inside. On the lower level there are comfy seats. Our room was fairly basic but very clean and the air conditioning was brilliant. Breakfast was continental with a mix of ham, eggs, cheese, cakes, pastries, fruit, cereals, bread, jams and honey. A great choice. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and let us leave our bags after checking out while we went out for a few hours before catching our train. Also a couple of nice bars and restaurants very close by if you don’t want to walk into town.

We’ve stayed here many times but the previous time was six years ago so I was impressed at being remembered. The positives are great: central location, very clean rooms which are spare and elegant , friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast is better than it was but a little spartan. Put a refrigerator in the rooms and it would be better than some 3 stars we’ve been in. We will be back!
