The location is far away from the lake ( fireworks) main area. You need your own car for accessibility. Parking is free on site. Smaller establishment as compared to the main hotel accomodation in the main area where main shops/ bakery/ restaurants are located. Amenities given are ample and neatly arranged in the wooden box. Onsen room is useful and good for private moments. Water pressure in the bathroom is great Dressing area with table and drawer is in an ideal layout. Aircon unit is good and working. Bedding and pillows need improvement. Ventilation in the toilet bowl area need to have better airflow so the humid and smell will remain in that little section. Breakfast staff need to be more attentive before serving breakfast set to guests as they missed out one sashimi dish and had to be alerted when we cross checked with each other. Staff had to give a puzzled expression and it was totally unnecessary as the rest of us took the Japanese set as well and we can see what is missing if it's missing. They replaced the missing item after deliberating with their kitchen or back end. And with the new accommodation fees and taxes or onsen fees implemented on non-resident of Japan. We feel that it should be informed during check in time. And not during check out time and spring us with surprise as we have a schedule to work on and we are in a hurry. It felt very unpleasant and due to limited language efficiency had to even check with another friend who is a Japanese . And has to be clarified why there are three charges . This causes unnecessary stress, inconvenience and unpleasantness for visitors who expect a certain standard based on the reviews posted by other users. Unfortunately, the situations in the restaurant, check out and experience on the final day ruined the stay.

This stay was a mix of highlights and disappointments. The hotel’s location is undeniably prime, with excellent transportation and convenience all around. The dining options were equally impressive—both the buffet breakfast and dinner offered a fantastic selection of delicious, high-quality dishes, making the culinary experience the stand-out feature of our stay. However, the room facilities and housekeeping details fell far short of expectations. The room amenities felt quite basic and lacked proper pre-arrival checks. For a hotel with hot spring facilities, it was surprising that no basket was provided to carry items to the bath, and there was a clear shortage of towels in the room. Considering the high price tag, the overall experience did not feel proportional to what we paid. While the location and food were outstanding, the hotel needs to improve its room standard and service details to truly justify its rates.

The hotel is located at the top of a hill, offering a very beautiful view. The surrounding scenery is definitely one of its highlights. The onsen area and its view, however, were not as impressive as expected. If you plan to dine outside the hotel, do note that you’ll need to drive down the hill, which takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the nearest restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at your property in Niseko. Everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We especially appreciated the thoughtful complimentary snacks and refreshments that were prepared for us. It was such a lovely touch and made us feel truly welcomed. Thank you for the excellent hospitality. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future.

Overall a Great Stay, Though Service Left Room for Improvement. We recently completed a 3-day, 2-night stay at this hotel, booking a package that included both breakfast and dinner—which I highly recommend. While many local guests opt for day trips or single-night stays, staying two nights allowed us to fully enjoy the experience. Property & Amenities: The property is a traditional, slightly dated onsen hotel in terms of room amenities, but the public areas are well-maintained and clean. The location is also extremely convenient. Service Experience: Most of the staff—including the male receptionists, buffet team, and bar staff—were wonderfully welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, our interaction with one front desk staff member, Ms. Morikawa, was disappointing. Although she understands English, her attitude towards us was noticeably cold and distant. Having traveled extensively throughout Japan and internationally, the contrast in hospitality was clear, particularly when we observed her interacting warmly with Japanese guests right after being dismissive with us. We felt compelled to bring this matter to the attention of the Front Desk Manager. While we rarely feel the need to raise service concerns in Japan, we felt it was important to share our experience regarding being treated differently as foreign guests. Aside from this incident, we enjoyed our time and appreciated the efforts of the rest of the team.

Trip.com has always been my go to for travel bookings. Similarly this time to Niseko, decided to extend for an additional week and MyEcolodge came up in the search. I have to mention the checkin was seamless, but what I thought i booked, vastly differ from what was allocated for me. I thought what i booked was a room to myself however it turns out as a shared room. Its not a big deal but the feeling of misinterpretation leaves an awful taste. (Trip.com CS stepped in and helped to clarify things but theres nothing that could be done. peak season, and everywhere else is fully booked or without paying a premium) That said, the stay was good. MyEcolodge sits in a very convenient location just couple stops from Hirafu. Theres various buses including free shutters so thats really an ease off the mind) 7eleven, a small cafe, hotpot/shabushabu restaurant just sits across from you. The hostel also has their own cafeteria though ive never eaten there (food looks good though). They have a huge storage room for your gears, pretty safe so no worries. pantry, laundry room, washroom are pretty spacious and kept tidy. The room itself is fine, nothing to wow about. nothing to complain either. Towels are free and clean. Everything else you need to pay. Overall good stay. Pray hard you get nice room mates if youre sharing!

We had a great stay in Toya! The hotel is conveniently located near both the bus station and the train station, which made traveling very easy. The location is definitely one of its best features. The staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Just a heads up — there is no private bath in the room, so be prepared to use the public bath/onsen. But honestly, the onsen was very good and relaxing, so it was a great experience. Getting a taxi early in the morning (before 7 AM) can be quite difficult in Toya, so it’s better to arrange your taxi the night before. A taxi from the station to the hotel costs around 2,000–3,000 yen. Overall, a comfortable, relaxing, and convenient place to stay!

Penginapan singkat satu malam saya di Kohan Tei meninggalkan saya perasaan yang bercampur-baur. Suasana usang ini telah menjejaskan pengalaman, menjadikan pemandangan tasik yang menakjubkan sebagai satu-satunya tarikan sebenar—dan itu pun bergantung pada cuaca yang baik, menjadikannya agak sesuai atau tidak. Malangnya, onsen itu mengecewakan. Kemudahannya sendiri kecil, dan saya mendapati ia menyusahkan kerana mereka tidak menyediakan tuala, yang memerlukan perjalanan pulang ke bilik. Walau bagaimanapun, masalah terbesar ialah tab mandi luar: airnya tidak cukup panas untuk benar-benar berehat di udara musim sejuk yang sejuk. Dari segi positifnya, saya dapat melihat mengapa bufet makan menjadi tarikan utama. Review: 5-Night Stay at One Niseko Hotel, Japan We recently stayed five nights at One Niseko and overall enjoyed our stay, but there are some important things future guests — especially skiers — should know. The rooms were spacious, generally clean, and had very comfortable beds and linens. A few small maintenance issues could use attention, but nothing that seriously affected our stay. Breakfast was decent but fairly repetitive, with mostly the same offerings each day aside from a few rotating dishes. Transportation logistics are probably the biggest consideration. The hotel only offers one daily pickup from the Grand Hirafu bus terminal, and it requires advance reservation. The hotel shuttle itself runs only to Annupuri and Moiwa and does so infrequently, often not aligning well with lift closing times. If the upper mountain lifts close early 3:30pm if they open at all  and may unexpectedly close due to wind or snow.Yyou can easily end up far from the hotel in this situation. Without the shuttle, taxis are limited and cost around $30 USD, or you may face a crowded 1.5-hour bus ride — skis included. The hotel is also quite far from Grand Hirafu, and there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance. We even walked back from Moiwa one day in the rain because the shuttle wouldn’t return for another hour — not ideal after skiing. On the positive side, ski rental prices at the hotel were actually better than many shops in the surrounding area. The hotel restaurant is flexible too — if it’s not full, you can usually walk in without a reservation. The onsen itself is nice, but etiquette enforcement could improve. Some guests were not following standard onsen rules and wearing underwear in the baths, which created an awkward atmosphere (I felt like an exhibitionist!). Management may want to either enforce rules more clearly or consider alternative policies to maintain guest comfort (allow swimsuits). Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but unless you have a rental car, I would strongly recommend considering accommodation in Niseko Village or closer to the lifts for convenience. One Niseko is comfortable but somewhat isolated, and transportation can become challenging quickly depending on weather and lift operations.
