Hotel Aso District dengan Sarapan

Location was nearby to the shopping street and overall the experience was good at the ryokan. The staff will try to communicate even though they are not fluent in English. The meals served was pretty good.

The service was amazing, and the whole place was very clean. The public bath house just renovated and it is very spacious. The dinner and breakfast was amazing as the sashimi was fresh. I will return to here when I travel to Aso again.

Nice very warm room (we have been there in January). The onsen is small and shallow. Outside, there's a view of bamboo and the river. The kaiseki dinner was varied and delicious, and breakfast was also great. The hotel staff is pleasant and eager to help. If you arrive at Kurokawa Onsen by bus, when you get off at the stop, go down the stairs and you'll find the hotel entrance right there (there's no sign at the top near the stop).

It was the greatest experience I have had in onsen hotel staying. Everything was the greatest with no room to complain. Exceptional service, nice private onsen (reservation required), spacious and clean rooms, free drinks, dinner with wagyu beef, quiet and relaxing environments. I left my jacket in my room, after I left, they even email me to offer options if I want to have the jacket back. They finally arranged to courier the jacket to my hotel I stayed afterwards (courier fee COD). I appreciate this service a lot, they truly want me to have a nice trip with no regrets. I highly recommend this onsen hotel, very valuable for this low price!

Lovely place with an amazing view of the valley behind. Very much enjoyed the private onsens which can be booked for free. Only drawback is the remote location, only really accessible via car. Would recommend for a short 2-night stay.

From entering the parking lot everything is taken care of, the rooms are enormous, the size of and amenities of a decently sized appartment along with a large kitchen and finally a private onsen fit for two people right next to the beautiful Kurokawa onsen river, aswell as a small waterfall creating an absolutely dreamy experience. The Ryokan is a about a five minutes walk outside the city center which is absolutely no problem as you have everything you need there. The gentleman in the reception speaks decent English so even with no japanese knowledge you should be fine They only seem to have four rooms, we got lucky and booked two days ahead, but most likely won't be that lucky. Absolutely would go again, great experience

No elevator so prepare small luggage would be better. The hotel will hand out voucher for Onsen at another location (walkable distance) but they have one inside the building but the water temperature is very hot. Room is cozy. Location is slightly far from central spot but can still walk or drive. Overall with the price, convenient and value for money. Would like to spend more time there

お部屋はゆったりしてました。ドーム型のお部屋は初めて泊まりましたが気持ちよかったです。 ビュッフェも沢山選べ体に良い食べ物がたべれました。 人が多かったので待ち時間少しありましたが問題なかったです。 周りの施設も充実していましたので、色々癒しスペースを利用したり出来、また行きたいです。

I did not realize the hotel was not close to the Kurokawa onsen center so have to arrange with the hotel to get someone to pick us up. This was my fault for not checking on the address. The staffs are excellent and they assist us with all our needs including having a driver to pick us up from the information center and took us back to the bus stop so we can take the bus back to Yufinin on time. Fortunate we already walked around the kurokawa center the previous night so not a big problem for us but if someone want to walk around, it will be a little distance to get to the center of Kurokawa onsen center area. Foods are excellent and LOVE all the foods they setup for us. Room is big but need to clean up a little bit more with some of the hidden area. We were caught by service with the outside onsens that did not have a bathing area. We went back to our room to take a bath first before going back to the outside onsens to enjoy. They did have some empty container to go a quick body wash close to the onsen water just not use to this kind of arrangement. Other than this the area looks nice and relax.
