Let's be upfront about the location. Bangna is not central Bangkok, and if you are hoping to step outside and find yourself immersed in the buzz of the city, you may need to adjust your expectations. Getting into the heart of Bangkok requires a little planning and some travel time. That said, for families who are happy to use the hotel as a relaxed base and venture out on their own terms, it really isn't a problem. The rooms are simple and no-frills, but they are well kept and perfectly comfortable for a family. Everything you need is there, and that is genuinely the best way to describe this hotel. It doesn't over-promise, and it delivers on what matters. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which always goes a long way. For families travelling on a sensible budget who want reliability over luxury, the Journey Hotel Bangna is a solid and honest choice. We left feeling content, rested, and well looked after. Sometimes that is all you need from a hotel, and the Journey delivers it with ease.

A very good stay overall and easy to recommend. The hotel is extremely clean, well maintained, and offers excellent service and facilities. The Executive Deluxe Suite was spacious and comfortable. The location is quiet and somewhat away from the city center, which is worth noting, and arranging a taxi bus can take some time, although regular taxis are easily available. A solid choice for a comfortable and relaxing stay, especially if proximity to the center is not a priority.

I absolutely loved everything about it! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short distance from the airport, which was perfect for our early flight. Plus, the shuttle service runs every 10 minutes, making our commute effortless.

I’ve stayed at Thana City Golf Resort many times, and every visit leaves me feeling truly relaxed. There’s something so lovely about waking up to a fantastic breakfast and playing golf without sitting in traffic — it’s such a gift. The food is wonderful, and the golf course is beautifully kept. The caddies are so friendly and knowledgeable, always making me smile. And it’s so close to the airport! My heart already wants to go back. I’ll be there again very soon.

Great stay for a short stopover near the airport. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very convenient. We only stayed one night, arriving around 5pm, and used the shuttle bus from the airport both ways which was easy to arrange (300 baht for three of us each way). It was actually nice to return here after first staying during the COVID “test & go” period – completely different experience now and much more relaxed. The hotel has a restaurant and pool, which was ideal as we could keep everything on site without needing to go out. Perfect if you just want a simple overnight stay before heading back to the airport. The location is set back from the main road, so if you want to go elsewhere you’ll need a Grab or Bolt taxi, but for a short stay this wasn’t an issue. Overall, a good, clean and convenient option for a quick stopover. Would stay again.

The room is spacious and the price is very reasonable compared to hotels in the city. There are many local food options nearby, making it convenient to find something to eat. The hotel is about 25 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Although it is outside the city center, the advantage is that the area usually has no traffic, which makes traveling easier. The staff and cleaners were very polite and friendly. They kindly allowed me to check in earlier since a room was already available. There is a Mini Big C right next to the hotel and a 7-Eleven across the road. You can also find massage shops and local noodle restaurants within walking distance. Overall, it is a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you prefer a quiet area with easy access to food and basic shops.

Honestly, I didn't live there, but I visited them before I lived there and they allowed me to get a cash refund.
