Location: literally 30 seconds away from the pedestrian walking street. Registan is just 10 mins away.
Breakfast: it's not a buffet and you can't choose, but they cook you 2 home-made dishes (they differ every morning): could be pancakes with jam and fruits + another dish with meat.
Staff: nice people, will help with anything they can.
People from all over the world stay there: always nice to chat.
👀 What to watch out for:
Rooms are quite old, and the carpet on the floor wasn't really clean, so I couldn't do my regular stretches.
Towels smelled of mustiness (I guess bc they don't have a dryer).
Rooms windows face the inside yard, so it's always way too dark in the rooms.
No water bottles / tea / coffee provided in the room, no kettle, fridge, safe box in the room
There isn't really a typical hostel / hotel common space to comfortably sit and chat - only this inside yard, but not sofas or room to play board games or comfortably sit.

AAnita701The hotel is in a good location there’s a lot of restaurants nearby and even the hotel have a Georgian restaurant downstairs. But no elevator and the staff did not even help us carry our luggage in the stairs. Room is clean but not big

AAF2310It is not up to a 5 star level for the below reasons
1) the facility looks new from the outside and superficially it is grand but the details reveal that this hotel is subpar, for example the gym facilities, the elevators, etc… looks like a standard holiday inn
2) the staff barely speak English and when you ask them something the attitude is mostly cold and unwelcoming, not helpful at all
3) the room facilities didn’t work most of the time, for example the shower buttons, the phone or the aircon
4) the breakfast selection is minimalist, with v limited varieties
5) the location is far from city center

PPengguna TetamuОтель очень разочаровал. В номере нас ждали грязные халаты, полотенца и ужасно грязная сантехника, сломанные лейки в душе и незакрывающаяся дверь в душевую кабину. В душе вода не уходила практически совсем, мыться пришлось по щиколотку в воде. В ванной не работала вытяжка, влажность ужасная. Но при всем при этом хочется отметить персонал отеля. Ребята правда очень стараются. Мы попросили заменить полотенца и сделать чтото со сливом. Ребята сразу же подсуетились и все исправили. После этого вода стала уходить лучше, но появился ужасный запаха из канализации.
Завтраки хорошие, есть кофемашина, персонал помогает с напитками и если нет чего-то в наличии приготовят вам лично по запросу.
Местоположение шикарное, все достопримечательности в 5-10 минутах ходьбы. Но отель расположен боизко к шумной дороге, поэтому с открытым окном не всегда приятно находится в комнате.

MMladenowskiWe were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Although it’s rated 4 stars, it offers amenities and service comparable to some 5-star hotels. Our room was spacious, featuring a balcony, a spotless bathroom, and four complimentary bottles of water although we are a couple. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, arranging our private visit to the SPA and swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a wider and better selection than some nearby 5-star hotels.
The only downsides were the location of the rooms, which are separate from the main building, the absence of an elevator, and open-air corridors connecting the rooms to the dining and SPA areas. This can be uncomfortable during colder months like February, so dressing warmly is advisable.
This hotel is definitely THE BEST DEAL you can find in the area and it's just 10 minutes walk from the main attraction in Samarkand.

GGirls who travelWe really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect, and only a 10 minute walk to registan square. The room was really spacious which we enjoyed, and was very clean! The staff were super friendly and helpful, however the only issue was when we did our laundry they told us it would be ready that afternoon as we were checking out the next morning, but it wasn’t and we ended up having to take wet laundry to our next destination (which we still had to pay for!). The breakfast was nice, and it was lovely to sit outside at the tables and drink tea

PPengguna TetamuLocation: excellent! It is in the same building complex as the Art Gallery Happy Bird, mentioned in Tripadvisor. Registan is about 300 m away, so after dinner I would walk there to see the illumination.
My room had 2 twin beds, was rather small but comfortable. Upon opening the windows, a cool breeze entered the room. Wi-fi was reliable and there was a water boiler for tea.
Breakfast was abundant and good. The cook, Dishoda, would make me an omelette every morning. In the same building there are restaurants and fast food/ice cream joints.
On my last day I took the train to Khiva, which departs at 11:46. The hotel allowed me to stay in the TV room, with wifi access, water and toilet facilities, for 10 hours after check out. I recommend Hotel Dyor.

This was very good point. I thank you again for him.
But the facility , room and breakfast was not good.
I am sorry to say this but I stayed in better condition hotels with less price until now in Uzbekistan.
So I can't say it was nice stay here.
But the workers were good.

BBickey1005The young stuff was unbelievably kind and polite. The day after my stay, I needed to leave Samarkand late at night to catch an overnight train to Khiva. Even after the check-out, the hotel helpfully let me take a shower and rest in a room for free. Their hospitality was incredible.
For a possible guest, note that there is no single room with an individual bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast was not available during my stay (paid back for this👍).
Overall, I strongly recommend the stay here to boost your wonderful journey in Samarkand.
