This is a hotel build 1955 with a lot of soul !! Yes its seen its been used for many years but the soul and the service and dedication Staff Way compensate for this ! At the front of the Hotel there is s outdoor 35 degree heated pool with a Great (No Clothes) Wellness and Sauna area 4 x Saunas and Steam .. The breakfast was very good Also served by dedicated friendly Staff.. The Gym doesnt come much better at a hotel and i visited a Lot the last 20 years.. TechnoGym new with the most magnificent view and great Cardio gear also Technogym🙏🏼 The park is right outside u feel like far away from a city turn 180 degrees after hours of walking in the park and you walk straight into Bremen.. My advise don’t expect some newly renovated hotel but a house with soul lot of memories and warm and relax in the pool and park 🙏🏼

Das Hotel ist gut geeignet für eine Nacht, mehr aber auch nicht. Jedenfalls nicht bei unseren Ansprüchen. Liegt direkt an der Uni, am Universum (lohnenswert) und in der Nähe des schönen Bürgerparks. City ist erreichbar mittels Öffis, Fahrrad oder eben Auto. Betten sind mittelprächtig, für uns etwas hart. Einrichtung eher zweckmäßig, aber sauber. Bad klein, nichts Besonderes. Restaurant ok, inzwischen aufgrund Personalmangels keine Bedienung am Tisch, man holt sich sein Essen selbst ab, mittels Pieper wird man informiert, wann man es soweit ist. Ganz furchtbar... Aber bei dem Personalmangel eben hilfreich. Frühstück ist richtig gut und das Personal immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Es war sauber, es gab eine Kaffeemaschine, was mich immer besonders freut. Es ist nicht riesig, aber angenehm groß. Das Zimmer hatte allerdings keine Klimaanlage, für mich in der Preisklasse im Sommer ein absolutes no Go. Gut ich war im November dort, da stört das nicht so dramatisch Was schon gestört hat, war wie extrem hellhörig. Es war. Insbesondere auf den Gang hinaus, das hat der Schlafqualität massiven Abbruch getan. Das sind für mich zwei Punkte, die ein Hotel deutlich nach unten ziehen, denn genau darum geht es ja: ein bei jeder Wetterlage und Tageszeit komfortables und ruhiges Zimmer zu haben. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Mir hat besonders der Wintergarten gefallen, in dem man angenehm ruhig sitzen konnte. Das gibt es eher selten . Auch wenn es die Firma zahlt: Preisleistung war aus meiner Perspektive dann doch eher schlecht. Dafür fehlen auch ein paar Hotel Einrichtungen wie zum Beispiel eine Sauna oder Ähnliches. Muss man nicht haben, bei dem Preis würde ich es aber erwarten.

Stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights 9th till 12th November and had a very pleasant trip. I have used this Hotel many times over many years and the booking has always been excellent. At the risk of repeating myself... the room and bathroom are a great size and very clean. During covid, the rooms are not cleaned daily unless you request it. The breakfast has many hot and cold choices, and is usually included in the price as is the free travel ticket. Town and transport links are very close to the Hotel as is the railway station next to the premises. I write this review to make a special mention of the Hotel Manager Oliver Steding. I had a problem completing my u.k. locator form in that I could not make the link on my smartphone or indeed the government website, although the wifi signal was very good. He sat with me with his laptop and managed to complete the form and supplied me with a printout. A service above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you for a gret stay.

Een redelijk goed moderner hotel in een oud gebouw. Je blijft dus dingen tegenkomen die kraken of nog gedateerd zijn, zoals de badkamer. Wel alles netjes schoon. Het ontbijt is prima. Grote variëteit. De auto parkeren is even goed puzzelen en je spiegels inklappen om door de poortjes heen te komen.

The Ibis Budget hotel is in a great location right opposite the Hauptbahnhof (main train station for the city). If you’re looking to go to the Bremer Freimarkt in October, it’s right behind the Hauptbahnhof so you couldn’t find a better place. The Altstadt (old town) isn’t far away either, and you can get buses, trams or taxis right outside. This isn’t a hotel for peace and quiet - there is lots going on around it and it was fairly noisy inside and out with all the hustle and bustle of city life. We booked online and I was able to check in prior to arrival which was helpful - on arrival we just picked up keys and signed the forms, and the bill was sent later by email. The room is as you’d expect - very basic but clean and tidy. Everything worked and it all looked fresh. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly - there seemed to be no cooling function. As a consequence the room got really hot and stuffy overnight. We couldn’t really open the door because the city outside was noisy. The other serious issue we had was returning to our room after a day out to find it had been left unlocked by the cleaners. Luckily nothing had been taken, but I was not happy. The price was reasonable and the 12pm checkout is later than many hotels. We just had to drop our keys in a box in the lobby. In summary - this hotel’s best asset is its location. If you want to be in the middle of things:l, this place is for you.
