Hotel Mont-Brison

Ottima posizione per visitare la città e i dintorni, perfetto il parcheggio privato e coperto per le moto. Stanza pulita e letto comodo, bagno piccolo ma funzionale. Niente aria condizionata (molto comune specialmente per le strutture in montagna) arredamento e look molto datati ma un piccolo terrazzino con vista sulle montagne… faceva molto caldo e ho dormito con la finestra aperta: ovviamente, in questo caso, i rumori della città si sentono tutti. Staff professionale e gentile. Colazione buona.

Charmante chambre en centre ville, propre et literie confortable. Dommage que le parking était complet quand nous sommes arrivés, difficile de trouver une place. Le plus gros problème sait, que nous n'avons pas beaucoup dormi car la télé de notre voisin était très forte jusqu'à 4h du matin. Je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel, si j'ai besoin de retourner à Briançon.

We suspect there were some staff present at breakfast (very simple, even by French standards), but other than that this place was run by one man, the proprietor, who kept himself very busy managing both the reception and the adjacent parking lot. The latter was easy enough to access, but very small. So René, as we came to call him, had a busy time making sure everyone put their vehicles in excatly the right spot. When that was taken care of, he retreated to the reception desk, and started to hand out keys. That took forever, as he had to leave his post every time someone else pulled in to the parking lot. From the time we arrived, it took nearly an hour before we were settled in our rooms. A party of German motorcyclists who arrived at the same time as us basically gave up, and started to undress and enjoy their cold beers right there in the reception. Good move. Despite all this, we wouldn't mind coming back. The rooms were nice, the prices okay, and the location very central. And friendly René gave us all a good laugh

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. The room had a lovely view of the mountains, very comfortable beds, and a newly redone en-suite shower room. Breakfast was great, a variety to suit all tastes, in a very pleasant atmosphere. The reception team was welcoming and helpful despite us being two rather shabby looking hikers. We found the whole hotel to be very well run, and excellent value. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants plus shady parks and a supermarket are all close by. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for a lovely stay.

Very small room, clean but old and small. Very bad smocking odor in the hall and inside the hotel. Too much expensive. In front of a turn around, very noisy. As this hotel was told to be king and one of the best of Briançon, I can confirm: it is not recommandable

Found Hotel Mont-Brison while looking a place to stop during a road trip, and it positively surprised us despite having already good reviews. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but on the other hand it looked to have been renovated recently and everything was clean and tidy. Bathroom was another positive surprise, and especially as the shower was great, good water pressure and didn't have to wait for hot water. Bed was comfortable as well and gave a good nights sleep. View from the balcony was great, watching towards the mountains over the town. Only minor complaint would be on the staff being a bit pushy and giving an intrusive look of themselves. When arriving to the parking, we got pounced immediately before getting of the bike. Same happened on the same evening when getting some left behind items from the bike.

My usual hotel in Briancon was closed so I tried Mont-Brison. Glad I did. The room was small but very comfortable, with a balcony too. Bathroom drying racks took care of my rain-soaked gear. Free parking in an interior courtyard, and motorcycles welcome. Loved the bread served at breakfast.

Location is good, close to everything shops ski lift…

Accueil super, chambre propre et confortable avec une salle eau pratique . Le parking est petit mais très pratique ce qui permet de faire tt à pied. Le petit déjeuner propose tout ce qu il faut pour partir la journée. Pour nous très bonne étape à briancon
