Hotel Mesra keluarga di Brisbane

This is a perfect hotel if you want to stay in Brisbane city center! The room was huge (apartment style) and fits until 4 people (the sofa bed was queen sized). The view was wonderful and BEST location with that price. Next to the hotel was convenience stores, and near Queenstreet mall as well. The heater didn't work at the first night, while the weather was 12°C. But the next day it worked, just not warm enough for us asians 😅, still 24-25°C. Good enough. Breakfast was great, but we expected it to be a buffet breakfast, turned out it was a la carte style. The staff were very kind to let me and my elderly parents check in early at around 12 PM, after 4 hours standing at the airport due to some problems. Overall, very nice experience.

Whilst our stay in the Hotel X Suite was pleasant, there was nothing memorable about it. The suite was spacious, fitted with modern conveniences (ie. electric blockout curtains, Dyson hairdryer, zip tap and smart tv) and was generally comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom lacked privacy as it overlooked the street and directly faced another building across the road so the blinds were always drawn preventing natural light from coming in. Also, there is no separate toilet with lockable door. Although, the toiletries were nice and the shower quite spacious. Service was friendly but lacked a personal touch. Breakfast at Bisou Bisou had a limited menu but the food was overall good. The rooftop bar (Iris) had great views, a good tapas menu and relaxing vibe. The location of the hotel is convenient, within walking distance of the buzzing James Street precinct and a short car ride to the city centre.

Room is cleaned everyday. Not possible to check in early and at 2pm there would be a long queue at the reception and it goes all the way till the entrance. Calls to Recep takes very long to be answered. I requested for a 30mins late check out but the cleaner opened the door and came in even before my check out timing. Cleaner came knocking again awhile later and Recep also called me prior to me leaving the room even though I had already informed I will be coming down 30mins late. Hotel is located beside a pub so expect that it may be noisy on a Saturday night.

Nice new hotel, recommend it to my friends. People are nice to help. Lots guests but still managed well. Few safeguards at front door, that’s not usual in AUS hotels, but good.

Booked this hotel as it was close proximity to a wedding. Check in was easy, the hotel was clean and smell nice. The room was very spacious and looks exactly like the photos. The bathroom was good and the shower pressure and temperature of water was on par. The aircon worked well wasn’t too strong and we were able to keep the room at a steady temperature the whole stay. The amenities at the hotel was good, the pool size was good for the size of the hotel and it was warm and clean. However some extra few seats would be handy for around the pool. The smoking area courtyard was a good touch. There is laundry facilities on site which is free just need to buy your own washing powder. The gym is very simple. The hotel does have room service which finishes at 9pm There is a bottle shop across the road as well as the glen hotel which was very handy! The food was nice in the restaurant and so were the drinks. Very nice atmosphere. Had breakfast outside the hotel and that was nice quick and easy options . Overall I would stay here again Thanks

Excellent location, staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was neat and tidy. Beds are very comfortable. The only fault was there was no body wash/shower gel in the toiletries provided. Pod coffee machine with pods is a welcome touch. Mini bar items were out on the bench which is not a great location if you have small children.

The reception staff were very friendly and efficient and we were lucky enough to be able to check in earlier. The rooms were clean and the linen was high quality. The queen beds were too soft however, and one in particular sunk in the middle. The view of the city was incredible. We checked out the gym and the spa water looked very cloudy and uninviting. It was a large spa and not one that you refilled every time. When we were leaving, the cleaning staff were very friendly too. We didn’t sleep well due to the beds ( we had two rooms and four people ) and for the cost they really do need to upgrade their mattresses.

Room was cozy and spacious. Big bathroom with a bathtub. Free water and soft drink in the mini bar. The heritage elevator in the building was an experience. 11 am check out was brilliant! Only one thing.. wifi is too slow to use. Even the smart tv was lagging because of the slow wifi during stay. Other than that, it was great for a little staycation!
