Hotel Broadbeach dengan Gim

The hotel room is clean and housekeeping services are good. The only issue is that the car park is not free. Take note if you do plan to go to the ****** to play, always take a ticket when you enter the car park and when any of your travel mates have earned 5 tier points in the ****** with the star club card, go claim the free car park and you can save on paying for it. You can rent a car and go places like Yatala Pies and eat great pies.

Staying in a standard king roo. In Dorsett hotel was great! The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very close to Star City where we coupd walk directly to the theatre to see the ABBA show. The only thing that I found disappointing was HARVEST BUFFETS food. The quality of their food was poor.

This is an okay place to stay. Could use a good scrub but friendly service and close to shops. Nice view and pool. Good price and facilities are acceptable

I love the view so much!! It was actually my first and self-guided journey to Australia. The front desk attendant ,Tammy, was so kind to me. She not only introduced the notice about hotel slowly to me (my listening isn’t very well haha), but recommended me the place that I could visit. What a lovely trip in Cold Coast.

Great place to stay with family. We booked two bedrooms apartment and One room there was a bit too small but overall had good experience.

Family of 3 for 6 nights. Very spacious clean and comfortable. Master ensuite large and very nice. Great pool. But you need to pay $5 for extra towels... Really! Short walk to beach and you can walk about a 1 km to Pacific mall but to far to walk with groceries back, Coles closer about 500m Train station 400m train or uber to Surfers CBD $12. I would have given this place 4.5 except for maintenance issues and Curtin's. The windows face directly east great view but the curtains can't be fully closed so you get bright sunlight coming in early in the mornings, hard to sleep in Maintenance: our AC control panel LED went blank, the buttons worked but couldn't read menu program and had to guess if it was on auto or fan or timer managed to get it running continuously at good temperature but not easy .We Reported this on day 2 and subsequent calls but no action. Surely they would have a spare panel to plug and play? 2: the master bedroom door jammed closed I had to use balcony to get from living area to bedroom which is not convenient with a 5yo. My wife had to sleep in spare bed incase our daughter had to get up during the night. We Reported this day 5 but nobody came to look or fix A general note to travelers. Many of these holiday apartments are privately owned but managed by a receptionist employed by a management group. It is not like a hotel where they employ maintenance staff.

The location is fantastic. Parked the car and we were able to walk to everything we needed for our stay (beach, food, shops, etc) Lovely pool, excellent view from the room that we had, lovely comfortable beds and the room (2 bedroom apartment) was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay (washing machine, dryer, dish washer, 2 bathrooms!) The room had 3 air-cons so even though it was a super hot weekend we were quite comfortable in the room. The residents of the hotel were really friendly towards my kids as well. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!

Everything was great except the terrible weather and food outlets either all closed or terrible salads at the oasis carvery. Plus side clean, great service, and the ribs at Fat Freddy's were excellent! Had to pay extra for car parking. View to the darling hotel and traffic noise as expected.

The 3 bedroom apartment with water views that we stayed in was beautifully set out with balconies from each bedroom and from the lounge room. We had a great view and woke each morning to see the waves and beach. Unfortunately: There was NO soundproofing in the rooms and there was definitely NO double glazing. We were on the 13th Floor and we could hear what people were saying from the pool which was on the 4th Floor (yes we had all our doors closed.) On Saturday night the music was so loud that we thought we were part of the parties down below as we could hear people celebrating and could hear what was being said from 13 floors above. The rubbish bins are collected at 5.30 a.m. and therefore we were woken up at that time on a few days. They finished collecting at 5.50 a.m. so we tried to get back to sleep…….but….. I know you can’t alter what time rubbish is collected, however with the lack of double glazing or good soundproofing, then there is no way to avoid being wide awake at this time. The bedrooms have 3 windows and pull down blinds were on the windows - well they didn’t fit correctly and therefore once the sun came up we were up !!! I did call Reception to ask if someone could come up to see if the blinds could be re-rolled and the Reception staff member was lovely. Within 5 minutes a young man was at our door to work on the blinds - fast response, thank you. He did try and re-roll the blinds so that perhaps they could be more flush and fitted into the window cavity but they were too tight and he couldn’t even get one off the roller. A suggestion would be to have black out curtains in each room. The toilets took forever to flush, even if a tiny amount of toilet paper was put into the toilet, you have to push and hold the button down for ages and ages and ages. I know this sounds trivial, but I put this in so that perhaps a small adjustment might make all the difference. We always stay at Avani Broadbeach, which is only 1 block away, but what a difference it is. Avani, although being on a main road, is so quiet, whereas The Wave Resort is so noisy with the cars, motor bikes, nightclubs and restaurants right below the Resort. Yes you are in the middle of so many restaurants and eateries but you also have the noise that goes with it. If the rooms and windows/doors were soundproofed then it would make such a difference but I doubt that can be done after the building has been built. We were notified that building works were being undertaken around us, but they were nothing noise wise compared to the loud restaurants and traffic. I would not recommend staying at The Wave Resort unless you are young and party goers OR deaf.
