Ulasan Hotel Le Plaza Brussels

This hotel is really old... Don't let the five-star rating fool you, it feels more like a three-star. The elevator is incredibly slow, from 1999! The furniture in the room is also very dated. The front desk sells bottled water in glass bottles for 8 euros a pop – ridiculous. As our Belgian client told us, the hotel's location is right between a safe area and an unsafe one. It's close to the light rail, but there's no elevator from the light rail station to the street level, which is quite annoying. Walking to the city center is fairly convenient though. For the price, it offers good value for money; other hotels in the same area are more expensive.

This is an older hotel with a rich sense of history. The location is excellent, very close to the train station, and the Grand Place is also within walking distance. Our room had a street view. Brussels was our last stop in Europe, and generally, European hotel rooms tend to be small, but this hotel's room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was also very large. The slippers were very comfortable. We had an early flight, so we didn't get to try the hotel breakfast.

The hotel is very upscale with large rooms and bathrooms. The location is good and the decor is opulent. However, check-in isn't until 4 PM, but the front desk staff was nice.

Le Plaza Brussels is a gorgeous, old‑school Art Deco hotel with big rooms, great cleanliness, and genuinely warm service. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The only downside was that the WiFi/TV connection in our room didn’t work, and even after asking a few times it wasn’t fixed. Still, overall a stylish and comfortable stay.

Overall a great place to stay, close to the center within 5 minutes, the breakfast however and drinks general was overpriced

The hotel facilities are quite old, but there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself has a great ambiance with a very distinctive charm; you often see influencers taking photos in the lobby. The cocktails at the hotel bar are also excellent, a drink during downtime really helps with sleep. It was a good experience overall!

Hotel bit dated, but clean and spacious, especially the lobby. The room was comfortable with a large bed and the bathroom was very big. I also appreciated the small entrance area with double doors, which was very useful for leaving coats and other items. One thing I noticed a bit weird was finding a Bible in the bedside table in 2026, something that felt more typical of the 90s. Overall a pleasant stay, staff very polite.

Lobby looks amazing, room is decent but hotel staff gave me a lot of trouble before I was able to check in.

This was a very elegantly furnished hotel in the northern part of the city, near metro and train stations. Daily cleaning was efficient and unobtrusive. Kettle in room was provided with various teas and coffee. The gym is small but functional. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This is an older hotel with large rooms. The bathroom design is a bit old but all items function well and that’s the most important. The location is within walking distance of central city sites. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The check in service was a bit peculiar. They request my address, email and phone number. When I asked why they need this on top of copies of my passport they told this was the policy. Another bad policy is check in time of 4pm. I came at 3:30 but supposedly no free rooms were available. Very strange…

So lovely. Great price on trip.com compared to their prices.

Had an issue with the bathroom, was told we will look after you next time, unfortunately won’t be visiting this hotel again. Although location is good, the actual hotel rooms and service is not acceptable.

The family suite we booked was beautiful and very comfortable. We were really pleased with it!
