Hotel berhampiran China Mega Shop, Bucharest

The hotel is situated a few metres from the Gara de Nord railways station and underground station, so it is very easy to reach. The check-in procedure was fast, room clean with a large bed, toilet, shower, TV set, hairdryer etc. The door is card-operated, mine unfortunately didn´t work properly, so I had to go to the reception desk twice but the girl was really helpful. Breakfast is served in the adjacent building from 7 .00 to 10.30, quite a good range of things to choose from. Wi-fi connection strong and stable. Next time in Bucharest I will definitely try to get a room here again.

Decent given the price paid, though the rooms could do with some TLC. Good location and quiet at nights.

What a pleasant stay we had! Upon arrival, Costin, who checked us in promptly, made us feel comfortable and very welcomed. He understands our special need for a fragrance-free room due to our sensitivity to scents/chemicals. We got one on the higher floor, clean, spacious and nicely-decorated and has a beautiful city view! It had everything we need. Will not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Hotel My Continental Gara De Nord provided a solid base for our four days of exploring Bucharest. A very convenient location, regarding the metro and railway station; and within a walkable distance (around 20 min) to the centre. The hotel was clean and safe; our room offered everything we needed and general ambience was pleasant. What deserves a special mention, is the restaurant staff at breakfast times (good-humoured and very professional) as well as breakfast on offer – plentiful, fresh and tasty. Also, a nice vibe there in the evenings with an attentive and lovely gentleman at the bar. Thank you for a positive experience, looking forward to coming back …

Marriott upper-scale properties, such as their Autograph Collection &/or Tribute Portfolio brands, continue to miss the mark. Weak management seems to plague many of these properties & consistent delivery of Marriott's Bonvoy Program only exists in the minds of HQ Executives. The experience of Bonvoy Members is something quite different in reality, since members NEVER know what to expect until they check in. Just finished 12 nights in 6 different European Marriott brands in 3 countries & only 1 even bothered to acknowledge our lifetime elite membership status. Otherwise, we received the same treatment as a guest staying at a Marriott property for the 1st time. The Marmorosch is indeed a beautiful property -- or at least the exterior & lobby area are. The rooms themselves are more more like Fairfield Inn properties in the US. Basic to the extreme & poor housekeeping was evident throughout the property. Trash that littered the floor on arrival was still there 3 days later, as were the blood droplets on the bathroom floor, & one has to question what type of housekeeping would leave a bed in the condition of the one in the attached photos? Only 1 side of the huge hand-pull drapes worked & could be opened, so we called to ask that someone be sent to fix the other side. A pleasant gentleman promptly appeared to tell us that they could not fix the drapes because a separate company had to be scheduled to do the repair. We subsequently learned from an honest employee that the non-functioning drapes issue has plagued the property since opening & is well known to owner/management. The property was previously a bank so there is a bar in the lower level Vault area, which one would incorrectly assume to be a beautiful & sophisticated location for cocktails. Unfortunately, as you descend the stairs to the lower level the loud & pulsating disco music immediately lets you know that your expectations are incorrect. We looked in the door & decided to not even bother entering & returned to the beautiful Lobby for drinks, but left after 15 minutes when no one arrived at the bar to offer service, & others who were waiting when we arrived were still unserved when we departed. Breakfast was a manic mess since the room where it is served is not capable of meeting guest needs if the hotel is more than 75% occupied. Many of the food items that should be hot are cold & unappetizing. Never saw a breakfast menu on a table in the first 2 days of our stay, & only after asking about cooked-to-order items that were being served around us on the 3rd day, were we given a menu with several options that are, in fact, available for breakfast. Check-in was the biggest fiasco we have ever encountered at ANY Marriott property. A full 50 minutes to check-in with only 2 employees manning the 4-5 positions & the Bonvoy Member sign on the front desk was completely meaningless. La habitación del hotel tenía todo lo necesario, y el tamaño era normal. La cama muy cómoda. También sirven un desayuno en la mañana, donde podrás encontrar varios productos en formato de buffet. Y el personal del hotel estuvo muy bien. El hotel no está cerca del centro, pero la parada de autobús está a 2 minutos andando del hotel. También, si vienes desde el aeropuerto, tiene buena localización. Volvería a repetir. Muy recomendable.

Ήταν μια υπέροχη διαμονή στο Ξενοδοχείο RAMADA PLAZA και ευελπιστούμε να το ξαναεπισκεφτούμε. Η εξυπηρέτηση από όλο το προσωπικό ήταν άψογη, οι εγκαταστάσεις με όλες τις τεχνολογίες και καθαρές. Το πρωϊνό ήταν πλούσιο με αρκετή ποικιλία επιλογών. Χρησιμοποιήσαμε το γυμναστήριο και το Vitality club για μασαζ, steam bath και σάουνα τα οποία απολαύσαμε. Ξεχωριστή νότα επίσης έδωσαν στις διακοπές μας και οι δύο μεγάλες πισίνες όπου περάσαμε αρκετές ώρες χαλάρωσης.

Second time here. Great location. Clean. New. The lift is seriously problematic there’s no way you can choose if you are going up or down - you end up spending time with whoever is inside. (Cleaning staff, customers etc). They have a phone in the room that doesn’t work at all so you have to use your mobile phone to get some amenities or whatever you need. (Seriously!) Great restaurants and food. Restaurant staff super friendly both dinner and breakfast. Reception staff kind and courteous. Can you please extend the room service menu? 9.30 pm isn’t great at all. Please make sure the rooms have a good smell when you switch on the AC. Thanks !
