A hotel with just a little extra in all matters. We were traveling 2 adults and 2 kids ( 8 & 10) The service was excellent We felt very welcome. The room was amazing (we got a big suite) with extra parent room and it was big enough for relaxing with take away with tired kids in the evening. The swimmingpool was fine and the sauna very warm and nice. The breakfast was really fantastic with special cook making omelets, special fresh frught maker and a small extra thing when leaving the breakfast. All in all you had the feeling of getting a little extra all the time. This hotel is highly recommended and we would like to stay here again next time we visit Budapest.

Excellent location, well preserved building. No elevator so avoid it if you have many luggage or difficulties in moving. Do not book with breakfast as they mean just two croissants and an orange juice.

Beautiful hotel downstairs, but rooms are very tired, they are not as bright and vibrant as on the website. Our room on the 4th floor had no pictures on the walls and lacked the basic items. You could also hear the upstairs guests which was very annoying at 4am! The bathroom was also very dated. The Balcony was a lovely feature in the room. We asked for an iron only to be told there was an ironing room on the ground floor, this was really inconvenient. We went for lunch at the bar which was awful, my burger was rock hard and took ages to come and they only replaced it with the same thing. The location is great if you are heading out into the city. It does the job for a city break hotel.

We stay here when on business in Budapest, and usually don't have problems but staying in 315 recently we were put next to people having a party in 317, it was really noisy, some kind of last night in Budapest flight crew thing. Why would you put business people next to party people? It just made no sense. We got moved for the night to a quieter suite on same floor, 323, which was great but the next day the front desk ”miscommunicated” us to the breakfast area to collect our breakfast boxes. Its puzzling. Overall the staff are super friendly and things usually go without a hitch and on that basis I would recommend. I really hope standards aren't slipping as it would be a shame.

I have definitely stayed in nicer hotels but for the price of the room we really couldnt complain. Room was clean and spacious with a kettle, microwave and fridge. Bottled water was replenished every day and toiletries provided in the bathroom where there was a large walk in shower. The breakfast was very average and we do regret paying for this, in total we stayed three nights and we did not use the breakfast after the first day. The breakfast was quite traditionally hungarian which we didnt mind at all and expected. Our issues with the breakfast were the cold food, hairs in food and very poor quality coffee. The omelette bar was also closed on the day of our visit. We also had a small issue with the pillows on our bed. The pillows were small and square like furnishing cushions instead of the traditional rectangle ones however we still slept quite well and therefore did not raise this with reception.
