A bit outside the old city center it is still walkable if you don’t mind a longer stroll. The building is certainly an old grand hotel. Live Music was played in the atrium dining area and in the lobby every night we were there which was quite audible in our room, though it stopped at around 10pm

Beautiful spa and public areas. The rooms need some attention and they are definitely not 5*.

Everything was amazing. Executive room big and clean. All communal areas immaculate. I will stay here again when next in budapest. The smell of the hotel is out of this world. I couldnt figure out where it was coming from but it always smelt so good!

Really loved it. Beautiful, elegant hotel, great location, the spa is lovely. Worth noting that you *do* have to book the spa inclusive rooms - I guess if you'd not realised that you might be annoyed. Breakfast is pretty great, bar is nice with good cocktails.

The location is excellent, easy, short walk to the opera house and many restaurants.

This was a grand hotel in a section of Budapest within easy walking distance of the old city. The included breakfast was amazing and the service very friendly. Only negative was dinner in the main restaurant as it didn't live up to the perfection of the rest of the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Very Good Hotel in a great location with very attentive staff also a nice spa and very comfortable beds great power shower and a champagne breakfast to start the day, all you would expect from a 5* Hotel would definitely come back to stay again.

READ THIS FOR ROOM SELECTION. we had interior rooms that open to the enclosed atrium. The rooms were very warm and there was apparently no way to cool them I would guess they were 25c/77f. Opening the windows did nothing as the atrium is warm. The staff tried to help, but I wonder if they were being honest as I have seen this same issue mentioned in other reviews. They said maintenance adjusted the heat but there was no change. There was an offer to move us the last night and in the end they brought us fans.

Location was great (around 20 minutes walking to most major tourist attractions plus lots of dining options) - truly does feel like a 5 star hotel so would definitely recommend for first time visitors to Budapest (plus the spa was really great as well).
