Location - near to Busan station (10 minutes taxi ride or 20 minutes bus ride + a little walking). It's also near to Gamcheon Culture Village (30 minutes bus ride). Lotte Department Store is walking distance of 10 minutes or a bus ride of 5 minutes. Evening time, you can see stalls laid up selling cooked seafood - many locals will eat and drink there (we didn't try as we were too full). Just next to the hotel, there's a Emart convenience shop but if you walk about 50m down the street, there is S25 convenient shop which I find the things are much cheaper. If you wish to grab a coffee, there is a ”Blue Shak” cozy cafe within 50m. This area is less touristy.
Service - The receptionists can speak English but I felt they could be more friendlier. We unforeseen our small sized luggage to be spoilt and requested to be thrown away at check out but was told that they do not have a disposal bin. I understand South Korea has a strict disposal system but given such a big property, they could at least help because we travellers can't just dispose things anywhere. The receptionist reluctantly helped after I insisted. The Housekeeping was excellent, clean room throughout stay.
Room - Good size. I booked a triple room (Ondol - floor bedding) but was given 3 real beds instead. I did not pursue further as I checked in late (11pm+) and it was 2 nights. The bed was too soft for me. View of the room was partial ocean and port.
Overall, a good stay but I will not return to this hotel. I am a hotelier but I do not expect sky high services because service line can be hard at times. The receptionists at both check in and check out didn't gave me a warm feeling - didn't felt as welcome like a traveller.

The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Busan Station. The hotel room is spacious and I like the blue sofa. The only thing is that the TV is not user-friendly, and we ended up not watching it. We had a hard time trying to switch from HDMI to normal TV mode. Receiptionist is helpful to store luggage after check out. Complimentary parking is also available at the hotel.

The last time I was in Busan earlier this year I stayed at the Asti which was on the other side of Busan station. The Ramada is super convenient clean and comfortable. There's a couple of coffee shops nearby and a row of street stalls next to the water just behind. Plenty of small restaurants at the Busan station itself. Just across the road is Chinatown again many food options. There's a big wet market about a 5 min walk away and behind that streets lined with Korean restaurants. We found some delicious value for money BBQ and soup spots there.

While the room size was a little small for 2 luggages, the convenience via its close proximity to Busan station coupled with the delicious breakfast spread more than made up for it. It’s the standard Toyoko Inn hotel room with generally satisfactory cleanliness.

booked two rooms for the four of us, and the top-up for the ocean view room was worth it as my parents enjoyed the view a lot. the hotel was highly accessible, as it was located right outside exit 6 of busan station. it was easy to get taxis to commute around busan from our hotel, with little to no waiting time. the staff were friendly and hospitable, and helped to make our stay at the hotel a pleasant one. the rooms were clean and modern, and we truly enjoyed our stay!

The hotel room looked nothing like it looked in the images. The first room I was giving the toilet had urine on the seat. My room was changed . While the bathroom and room it self was clean . The cleaning could be better. The room itself was dusty and the towels looked well used . The bedding as well could have been better. The bed was comfy and big . And the breakfast was okay for a vegetarian, basic but filled me up for the day of travel .
The checking staff could be more friendly and welcoming . The location is close to the station and it’s easy to use the buses to get to place however it is far away from the beach areas .
Downside of the room no hanging space and not full length mirror .

Breakfast is terrible and provide less choice.
The location is good in here but other area is more convenient.
The most stupid room design is :”there is no door between washroom and bedroom.
You should get naked and seen by your companion if you want shower.

My family and I stayed at the hotel from 26 Dec to 28 Dec 2023 and upon checkout, the staff insisted that they had issues reversing my 200 000 krw deposit because I didn't use the same card. This is strange and confusing because I only used one credit card the whole time in Korea. I also used the same card to pay for the hotel booking upon check in. We stayed in other Lotte Hotels in Korea and compared to those hotels, our experience at Lotte Hotel Busan was not the best. During check-in, i had several questions for the staff assisting us but she told us curtly that she will explain this later. Perhaps it was a language issue but definitely rubbed me the wrong way. During our time using the pool, different lifeguards asked me on two separate occasions if my family had registered to use the pool -- we paid for the pool usage and received wristbands. They also hovered around my family quite a bit - prolly cos my husband's arm tattoo was showing under his shirt and my kids are rather loud (they are 3 and 6 fyi). We were also told by the staff to keep our 3 year old quiet. We understand that compared to perhaps other Korean children, our child can be quite loud. We tried our best to keep him quiet but he is just 3 and simply excited to be there and it was not so nice to feel like we were being watched all the time for our child.

I enjoyed the duplex suite (I’m a sucker for city views). The shower was fabulous! The bedding was firmer than I’m accustomed to, but I did sleep well. I also really appreciated the fully-equipped fitness center. The Emart on the first floor was super convenient as well!
However, the carpet throughout the hotel (my room included) needs replacing. It’s dirty beyond what a vacuum or shampoo cleaning can resolve, because it’s also very worn. For such a stellar hotel design, the carpet is a misfit.
Also, I would recommend cleaning wipes for the fitness center. I made do with my own hand sanitizer, but that wasn’t my preference.
All & all, I had a decent stay & would come back again.

Park Hyatt Busan is located in the Haeundae district of Busan, to the North of Busan Station. Getting here cost about 20,000 KRW by taxi.
While the hotel is located somewhat far from some of the major tourist attractions like Gamcheon village, the amenities and the service of this hotel were absolutely impeccable.
From the moment we alighted from the taxi, porters took our luggage bags and we were whisked to the hotel lobby on the 30th floor. The elevator doors opened to an expansive and impressive view of Busan.
The standard deluxe room was very spacious for 2 persons, clean, and luxurious. Everything felt very modern. The sockets were also international, obviating the need for adaptors. The views from the room were fantastic too. The bathroom comes with 2 sinks, a shower equipped with Le Labo soaps, and a bath tub. The toilet was equipped with a Toto Japanese bidet.
We will definitely return if we are ever back in Busan.

If you come to busan by bus you dont need to have a taxi to reach the hotel get a metro from nopo station line number 1 get off to busanjin come out from station gate exit 7 just walk 5 minutes and you can see your hotel its on the main road ,for visiting places you can use bus and metro from your hotel ” for haeundae beech and gwangan beech use metro get line number 1 change at seomonyeon take line number 2 get off at gwangan station walk 10 minutes and you will be at beautiful gwangan beech and for haeundae beech same line number 2 you can get off haeundae station and walk about 3-4 minutes you will be on haeundae beech, for night clubs from hotel just get line 1 and after 3 station get off seomonyeon station and walk you will be in night clubs street , for the busan cable car and songde beech from the hotel just go infront of the hotel road use bus number #26 which comes every 10 minutes riding time will be around 22-25 minutes from hotel to songde beech by bus#26 , its so easy to use public transport for travelling in busan from hotel prima no need to waste money for using taxi, from the night clubs to hotel you just need to use taxi and its near so not much money you have to spend 9000-10000 won only !!!! Using subway is also very easy everything writen in english and korean so you can see which exit gate you have to use for your particular places ,and for lunch dinner pizza restaurant subway food all are near to hotel ,i found this hotel at best location and i am writing all these because some people come new for travel and before booking they are confused which location we should go for , trust me its comfortable for everything!!! - Location. It is on the busiest street and located in Haeundae so reasonable accessible to most attractions in Busan.
- Space. very spacious.

Cons:
- View. I paid extra for ”partial ocean view” room and there was a huge difference between pictures and reality. Turns out there is only one room that looks like the picture and the other rooms have window-wall on one side that connects to balcony. The window wall had big and bulky window panes that made it impossible to appreciate the view. What is even crazier is, the balcony had a huge STONE WALL so we didn't even have ant view, HALF OF WHAT WE SAW WAS JUST WALL. We could only see the ocean in a very specific angle in a tiny, tiny spot on the bed. Not worth it and I regret booking the room.
- Noise. the buskers sing until late on weekends. Because we were located right above rhe busking spot, we couls hear every word of lyrics with windows closed and could not really hold conversations without raising our voice. We couldn't hear ourselves think.
- Lack of attention to details. inconvenient. shower is not built properly and water doesn't leak; it streams outside the shower. no bidet. hair dryer is weak and smells old
- Understaffed as hell. we checked out at 10:45am, 15 minutes before checkout time and usually the busiest of time at receptions. One staff is dealing with phone calls, arranging taxi rides, overseeing/managing the luggage storage. We really did not feel safe storing our luggage in the lobby with the staff being so distracted and physically unable to see what happens to the luggage, even though it is right in front of reception the queue was blocking the view.
At least the partial ocean view option is not worth the money at all. I feel scammed and strongly recommend other options of similar price range or ocean view hotels near Gwangan-li, since Haeundae is a very touristy region. You'll get burned out after two nights of staying in the neighborhood.

Stayed two nights in Fairfield by Marriott Busan to be close to Marina City for an event in mid October 2024.
📍Location: Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in a less eventful part of Busan. Not the best pick if you want to be where the action is. I have stayed near the Busan train station and in Nampo previously and enjoyed those parts of Busan more.
🚕 Accessibility: it takes about 15 minutes' walk to the hotel (with luggage on uneven roads) from the drop off point at What The Burger which is where the Haeundae Intercity Bus alighted customers from Incheon Airport. The bus journey takes close to 5.5 hours with two rest stops and a stop at Nopo Terminal.
Kakao Taxi fare from Fairfield by Marriott Hotel to Haeundae Intercity Bus Terminal costs about KRW5000-6000.
🛌🏽 Room: No complaints for the price point and what you see is what you get as befitting a Marriott property. There is construction opposite the hotel so paying for the city view on a high floor will avoid that if you are bothered by a construction view. The sea is not nearby so look for another option if that is important.
👣 Amenities: I did read another review about the paper thin room slippers and wisely packed a pair from home.
🍲 Food Options: I arrived at night and didn't find too many food options in the evening as everything seems to be closed early. There are convenience shops nearby and a Paris Baguette a few blocks away.
Hotel breakfast is available at Bistro 314 on Level 2 of the hotel at a discounted rate of 16,500KRW for hotel guests if you book in advance.
🏋️ There is a fitness centre on Basement 1 next to the self service coin laundry.

Stay here if you have business nearby and want to save time travelling but not as a tourist with limited time wanting to explore the best of what Busan has to offer.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is good as it is very close walking distance to shopping streets and the price is affordable. Room is equipped with a smart TV. I did not need to use my travel adaptor as well. Basic toiletries available. However, the bath towel is in face towel size. Clothes hanging area is on top/in front of the dresser. Things to note if staying here. Hotel is located upslope from the streets. (relatively steep) Most of the times (like a 9 out of 10), I was unable to book a taxi from my hotel due to the kakao taxi app prompting that cars cannot enter my area (they will outline the roads on the app to show the roads that cars cannot enter).I had to walk some distance out to another place to book a taxi. However, there was no restrictions to drop off at this address but many times, the driver will also drop me somewhere further away to walk in. Both the guy & lady (seems like lady boss) receptionists seems enthusiastic for a normal conversation but can become rude when we enquire or request for help. I had difficulty switching on the aircon when I first checked in and called for help. They refused to come and help and the instructions was vague as all I can understand was ”the switch is below the TV”. I later found out that it is common for aircon switch to be on the TV remote controller in Korea after I checked in to another hotel. It was after the third call when we flared up that someone came to help. But the help was of course also a rude one. Another thing to note is that they only give one access card and this access card is also the only card that manages the power in the room. If you insert another card in the slot for power, they will switch off your electricity after a while. This means you will not be able to probably sleep/shower in the room if your partner goes out since you will have to be the one to open the door, unless you can stay in the room without any power. You will also not be able to charge your phones/power banks etc while you are out and the refrigeration will also be off. The receptionist have called us via room phone and scolded us for putting a foreign card in. I think this is upsetting as we usually have more than one card in other hotels. The other hotel that I booked in Seoul even had a ready card slotted in for power and we still had 2 cards for access. Another downside: There was some form of leak from toilet bowl area and I cannot make out where its from. There will be a typical pee stench after awhile. Both the automatic bidets and manual bidets did not work in my toilet. I am not sure if this only happens in my room thus this is just for reference. Otherwise my toilet was huge and the water jet was strong. Do note that they allow early check in but it is chargeable. When I reached 2 hours earlier, I was told that their hotel does not have early check in. After asking further, they told me to pay 20,000 won if I want to check in early and I got my room immediately. I would have preferred if they told me from the start that early check in is possible for a fee.

PPengguna TetamuBiliknya besar dan ok. Ia dilengkapi dengan katil bersaiz King. Katilnya keras keras yang membuatkan badan anda sakit apabila bangun tidur, dan tidak selesa langsung. Jakuzi disediakan tetapi tidak berfungsi dan tab mandi bocor.
Hotel tidak menyediakan tuala, sudah bertanya kepada kakitangan tetapi mereka mengatakan mereka hanya memberi tuala muka. Microwave yang terletak di tingkat bawah hotel. Tiada lif sambungan ke tempat letak kereta. Lif sangat berbahaya untuk kanak-kanak, dengan tangan bayi hampir tersangkut apabila dia cuba memasuki lif, tiba-tiba tutup.
