Clean/friendly & safe overall service- they do not provide full bathroom amenities such as hair shampoo/conditioner nor face towels. I was in with a group tour so there were about 35-40 people. They provided dinner which was served hot and table was decorated very lovely- the food was fine-basic average dinner. The bar and the bar maid were exceptionally helpful. She offered & introduced me to a local spirit cocktail & was pleasant to take my order! Breakfast was very minimal- as the table that I went to sit at had no coffee mugs or silverware- and none were at buffet table. The breakfast served its purpose and was ok. This hotel is so conveniently located to lovely eateries/shopping and entertainment- overall I would be very happy staying there again. The front desk service was also very helpful & offered any assistance possible.

This hotel was exactly what we wanted! It was welcoming, friendly, efficient and clean. The rooms were plenty large and clean, and newly decorated. The breakfast was great - plenty of variety and choice, all great quality. We had dinner in the hotel for 3 nights. It was freshly cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. Stefan served us and made us very welcome. All staff were friendly and very competent. Its location was perfect for us. Easy from the port. The tram is very close for getting into Caen so you don’t need to drive. Close to the roads to visit the D-day beaches and other historic sites. We had no complaints and would return

As often happens in hotel room stays, I am not accurate at tossing Kleenex into inconveniently located trash bins. For this I was accused of leaving the room “very dirty” and staining the carpet, and a 50 euro charge was made against my credit card for room damage to “deep clean” the room. When I challenged this, I was sent a video that indeed showed the Kleenex tissue on the floor and a clothes hanger that hadn’t been put back. The video was absent any demonstration of damage or stains. I had declined maid service for the 3 night stay and my sense is that the maid was annoyed that I hadn’t used the trash bin against the wall under the desk, and that I was being punished for this.
