simple room with one queen bed. just nice for 1-2 pax and maybe 1-2 nights. good location and have plenty of parking spaces. i love that they have a good functioning water heater and kettle in the room. would stay again

Stayed for one night at Wendu Inn Hotel, Kota Belud and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Although this is a budget-friendly hotel, the room comes with a large 65-inch Smart TV, which is something I have not even found in some 4- or 5-star hotels in Kota Kinabalu. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The toilet was also clean and in good condition. Another plus point is the convenience of the surrounding facilities. Within the same building area, there is a mart selling essential items at reasonable prices, a stationery shop, a mini café, and a self-service laundry. Public toilets are also available, making the area feel like a small and convenient rest stop for travellers. One thing to note is that the hotel only has one floor and does not have a lift. However, this was not an issue for me, but it may be something to consider for guests who specifically require elevator access. Overall, excellent value for money, clean facilities, and very convenient amenities. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Kota Belud. Rating: 5/5

Had such a pleasant family trip! The view, ambience, facilities, and service were all beyond awesome. Bonus: free breakfast for every room. A huge plus is that the place has its own restaurant, so we didn’t have to head out in the dark for dinner. I tried the nasi goreng tuhau and it was sedap! Prices are really affordable too. I know exactly where I’ll be staying next time I’m in Kundasang.

KK Times Square is the perfect place to stay for anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk across the road to Imago Mall. This makes it incredibly convenient for shopping enthusiasts. One of the best parts about staying here is how easy it is to shop, drop off your purchases in the room, ad head back out for more shopping without any hassle.

This hotel is suitable for an overnight stay if you're catching an early flight after a Kinabatangan River cruise. The room was a bit dark, but everything else was fine. It has a cabin-style vibe with a small garden and a tiny pool. As for breakfast, it's just like a standard budget hotel breakfast, so don't expect too much. The staff were very enthusiastic. The nearby Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC) is very close and worth a visit, and you can also book a night tour there. As for the Sun Bear Conservation Centre and the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, honestly, only go if you're really bored and have money to spare! Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) really misleads people; anyone who goes will regret it. Once you've been, you'll truly understand the quality of the zoos back home. The Sun Bear Centre just cages a few bears. The orangutan centre is no different: everyone sits in a glass enclosure watching a group of monkeys (not orangutans!) eat bananas and vegetables on an outdoor platform – basically watching them ”mukbang.” Then you watch a few orangutans ”mukbang” on another open-air platform. We couldn't bear to watch it. After seeing how wild animals live on the Kinabatangan River, these scenes were just unbearable.

Dlm tu ada d sediakan basic thing seperti mineral water, shampoo, sabun badan, tooth brush, water heater, meja n 2 kerusi. Cermin 1 ja dlm tandas lah tapi. So far so good sbb kwasan tu bnyak tpt makan. Jalan kaki je pn boyeh👍🏻

Impressive facility in the middle of the jungle. The premises are huge with lakes, a restaurant, a large common area, a large pool, different kinds of rooms. They offer night tours of the property and even during the day it's possible to see wild animals and birds. Good breakfast, clean room and very close to the Orangutan and Sunbear centres.

Overall, it is okay. The room is okay but no television provided. My room is a little bit smelly as there is no exhaust fan to 'suck' the air. But it is worth the money you spent.

Leaking toilet water spray, so toilet floor always wet. No comb and tooth brush tooth paste available. No shower soap. Hot water pump is new. The room floor is clean, spacious 2 beds, 2 tables, clean. Just that it is located at 1st floor, no lifts, difficult for elderly. Karaoke at first night a bit noisy. Otherwise strategic locations to looks for food.

Very nice staff. Good location. Clean, Qiet. Peacfull. Ment to stay 2 day, but keep extending my stay. After all I stayed there week. Hostel offering transwers to the Tawau airport for 30 myr.
