The room is clean and tidy and the bed is comfortable too, very good location there are a lots of restaurant and shops by walking distance

I have stayed at this hotel several times because the rooms are generally comfortable and the location is convenient. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with the front desk service have been disappointing and have affected my overall impression of the property. During my most recent stay, the hotel required a RM50 cash deposit upon check-in. As I did not have sufficient cash on hand, I asked whether a credit card or Touch ’n Go payment could be used instead. The male receptionist working the night shift informed me that neither option was accepted, leaving me with no choice but to provide a RM100 cash deposit. Shortly after I completed my check-in and walked away, I could hear him immediately continuing a personal phone conversation in Mandarin. Although he spoke to me in English throughout our interaction, it appeared that he had been engaged in the call before I arrived. This gave me the impression that guest service was not his priority at that moment. What made this more disappointing was that this was the same receptionist I had encountered during a previous stay. On that occasion, he was handling my check-in but stopped midway to settle payment for his food delivery. I was left waiting while he attended to his personal matter and was not informed or even asked to wait. As a guest, I found this unprofessional, as the check-in process should have taken priority. My check-out experience during this stay was also less than ideal. I had extended my stay by one hour, so the deposit refund needed to be adjusted accordingly. The receptionist handling my check-out asked whether I had RM20 cash so that she could return my RM100 deposit more conveniently. Considering that I had already explained during check-in that I did not have sufficient cash, the request felt more like a matter of staff convenience than guest convenience. Throughout the interaction, her body language gave me the impression that she was reluctant or inconvenienced by the situation. When she handed over the cash, I thanked her, but there was no acknowledgement or response. While the correct amount was eventually returned, the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, which was disappointing as it was the final impression of my stay. The hotel itself is decent, with clean rooms, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. However, the front desk team creates the first and last impression of a hotel, and unfortunately the service I experienced fell short of expectations. I hope management can review these incidents and reinforce the importance of professionalism, attentiveness, and prioritising guests during check-in and check-out.

very nice place, with affordable price. happy to stay for 9days.

So far so good and value for money . However no hairdryer or iron available. Air conditioning took some time to cool the room but eventually worked very well. Toilets are big and has good ventilation. Near to visiting places and shops .

Hotel ini bagus, selesa dan dekat dengan R&F serta Imigresen JB. Stesen JB pun dekat dan senang cari makan. Tapi sayangnya, alamat hotel ni masih tak boleh ditemui dengan nama hotel yang sama. Jadi kalau naik Grab atau menukar destinasi, kena guna nama hotel yang lama, iaitu Fives Hotel Meldrum. Nama hotel ni lebih tepat dalam peta lokasi. Kalau cari guna nama hotel sekarang, alamatnya masih tak sama. Jadi anda kena guna nama alamat hotel lama iaitu Fives Hotel Meldrum. Harap nama dan alamatnya diselaraskan supaya senang dicari.

Ia adalah satu kejutan yang menyenangkan untuk mencari penginapan, secepat mungkin kami akan menghabiskan satu malam lagi (apabila kami melihat tapak kami ingin menempah lebih banyak malam, tetapi tidak ada lagi ketersediaan) kemudahan yang bersih, peralatan tempat tidur yang bersih dan bilik mandi yang bersih dengan air panas. Lelaki yang mendaftar masuk kami sangat baik dan menerangkan peraturan penginapan kepada kami dan menerangkan sedikit tentang persekitaran (kedai dan restoran berdekatan) terdapat dapur yang tersedia dan beberapa asas untuk kegunaan percuma (kopi, nasi, minyak.. .) Ia juga mempunyai Wi-Fi dan kipas di dalam bilik (penyaman udara dikontrak secara berasingan, kami tidak memerlukannya, ia bukan malam yang sangat panas. Untuk membuat kesimpulan, tidak mempunyai tingkap (ia tidak mempunyai 2 pengekstrak kecil) ia merasakan sedikit kelembapan di persekitaran, walaupun mengambil kira kawasan dan negara, tiada yang tidak tertanggung Saya telah membayar dua kali ganda untuk tempat yang saya telah pergi, atau saya terpaksa menghabiskan 2 jam membersihkan untuk berasa agak selesa.... Di sini ia tidak perlu, saya pasti akan kembali, tetapi saya akan menempah lebih daripada satu malam... Sekarang saya rasa menyesal terpaksa pergi

This is my favourite hotel when I travel to Kulai. Location is great, near malls, food court and shops. Value for money, staff are awesome.

lokasi hotel yang sesuai dengan perniagaan saya. sangat selesa untuk menghilangkan keletihan. dekat Larkin central, restoran pun tak jauh..harga sangat berpatutan sebab bukan waktu puncak...

I stayed at Havona Hotel @ CIQ Johor Bahru and had a great experience. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are very friendly. The security is good with access control, which made me feel safe. The shared bathrooms are also very clean. It’s a very new hotel, and I really like it.
