Best Western Suites le Jardin Caldas Novas

When I tried to take a shower, as I attempted to close a sliding glass shower door, the tempered glass cracked entirely and began to collapse in my hand. I knew that if I let go of it, it would collapse and shatter into hundreds of pieces of sharp glass. I called my wife for help. She attempted to contact the reception desk four times without success. No one ever answered. The broken box door continued to crack and sway back and forth, while I attempted to hold it steady so it would not collapse. My wife went down to the front desk - no one was there - so ran to a man who was working with valet parking to ask for help. She explained the problem and was told someone would be sent up. By the time my wife returned, by herself, the glass door had completely collapsed and cut my legs and feet in multiple places. I was bleeding but could not move because the floor was covered with broken glass and any step would have caused more cuts on the soles of my feet. Being a surgeon, I was fully aware that continuing in a standing position would increase the bleeding due to gravitational gradients in the leg veins, but I had no other option until my wife arrived and covered the floor with folded towels allowing me to step out. Only after all of this someone from the hotel’s maintenance staff finally appeared and he informed us that this was not the first time a glass shower door had shattered in this hotel. Ten or so minutes later the front desk finally called up to our room and my wife asked the hotel to send someone immediately with a first aid kit to attend to the cuts on my legs. Another 10 minutes later a lifeguard from the hotel’s swimming pool knocked on the door with an antiquated first aid kit that did not contain iodine, alcohol or bandaids. The lifeguard offered to wash the bleeding wounds with suntan lotion. At this point I was compelled to explain that I am a surgeon and would not allow my wounds to be managed by such an incompetent person. Eventually someone else from the hotel sent out to a pharmacy to get the needed supplies. We repeatedly asked to speak to the hotel manager but he never showed up. Furthermore, no one at the hotel would give us his name, despite many requests. It is very clear that no one who came to attend to the situation had the minimal training in service standards or emergency strategies to respond to situations like this. At no point did anyone in the hotel staff have the courtesy to apologize for the incident. On the contrary, to a person, everyone repeated that I was lucky and should be happy that my injuries were not worse. This makes me suspect that previous times shower doors have shattered at this hotel, more severe injuries to guests occurred. Clearly there has been no maintenance in the bathrooms. When we selected a hotel to stay in Caldas Novas, to visit family, we selected the Best Western Le Jardin based on reviews both online and word of mouth that this is the best hotel in the city.

Nossa experiência no Le Jardin foi incrível! Hotel maravilhoso com colaboradores extremamente solícitos, mesmo quando o hotel ficou lotado, pois isso se deu em meio à nossa hospedagem. Nosso gratidão vai desde os manobristas, que fazem mágica pra atender cada hóspede com cortesia, passando pela camareira Lígia, que foi impecável nos detalhes da limpeza e arrumação de cama com suas lindas esculturas com toalhas, até a galera de animação da piscina, Tia Vareta e Tia Núbia, que levam muito a sério e mandam muito bem na hidroginástica. Tambor dou nota 10 pro café da manhã deliciosoe super variado. Nossa gratidão ao Marciel, ao Márcio e toda a equipe incrível. Já estou programando nosso retorno.

Pontos positivos Local super agradável, apartamento e limpeza adequado , restaurante excelente em destaque o café da manhã recomendamos a tapioca da gentil e cordial funcionária que sempre estava com sorriso no rosto. Pontos negativo : falta recreação , bar na piscina na funciona adequadamente , os funcionários do bar da área de lazer deixa a desejar . Café da manhã faltou aumentar variedades durante a os dias . Na parte da piscina Demora recolher as bandeja e copos utilizados na borda da piscina. Os garçons não fica passando próximo as mesas e piscina , ficam centralizado no bar. Piscina precisa de reforma , piscina de hidro na área aberta precisa de manutenção .

Minha experiência pela primeira vez deixou a desejar. Esperava mais desse local, pelas fotos e pelo site parecia ser top. Mas achei as piscinas pequenas e antigas, com piso levantando um perigo pra crianças. serviço de quarto e péssimo. Eu pedi 2 travesseiros no dia que cheguei e depois de ligar 3x nada. No dia seguinte reclamando na portaria nem assim veio. Liguei mais 2x pra conseguir . Toalhas de piscina não fornecem. Tem q usar as mesmas de banho . Aí pede pra trocar tb não troca. TV caí o sinal direto. A comida é média. Cafe igual todo dia. Enfim, minha experiência não foi boa, esperava muito mais.

Tudo muito bom. Desde o check in super rápido, pessoal que guarda o carro solicito, no restaurante garçons rápidos, atendimento eficiente nas piscinas. Atrações legais e as moças da recreação super legais. Ainda destaco a decoração com as toalhas toda vez q as camareiras arrumam, quanto capricho. Equipe le jardin só melhora! Nota mil

Mini- férias super agradáveis em família. Atendimento excelente, funcionários atenciosos e educados. Comida deliciosa, café da manhã com muita variedade e ótima qualidade.Hotel lindo, piscinas sempre muito limpas. Diversão garantida nas aulas da tia Núbia na piscina. Mesmo no meio da semana teve show ao vivo com uma dupla excelente da região. Já queremos voltar.

Hotel grande e bem localizado, com quarto amplo e camas confortáveis. Café da manhã bem servido e variado , com boas piscinas que eram limpas todos os dias a noite. Os funcionários foram bem educados e prestativos e nos ajudaram no que solicitamos.
