Hotel Sant Roc

We were a group of eight people , we eventually ordered drinks after waiting 20 minutes on the terrace overlooking the beautiful View. Another large table came in and left because of the lack of service. The young man behind the counter was very pleasant and so apologetic for the wait as he was trying to serve the terrace and the restaurant, He was doing his best. The restaurant manageress came to see where restaurant drinks were and the poor lad showed her the long line of about 15 orders from the machine as well as the terrace orders and she just walked off and after 45 minutes of waiting I went and asked the lady (i use this term lightly) can she not get anyone to help him as this service was unacceptable , I was polite in doing so . Her answer was the restaurant is busy, well if that is the case they should have closed the terrace to concentrate on the restaurant or get more staff to cover both . she then proceeded to go behind the bar and shout across the terrace “ If you don’t like it you can leave” This is very rude and very unprofessional. We were a table of eight we were also going to order food but decided against this due to her incompetence. Well done to the polite young man behind the bar(pictured )for your

This hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the sea. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bar is well stocked and the morning buffet breakfast is memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this section of the Costa Brava.

The staff at the hotel are exremely accomodating in every way. Another lovely point of the hotel is the lovely scenery from the dining room. El personal del hotel es extremadamente servicial en todos los sentidos. Otro punto encantador del hotel es el encantador escenario desde el comedor

Wonderful Hotel with fabulous views. Close enough to take a quick walk right into town but just far enough away to be out of the main fray The staff was very nice and the rooms are perfect for a short stay. The outdoor breakfast was excellent. I would return again.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful breakfast. Very comfortable though It is an older hotel and the rooms are small but we had a nice balcony with a beautiful view. We were there for cycling. I also had a massage that was lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful, we were able to borrow towels and a beach umbrella to use on the beach and it was easy to get some washing done. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the views from the restaurant breath taking. Rooms were comfortable. Only downside was our room looked over the car park.

Beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a lovely view. We were travelling with bikes and the hotel has a great secure bike storage area. Rooms were clean and housekeeping services were good. The hotel chooses to close the lovely terrace bar between 16:00 and 19:00, which was exactly when we wanted to use it. Breakfast buffet was great. Dinner in the hotel was a very limited menu and of only average quality. The next evening, we had a lovely meal in a restaurant in the town, which is only a short walk away. The hotel seemed to be having some staff shortages in the catering area, perhaps due to illness.

We stayed for a full week and I was sad to leave. It's a glorious hotel in a glorious town and surroundings. Hotel Sant Roc is a family-run operation and it's run like all the employees are part of the family too. AND IT SHOWS! Everyone was welcoming, friendly and hospitable...from the cleaning staff to the front desk staff to the bar and restaurant staff. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!
