Our junior suite was very spacious with a spacious hall and sitting room, big bedroom with separate dressing area with double hand basins, large bathroom, double balcony with chairs and sun beds which had the sun all morning and overlooked the sea. The sunrises over the sea were beautiful. The bathroom had a walk in shower and a double shower over the bath, with bidet and loo. The two hand basins were in a separate room with the spacious wardrobes and safe. We were surprised to be charged 4 euros a day for the use of the safe. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. The sitting room had two comfortable leather chairs , big table with four dining chairs, coffee table, fridge, big tv, kettle and coffee machine. There was a vase of fresh flowers in the room when we arrived. Housekeeping was good and the towels and bathrobes were good. We were all inclusive and the self service restaurant had a wide choice of food. The ambience was a bit noisy and clattery, and it was sometimes difficult to avoid having to make multiple trips to and from the table to gather plates, cups, and even spoons which for some reason were not put out on the tables with the knives and forks. The result felt like a cafeteria rather than a restaurant. The quality of the food was good, the bread and croissants were very good, the cooking , carving and serving of the meat and fish not always as good. On the last night we ate in La Nonna restaurant and had good Italian food in a warmer and more welcoming ambience. The bar area was pleasant and the bar staff friendly. The all inclusive drinks were limited, for example the only wines included were house wines. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were always available from machines in the bar. The outside pool areas were spacious with plenty of sun beds. We were surprised to be asked for 10 euros to use the Bali beds. The gardens were well kept with monarch butterflies amongst the bougainvillea skirting the banks of the little streams with little bridges and walkways. There is a tennis court and a beach volleyball court. Just outside the hotel gardens there was an easy walkway leading north along the bay to the town Caletta de Fuste going alongside the lovely sandy beaches. The peaceful walk took us about half an hour with no cars within sight, just the odd velo scooter and bicycle on the separate cycle track. Walking back in the late afternoon we caught the lovely sun sets behind the hotel. There is a supermarket in the shopping centre about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. This hotel is the last in the line, so to the south the walkway petered out just past the hotel, but you could continue walking beside the sea along the rougher paths. Taxis to and from the town cost less than 5 euros.
