The room and hallways were outdated and retro but still clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had a bizarre issue with the check-in where the front desk tried to tell us our reservation had been cancelled months prior, which was not true. We didn't cancel our reservation, and if they did on their end they never notified us of it. In fact, I was still receiving emails about checking in for my reservation the day before we arrived, so it was very stressful and confusing to get there and be told our reservation was cancelled months ago. Luckily they still had rooms for us, but still. Get your reservation and notification system sorted out.

The hotel was nice and in a great location. The restaurant food was excellent and so were the bartenders. The spa area was excellent and had a nice view as well.

The hotel is fairly dated and you can see they tried to do some updates but they were done very poorly, making it look more rundown. That isn't, however, what inspired me to write this review. The absolutely worst part about staying in this hotel was the check-in experience. My brother and his children were meeting up with us to go to the Olympic Park and had made it to the hotel before us. I started checking in and had talked to them so the lady checking me in knew we were together. Without us asking or saying anything about swimming she decided we needed to know that they were not guests and couldn't swim in the pool because and I quote ”this isn't a public swimming pool”. So lecture about swimming aside, my 10 year old daughter walked up to the desk and didn't say anything and the lady said to her, ”Is there a problem?” I looked over at my mother and gave her a look as if to say 'what is going on here' and the lady I think got the hint that she had went to far so tried to explain it away by saying my daughter was staring at her and she thought she had questions. So weird and such a negative experience. Honest opinion: this place is a dive and the staff (the one we met anyways) are rude. Don't stay here.

Renovated facility that offered a pleasant surprise. We spent the night there prior to flying out of YCC. They offered to keep our vehicle there for the week that we were gone for at a very reasonable rate and provide shuttle service to the airport in the early am for our departure. Staff went above and beyond when the shuttle was not available and had a prepaid cab ready waiting to take us to the airport that morning. On our return late at night a similar situation at the airport were the shuttle wasn’t available a cab was provided to take us back to the hotel late at night. They provided a wonderful full meal breakfast voucher in their restaurant so we left in the morning happy on a full stomach. Can’t say enough good things about the front counter staff. Will be there again soon.

Our flight departing Calgary was cancelled for 24 hours so we were put up in this hotel by the airline. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, special shout out to Stacey in the lounge who worked so hard to make sure everyone whose flight was cancelled was fed and full of drinks! Also special shout out to the chef that night, he was alone and still managed to get all the delicious food out in a timely manner! These two really stepped up and made our rather gloomy stay much more enjoyable! The rooms were clean and comfortable, big soft pillows on the beds and you could control your own room temperature. The front desk staff also accommodated a late check out for us as we had so much time to waste the next day. Thank you to the staff, you’ve really worked hard to turn our trip around!

While this Executive Residency hotel is considered an airport property due to its proximity, it also provides easy access to Cross Iron Mills, the largest outlet mall, the downtown core and the QE II Highway.
We are an airport property, with proximity to the urban center, but in a somewhat suburban setting. Amenities include a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub area, well-equipped fitness center, and meeting space for 150 people. There is a full-service restaurant offering a full complimentary hot breakfast for the guests or a grab and go option for breakfast as well. In the evenings we offer a quiet drink at the bar with snacks or a full course dinner in our beautiful restaurant. There is a covered, heated grill area on the lower level for barbecues and an upper deck off the restaurant with a gorgeous city view.
In addition, the hotel offers affordable rates and luxury accommodations, and is a perfect choice for the business or leisure guest as well as tour groups.

Stayed here for business - great location to the airport and only a 20 minute UBER ride to downtown. The Hotel pays for your taxi to/from the airport. Really nice suite, would be good for a party of 3 or 4 even. Complimentary Continental breakfast included - not spectacular but good enough to fill the gap. Restaurant in neighbouring hotel opens at 4pm, so no place to eat close by until then. I'll stay here again for sure.

The hotel is new, beautiful and well located. The breakfast room is impressive with its size, tall ceilings, views and terrace. The breakfast itself is great with its variety, including waffles and a delicious South Asian(?) vegetable stew each day. The suites are large and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. Now if only the staff could treat customers a bit better.
We paid $30 for underground parking, which was important to us because we got an upgraded rental car and were liable for it. On the second day, the garage was completely full, with more cars entering the garage - thanks to a broken capacity indicator that permanently shows 208 spaces.
Staff basically blamed it on the fact that the garage is a private facility unrelated to the hotel. They sent us to two nearby surface lots. One was only available till 8:00 at a cost of $22.52. The second one was a dirt field.
1. I don’t care whose lot it is. You sold me access to it at an extortionate price and did not mention any other options, implicitly endorsing it.
2. Don’t sell more spaces than you have, especially at that price.
3. Know and explain options. Don’t direct your customers to a lot that only sells space till 8:00 for over 3 times the price as the next lot. You are wasting my time.
Then at 4:00 am, we were woken up by a loud motor noise coming from the fridge. We had to move it and unplug it (it’s a full size fridge, not a hotel fridge). The clerk’s reaction? “Sorry about that, I’ll tell maintenance.”
We had one night parking taken off the bill. No consideration for the hassle both from the parking and the fridge.
You can do better. Better policies, better communication and a bit more generosity.
Overall, not a good experience.

PPengguna TetamuA warm welcome greeted us at the Brother li homestay. A beautiful house on a quiet suburban street in NW Calgary. Comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen and communal areas. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Had a lovely chat with the lady owner who was so friendly and accommodating.

KKathyWe loved our experience at The Dorian! Room was beautiful with so many details covered. Bathroom was huge (hard to find these days) and we especially loved the details in the wet bar cart. Service was friendly from check in to check out. We did not eat on site, but the location was in walking distance to our dinner date. Only negative was the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallway at 9 am for about 20 minutes. I should have let them know their voices carried into our room, but instead didn't say anything...I regret that after the fact. All in all, we had a great time and will for sure book at the Dorian again!

PPengguna TetamuWe better not Jed the hotel for a night to attend a concert. It would have been a long walk to the Saddledome and it was very cold so we took a taxi. It cost $15.00 one way which would have been the cost to park our vehicle at the Saddledome.
The breakfast in the morning was a continental breakfast with plenty of everything.
Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

PPengguna TetamuMy family stayed here for one night upon our arrival in Calgary since our flight wasn't scheduled to arrive until 10 pm and we were heading out to Banff the next day. It was a good thing that we did as our checked luggage got delayed for a day and it took a until 1130 pm until we were able to arrive at the hotel due to the paperwork involved. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from baggage claim. Our first impression upon check in was that it was a modern hotel with good service. We quickly checked in and then came back down to try to grab some dinner. Last call at the restaurant was at 11:45. Only a limited menu was available since the kitchen had already started cleaning up, so we ordered a burger, fish and chips, a reuben, and a salad. After a 10 minute wait, the food came out and it was really good. Everything was cooked very well, and even my wife who doesn't like salad, wanted more salad. I would rate the restaurant as a place worth visiting as a standalone restaurant. The next morning, my kids had a complementary breakfast due to my titanium status which they enjoyed as well. My wife went down later and had the salmon and another salad which she ate every single bite of. The hotel is also located right next to the car rental counters so it was a 2 minute walk to get our rental car when we left for Banff. I highly recommend this airport hotel when you are in Calgary and be sure to eat at the restaurant. We're planning to stop in for a bite before our departing flight.

CChengMy stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North was fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it perfect for travelers. I loved the free shuttle service, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the new coin laundry facilities, which were super convenient during my stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options to start the day right. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through Calgary!

They also helped me get a new room key card when mine wasn’t working properly. The hotel is also in the heart of downtown and close to a C-Train station.

PPengguna TetamuEverything was great - clean rooms, comfy bed, great breakfast, convenient shuttle to airport, very friendly and helpful staff - EXCEPT, in a hotel with “no smoking “ signs all over, we opened our room and were greeted by a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. We arrived after midnight and had to leave early, so I did not request a different room, and boy do I regret that decision. I had the worst night of sleep ever- the smoke smell was so strong. So if you plan to stay here, be sure you don’t get room 217, and ask if the room you are assigned was ever a smoking room. That’s all I can figure is what happened here. I would be very leery of staying here again based on what happened, and in spite of all the nice amenities the hotel offers.

PPengguna TetamuIt's ok for a few nights. The room was a bit dusty and it smelled of cigarette smoke in the bathroom all the time. But I guess you get what you pay for, the price is reasonable. The staff are polite welcoming and willing to help. The place is a 5-minute walk from some restaurants, banks and the Sunridge mall.
