Innside by Meliá Wave Calviá

My stay at the hotel was very nice. Generally, I liked everything about the hotel, and I don’t really have any big negatives to mention. The hotel is located a little away from Palma city, in a cute little village. You’d want to stay at this place if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation near the beach and enjoy nature. There are a few nightclubs and bars in the village for some fun and partying, but overall, I found the area pretty quiet. If you need to get to Palma, you can take a bus - the bus station is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and it takes around 40 minutes to get to Palma, depending on traffic, which can be heavy at times, making the trip closer to an hour. I also used Uber a few times, and one-way rides cost between €19-28, depending on the time of day, traffic, and the part of Palma you’re heading to. The hotel is located right next to the beach. It has a very nice rooftop area on the lobby level (2nd floor if I remember correctly) with a swimming pool and plenty of sun chairs. There’s also a bar next to the pool for drinks. My check-in process was easy and smooth. Before arrival, I requested a room on a high floor with a nice view, and I got exactly what I wanted. Plus, I was allowed to check in early, around 1 p.m. My Loft Junior Suite with Sea View (#521) was very nice and modern looking - I absolutely loved its design. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. All the furniture was in great condition. I loved the big balcony windows that let in plenty of daylight. Having a small balcony was a plus - I enjoyed sitting out there and admiring the beautiful sea view. The hotel provided beach amenities like a beach mattress and towels, and I absolutely loved the cute, comfortable slippers they provided as well. Having a small kitchen was another plus. It had all the necessary amenities, and the refrigerator was pretty big, fitting a lot of stuff inside. The closet was a bit small, and I didn’t really like its location in the kitchen corner. The bed (two Queen beds together) was comfortable, but the sofa was hard and awful - I didn’t even like sitting on it for long periods. The bathroom was quite big, and I liked its design a lot. The bathroom amenities were of very good quality. But I must mention that the water pressure in the shower and toilet wasn’t very strong. The Wi-Fi worked well in my room, but I had a weak connection in many other parts of the hotel. As for the downsides, the biggest issue for me was the annoying housekeeping staff who came into my room once, even though I had a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on. Their excuse was that they needed to change the table on the balcony, but I ended up with the exact same table. Weird! Another annoyance was some kind of furniture moving or renovation work happening during my stay. Every day workers were using the elevators to move things, which meant the elevators were full, and I had to wait a long time to get one. A few times, I had to take the stairs instead. On the po

We have recently returned from 4 nights at this hotel. We are 2 families with young babies (both under 1 ). Before we were due to go out we read a few of the reviews and it worried us to say the least so thought I would leave a review with what we thought about our stay. Food We found the food to be lovely. At breakfast there was plenty of choice and everything seemed fresh. I also told one of the staff about me having a milk allergy and the chef made me some bread without milk. I thought this was great as many places are not as accommodating. We also had a few pizzas, wings and fries round the pool which were all lovely too. Pool After reading a few reviews about them charging 100euros per day for a lounger we were a little worried. But we found that the free loungers were so close and just 5 steps up to the pool which we didn’t mind (maybe because we had young babies so they could only come in with us anyways). Also after the first day we realised it was 100 euros min spend on the loungers round the pool. Which we would have spent the day before on food and drink anyways so wasn’t as bad as we thought. Room Rooms are lovely. Light airy and cleaned daily. We found the slippers and daily pool towels handy too. Nightlife The nightlife of magaluf ***** is what worried us the most as when we first booked we don’t realise how close it was. Maybe it was because we went mon-fri but we had no bother apart from the last night where there were a few loud noises from people getting back from a night out around 2am. It seemed pretty quiet other than that. Overall I thought it was a great hotel in a great location. Magaluf have some lovely restaurants and bars along the beach and just a short walk to palma nova too. We are already thinking of going back.

Just returned from a holiday family trip and decided to leave a review about the hotel. First of all, if you are with kids, it's not suitable at all, no facilities for kids, even no pool for kids. Second, why should I pay extra 100 euros just for sitting next to the pool? Taking into consideration the fact that I paid a pretty big amount for my stay at the hotel. Third, for going to the beach, you have to pass through a shop and a restaurant and "enjoy" eyes on you of the sitting and eating people. Why there is a no separate gate for just entering the hotel? Forth, I can understand that in many hotels breakfasts are usually the same every day, but it was really not even worth going as we stopped eating in hotel after the 3rd day of our stay. Finally, the cleaning service needs to be improved as they often skipped to do so or coming to clean the room in the very early in the morning and if you ask to come later they never come back. The only positive thing was the room size and hotel location.

The most terrible hotel. Especially the rooms near the reception. At any moment, running children change the signs and no one cleans your place. Music is constantly playing, there is no rest and silence!!! The family room is something, there is nothing to breathe in a small lump. The audibility is perfect, you can hear the neighbor plugging the charger into the outlet. There's nothing to do with children here. The networks are just a huge disadvantage . No points are awarded.

I recently stayed at Innside by Melia Wave Calvia and had a pleasant experience. The hotel overall was okay, not bad at all. The breakfast offered was basic but satisfactory. We reserved a room with a sea view, and it was absolutely amazing. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service provided by Imad. He helped us with everything we needed and made our stay fantastic. A big applause to him! I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back soon this season.

It was a bit hard to find the entrance of the parking of the hotel due to a lack of signage. Once at the reception desk, i had the opportunity to speak with Mr Alvaro Losada the hotel director who explained to me he ordered this panel couple of months ago and was waiting for it. The reaction of the manager and his team to compensate this situation was just amazing of hgh professionalism, empathy and offers. The hotel location is fantastic, just in front of a beautiful beach with easy access to all facilities, including children area and restaurants. The personnel is friendly and the room was cleaned up every day and beach towels were provided daily. The area can be very crowded during the summer high season with lots of young people who are partying, this can be noisy in the center, but if you stay along the beach side you are better of to enjoy some quiet time. It was a very good experience and recommend to all people looking for a comfortable hotel with all the best facilities including swimming pools (one for small children) and area, The rooms with seaview are breathtaking.
