Exagon Park

We booked this place back in February for a family of 8 including Grandparents. The hotel’s location was brilliant and about a 5 minute walk to the local beach. The pool was large and the grounds vast allowing you to choose a sun-bed without fuss or having to reserve it with a towel. The food was plentiful and something for everybody and I have no complaints. I want to mention the hotel receptionist who helped me in my hour of need. I collapsed in the bathroom and required an ambulance and they were brilliant. The collapse had nothing to do with the hotel but their support and care was excellent. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have recommend this hotel to my sister and her family because it is ideal. The rooms are a little dated but to be honest we spent very little time in them. I also wish that a kettle could have be supplied and a working fridge in room 450 but that’s a small thing. The hotel entertainment was good and not overpowering and it felt just right. Can Picafort was excellent and felt loved and cared for.

This is my 11th year of visiting this beautiful place. All the reception staff know me and my family very well. The food in the hotel is amazing, so much variety and healthy options - salads soups. Every evening meal was a different themed night so added more variety which I loved. The bar staff and restaurant staff as always really nice and helpful, always attending to your needs. The cleaners were very nice, greeting every guest every day which I love. They would do an amazing job getting the rooms clean every day. It is in an amazing location, only 5 minute walk to the promenade which I would do every day as my daily exercise. A daily train, the ting ting, stops right outside the hotel which is very convenient for people to go to the shops in Can Picafort. However, this is where the negatives come in. Firstly the rooms, they are very out dated and need to be updated, the water pressure coming out the tap, not the shower, was very low. Barely a dribble of water, I could have complained but I had the water from the shower or the foot shower so wasn't really a big issue. The TV in the rooms had barely any English channels that I could watch, there was only BBC1 and 2 movie channels but spend nearly 10 to 15 minutes on the break. It needs more English channels. The bed needs an extra pillow as it only had 1 pillow and sometimes would feel uncomfortable sleeping. The hygiene in the restaurant is lacking. Nearly every day, I would be sitting having my breakfast lunch or dinner, and I would look over at the food and see flies crawling all over it. Someone could get seriously ill. Also, one day, I was having my dinner, eating into some pasta, and bit into a stone, I was about to swallow it, thankfully I noticed it and removed it. Following on from Emma C’s review, just want to thank all the staff at the hotel but especially Maude and her entertainment team, Chris, Luke and Petra who’s energy and boundless enthusiasm made my 60th birthday celebrations with my family something we will all never forget. Amazing week, thank you.

Fabulous stay as always. Spotlessly clean, friendly, helpful staff and a lovely family holiday we have each year! The staff make this hotel, a fantastic job by all and we felt at home. Mauds entertainment team Luke, Chris, and Petra are fun and encourage everyone to join if you want - we did everyday. Loved the Bingo especially!!! The waiters and bar staff, find us tables and know our orders - too many to name, we felt very relaxed. Receptionist helpful and friendly. Yes, rooms dated but clean, comfortable and we slept well, the maids do a fantastic job and always say hello. Evening meals are busy, but we never went hungry and always a varied choice, themed nights etc and love the individual desserts - no waste then - like this idea. Evening entertainment or take a 30mins stroll along a lovely promenade into town ( taxi back only 7 euros family of 4). 10 mins walk to local shops and to the beach, very nice. Trip to Alcudia on Sunday for market day, or Can Picafort on a Friday. Plenty to see and do, we can't complain sixth time says it all really! Thank you to all, see you next year!

If you know me then you will know I'm the most hardest to please. Working in customer service management all my life, I know good and bad service, its made me quite demanding sometimes and very critical. We arrived at Exagon Park on Monday morning at 2am july 1st having flown late sunday night . Despite this the Spanish looking [can't remember name) young man on reception couldn't have been calmer and more helpful, I was running around tired and stressed, he calmed me down, helped us to our room and I've gotta say quite amazing at this late hour. We were travelling with my partner and two teenage girls. He gave us water, ran around making sure we had all we needed and I was very impressed. The hotel is immaculate, I struggled to find any dirty areas, the cleaner was lovely came daily if wanted.you just pop your card on the door, new towels and a clean floor, fabulous. Food is varied different days for different daily, Asian , Chinese, Italian , All types, the restaurant staff have it run like a military operation, never without food, replaced bowls straight away, so many breads at breakfast I lost track, juices, lovely coffee, all that you was expect from a buffet style menu, chef on hot plate cooking your eggs, omelet Fish, simply perfect One negative they need to find a good sausage supplier, the ones they have have no taste and very bland...my partner missed a decent sausage. The girls had no problem finding things to eat, their were very happy with the choices on offer. The pool is lovely and large surrounded by trees and 1 0 minute walk to a most beautiful beach surrounded by great bars and shops. The evening entertainment was great, I love the soul group, acrobatics, magician, singers , it was endless, kids entertainment with dancing and singing bingo and stuff going on in the day. They had a sax player on in the bar one night very enjoyable. The reception staff at this hotel are incredible, how they manage to smile every day and keep going is beyond me, they are inundated every second from phone calls to queries. but they can't do enough, I fell on a walk and hurt my knee the lady at reception got me ice in a napkin and made sure I was ok, she didn't have to, but she went out of her way. For someone that finds fault in everything I just couldn't here, I was so overwhelmed at their kindness and care they give to all customers I can only applaud them . We all loved our stay here, their are a few steps down to the restaurant but their is a great lift down to the poolside. Their is something for everyone and plenty of trips into Alacudia and a local.bus we took, make sure you go to the Sunday old town market in Alacudia It's fabulous.. Well done Exagon you are simply brilliant xxx
