JS Ca'n Picafort

Muy buena ubicacion, cuenta con una muy bella piscina, PERO en la habitacion que me ha tocado el aire acondicionado no daba mucho frio y eran los ultimos dias de Julio que ha hecho mucho calor.

The positives for this hotel are. It's on a beautiful location right on the beach. Lovely clean spacious foyer on entrance very smiley, pleasant helpful young man (in his 30s) dealt with my check in efficiently. He also asked if I needed help to my room as I was on crutches with a bag and case. It has a lovely area outside the front of hotel to sit and relax with a drink with fantastic views. The negatives.....Ok I'm a solo traveller and I pay a supplement and the reason being is because there is usually a double bed or 2 singles in the room. And they lose out on another guest paying and staying in the room, hence solos pay extra. But my room was tiny and only had a single bed so it was wrong to charge me a supplement as i wasn't in a double occupancy room. Yes i booked through a third party and I know they do that. Someone said if i book direct with the hotel i wouldn't have had to of paid a supplement. I looked at the hotel website they would also of charged me extra as a solo even though it only consisted of a single bed. Bedside table was just a round table with no drawers, no drawers in the wardrobe or under the desk. Toilet was dirty on the under side of the seat (not rust) photo added. Took photo and showed the receptionist and was cleaned the next day. View from my balcony was a wall and another balcony. No glass or disposable plastic one in the bathroom as there normally is. The next day I asked the man behind the bar if I could have a glass for my room please as I needed one for water to take my tablets with. He refused to let me have one so I ended up going out and buying my own. I really am not a fussy person and do not expect 5 star in a 3 star hotel but it would be nice to have half decent food to eat. It was either dry tepid or cold and not very nice at all. Just one example of this was the lady who was replenishing the food and sorting it out in the restaurant brought some slices of cooked beef out with a sauce on. As i helped myself straight away i expected it to be nice and hot, Wrong, it was cold and tough just like the other Meats and veg at other meal times. Some of the staff were nice and polite some were not. A smile goes a long way. It would be wise to take a leaf from the Js Portocolom hotel in Palma which I stayed at last year and will be returning to again later this year.

Given a room for 3 adults far to small asked for room move offered one for more money nightly. It was a very small double room for two people. They said it was a promotional room. Never heard of it and i work in hospitality. We asked for a family room they said they didnt have family rooms. But families were booked in The food was not great either. Green beans and chick peas for breakfast. We didnt find the staff that nice either. Would i go back not at all. It was a lovely location such a shame

Excellent customer service. Made to feel welcome. Pedro was incredibly accommodating in enabling me to change my room. Room included a fridge, which is always a necessity. Rosa was also very lovely in ensuring that my room remained nice and clean. Would certainly return.

Excellent hotel on the beach, the view from the balcony to the sea is simply gorgeous. The room was cleaned every day, the room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, the bed linen was white and the towels too. The hotel staff is polite, friendly, helped with any questions. The food at the hotel is ok, as for a 3 * hotel. There are a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby, there is a place to take a walk, an excellent promenade. Near the bus stop, you can go for a walk in other places, although there was everything you need. we went once to the water park by bus - it was great

For the price we paid for 4 nights in this hotel I think is way too expensive to what we got. 1 - water pressure, during showering is whether cold or hot water with strong slow intervals every 10 sec, no way you can have normal bath time, water from the taps is salty. Breakfast with no fresh orange juice or other fresh drinks (Turkey vibes), dinner very poor not to mention £3.50 for bottle of simple water or Coca-Cola. On the second night there was massive bug in our room as well which made me scared for the rest of our stay as I keep wondering how many of them is in the room. Good things - Very good location, breakfast also was nice but the most important I think is staff - very helpful and will try to help you if you need anything, very warm people.

The location was outstanding! We got a fantastic view from the balcony even though we didn’t book a room with a view! The breakfast was ok but the fact that there was a non pleasant smell of food and detergents in the restaurant and that the terrace was terribly hot in the morning was a problem. Only one small elevator that also was broken once was a minor problem as well. More hooks on the room, please! We had wet towels all over the place… And why this idea of a pool card that you have to get from the reception every time you want to swim instead of letting the guests get one for the whole stay!? You have to pay for the security box, no good :-(

We had half bored, sea view room from 12 to August 19th For the room, everything is fine as a 3 stars hotel Sea view is perfect Noise cancelling is perfect AC is perfect Breakfast and dinner is perfect

We stayed for 6 days here...right on seafront. Close to everything. We chose a sea view but hadn't realised no sun on the balcony so if you love the sun choose a side sea view. Room was fine, cleaned daily. Bathroom was compact but clean..we had major issue with shower as it was not the correct shower head and shot water off end of the bath which also had no shower curtain at the end ! So we had many wet towels and soaking floors.We complained many times and were promised maintenence would sort....didn't happen. It was even written in maintenance log to register complaint ! So this was a big issue to us..we had to hold curtain across as each of us showered!! But all in all, this was a lovely hotel and if they had sorted this bathroom problem it would be a 5* review.. staff were very pleasant.. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice..
