I would like to thanks chef Jonathan for excellent service and the service we received were beyond expectations ,chef Mathieu too beyond expectations as husband was not well and I ask him if possible that we could have soup yes very healthy my husband is well enough to get out and about also Mr Dicken excellent service and beyond expectations thank you and special thanks for the waiters Antish and Aakash excellent service have cause we can't asked for anything that was not to much for them special the lady name Eloon service excellent Jamie thanks for the medication you gave my husband ,hotel very nice foods excellent room with a wonderful view 💯 happy stay in suffen. Small family orientated hotel. Perfect location. 5 minutes walk to a shopping mall and 10 minutes to the beach. Friendly staff who are very helpful. The rooms are cleaned most days to a high standard. Our room , more like an apartment. had an en-suite, kitchenette with cooking facilities, sofa, TV, dining table, and fridge, and a balcony with table and chairs. Lovely small pool with plenty of sun loungers . Perfect for small families and couples. We would love to stay there again.

Excellent hotel, just a short walk from the beach, bus stop and shops There are also 3 swimming pools on site, with comfortable loungers. Beach towels are provided. Rooms are spacious, with a balcony as well. Our room had a safe and aircon . Free wifi was provided in all areas. A space is also available, with reasonable prices for treatments. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel also arranged excursions for us, at a cheaper rate than tour operators. Breakfast and dinner were buffets, with a range of food to suit everyone. We were so comfortable at this hotel. It was sad to leave at the end of our stay. Looking forward to returning.

My stay at L'Oiseau was perfect. The room was nice, the shower had hot and cold water, breakfast was good and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely try to return in the future. There's even a suana and a pool. And they gave me a welcome glass of juice when I arrived.

Love this hotel! We checked out yesterday after an 11 night stay. The staff here are excellent. Special mention to Jay, Yash and Shubnam, as well as the Chef at Kot Nou whose name we didn't catch. Buy everyone is friendly and efficient. The hotel is beautiful, and the beach is stunning. Great all inclusive package with watersports included as well as being able to eat and drink before checkin and after checkout. I was happy to be able to actually stand on the SUP first time and would never have tried it if it wasn't included. We also did a catamaran trip which was great though it rained a bit and crossing was choppy, wouldnt recommend if you get seasick! We had a lovely massage at the spa too. The rooms are spacious and always cleaned well. The bed is a bit hard but not an issue for us, the aircon in our room wasn't very powerful, though again not a massive issue as it wasn't super hot. Great wildlife in the grounds, lizards, pretty birds and even a fruit bat one night. The stray cats and beach dogs are looked after. The food was generally good, occasionally some things had gotten a bit too cool but they also serve fresh food at the back which is always great. We really enjoyed Taba J and Kot Nou especially having something special made for us on our second visit to Kot Nou. Plenty of drinks choice. The no single use plastic policy is great, and we also did a short beach clean which is a really good thing to do, though I don't think many guests do it. The hotel is quiet and chilled (mostly!) with more French guests than other nationalities but that was no issue since everyone is bilingual. I liked getting our minibar stuff from the shop. The only slight niggle would be the confusing situation with the shower and toilets by the reception which could be managed better. Tip would be to let people in with the key rather than leave open, and if you're using them do call out before entry! There isn't much around the hotel, a couple of tiny shops about 10 mins walk then Perybere is another 15 min walk..the bus is super cheap though slightly alarming! We went on trips to the South which were amazing especially feeding the tortoises at Vanille park, Charmerel waterfall, and the statues at Grand Bassin definitely a must see. Mauritius is stunning and the hotel is excellent.

You need to manage your expectations when you book a stay at Oceans Villas. You might have watched the YouTube videos showing the hotel. But it's fair to say that these videos show the icing on the cake and not the core ingredients. If you saw two South Africans touring the hotel, be warned that they've shown the best parts and avoided showing the worst parts. It's a 3 star establishment. And that means you're going to have to put up with a property that was built circa 1980s. There were signs of wear and tear everywhere. As you walk through the front door, some parts of the villas needed a bit of filler and a lick of paint. Some of the furniture had seen better days and our shower door leaked every time we took a shower. But the villa was clean. The beds were comfortable and the villa had amenities that you wouldn't expect such as a safe, hair dryer and a microwave too. A bottle of mineral water was also provided on arrival and parking outside the villas was a nice touch. As for the grounds, the gardens are kept well. It's not going to blow you away but again it's 3 star. The swimming pool didn't look as clean as we'd like and we opted not to go for a dip. The cushions on the seats were littered with stains from previous guests spilling drinks and food. The beach was decent. The view out to the bay was spectacular and you certainly won't be disappointed. You can swim but when we stayed, the sea was choppy but that's not the hotel's problem. What's great about Oceans Villa is its position. You're only 5 minutes away in a car from the best public beaches. Namely Trou aux Biches, Mon Choisy, Pereybere and La Gaulette. So you're spoilt for choice. We'd like to praise the service at the hotel. The kitchen staff and serving staff were really accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was particularly good, and you'll certainly be tapping your toes and most likely dancing. Lastly the food. One word MSG. There's a good selection of food but too much MSG added to the food. Every morning, we woke up to that awful salty taste on our tongues. So as you can gather there's some good parts to Oceans Villas but you're going to have to put up with some bad parts. if you're on a budget and happy to stay in a 3 star establishment where you can experience the beaches in the North, it's a good place to stay. Would we stay there again? I'd most likely opt for a self catering apartment. We felt for the money, we'd get better quality of facilities but then again we'd have to prepare our food.

It’s always an amazing experience to sip a delicious coffee and pastries at the Coffee Lounge in an elegant setting. The best part is that the staff are always at your service, ready to make the experience even better. They always go to the extra mile.
