GGuangdongshenghuilaojiaOur room was upgraded to a Moon View room, which was quite spacious. Even though it was on a high floor, the view was expansive and didn't feel confined at all.
**Amenities**: The room felt new and well-equipped. The water pressure was strong, the air conditioning was powerful, and the bed was comfortable.
**Cleanliness**: It was very clean; none of the bug or dirt issues others mentioned (as someone who fears bugs, I slept soundly for a night!). The bathroom didn't have any strange odors, and the shower didn't pool water.
**Environment**: The surroundings were absolutely wonderful, giving off a vibe reminiscent of those ancient, mythical towns seen in TV dramas. So, I was fine with the uphill and downhill walks; after all, that's part of the experience. However, Yangxian Village is a bit further from the main scenic area than Xianxiu. Both guesthouses have rooms that require some climbing. (The room was actually quite easy to find. The first two digits of the room number indicate the building, and the last two are the room number. There are usually signposts along the way, so just follow them, and you'll get there).
**Service**: The service was excellent. As soon as we arrived, someone helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. We could ask the housekeeper any questions, and they were always helpful. When we had a minor issue with the room, someone was quickly sent to fix it. Most of the staff had great service attitudes.
**Breakfast**: The breakfast included with our Ctrip booking was a buffet, and it was plentiful and tasty.
**Tickets**: The room essentially included two-day admission tickets for two people. We could even stay and enjoy the park until closing time on the day we checked out, so the room rate wasn't expensive at all when you factor that in.
**Parking**: We were lucky enough to find a parking spot in the nearby lot, right in front of the guesthouse's main building. The more distant parking lot requires a shuttle bus.
**Scenic Area**: Personally, I found it quite enjoyable. There's rafting, beautiful mountain and water scenery, local snacks, performances, and interactive games. The level of commercialization was just right – not overly chaotic or noisy, and it wasn't old or dirty; it was very clean and tidy. The air smelled fresh, and the night view was truly stunning!
