What makes a top hotel is a combination of great product and great service and this hotel truly has both! I had memorable family weekend celebrating my mother's birthday. The hotel has plenty of free parking and we were greeted by very friendly and responsive staff when we arrived. Both my status and benefits were acknowledged as an IHG One Rewards member. The spotlessly clean rooms were spacious with good sized balconies to enjoy the sunlight and sea views, and the beds were excellent. Cocktails at the bar are a must and don't miss their fantastic breakfast (my sister-in-law is still talking about it!) The staff went above and beyond in making this birthday memorable and special so a massive thank you to Natacha and her team and to Sara who is the type of hotel staff that keeps guests coming back - and we will!!

Stayed here one week during Easter. Very modern and clean hotel with friendly staff. Huge swimming pools inside and outside. Two saunas. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Comfy beds. Good base to explore Lisbon and South of Portugal. Would stay here again. Beautiful view. Beach not far.

We loved every minute of our stay there, this had become our hotel in Lisbon for the last 2 years Great newly refurbished hotel, located on a hill overlooking the ocean and the Lisbon golf. Rooms are fairly sized (circa 35sqm), and half are facing the ocean view. The staff is very friendly, available, and helpful. The hotel has plenty of free parking, and 1 heated 25m long pool, a spa, a 20 m external pool, next to a bar and a kids wadding pool. The rooms are well insulated, you can't hear a noise and spotless This hotel is just pure serenity, despite being locates 26mns drive from the center, I prefer to stay here and relax and drive RT to the city.

Arrival and Check in 3/5 On arrival we were not really helped with our luggage. The lady didn’t recognise our diamond status. After I reminded her that I would like the free breakfast. When we asked reception for advice on restaurants shopping etc they not been very helpful to be honest Rooms 5/5 The room are spacious very clean with a wonderful balcony. The sleep quality was exceptional. The only thing was the shower temperature did not remain steady throughout your shower. The housekeeping is good. It is great at last a hotel with USB B & C plugs by the bed. Thank you!! Breakfast 5/5 On arrival the first morning at breakfast it was clear reception had messed up with advising the restaurant breakfast was included. To the rescue came Vanessa. We left it with her she resolved the issue. No drama No fuss. The breakfast is fantastic. I have to say the breakfast team are a credit to this hotel. They helped us also with our questions on the local area where to get best pasteles etc. Dinner and Bar 5/5 The superb team at breakfast continues into night. The bar team of both Pedros made us fantastic express mi martinis. The whole team is super friendly. The buffet was adequate. When they run out of tonic water and Grey Goose the F&B Manager I think called Diego changed a negative situation into a positive one. For me is a Sign of great customer experience. A little treat awaited us on return to room. This nice touches show the staff listen to the clients. Spa and Pool 5/5 We only used the Internal Pool. The lane dividiers in the pool were dirty. They are not needed and should be removed. The cleanliness around pool was top notch Overall this is the best Crowne plaza I have ever stayed in. The staff at the restaurant are level I would expect at intercontinental. I would definetly come back. Bit more of customer service training and this hotel would be exceptional.

Arrival and Check In 3/5 First impressions were not great when we saw the abandoned house next to the hotel. Check in was ok however it felt the lady was not experienced. The IHG Diamond membership was not acknowledged and the breakfast benefits were not added. No one assisted offered to assist us with the luggage. Rooms 5/5 The rooms were fantastic. The cleanliness was spot on. The sleep quality and mattress was exceptional. A pleasant was to find USB - B and USB - C and power sockets by the bed. Towels were good quality and the room size was good. Only complaint was that the shower went from hot to cold and didn’t maintain the temperature. Breakfast 5/5 Vanessa and the staff at breakfast were superb. Front desk could learn a thing or two from them. Amazing customer service and also advice on where to go and eat etc. the staff there provided more informative than any of the help we requested from reception Bar/ Restaurant 5/5 The both of the pedros make exceptional Expresso martinis. What lovely guys. The buffet was good however not enough staff to cope with the demand. Spa/Pool 4/5 The spa was spotless and the service was great. However the indoor pool, the lane dividers in the pool were dirty and could do with a good clean or simply removed as they were innecesario. Overall. I loved my stay at the Crowne plaza and I would come back as the staff are great.

Barely re opened in q1 2023 under IHG management, we loved it. We didn't mind the location on the hill 5 mns drive from the beach and 25mns from Lisbon center across the bridge. The room was gorgeous and brand new, just a pity that they stopped the refurbishment at the bathroom and didn't changes toilets and bidet too. We had a nespresso machine in our room and a balcony with a view on the pool and the ocean. The hotel has a massive warmed indoor pool (25m or longer), a huge outdoor pool and a kid pool too, in addition of a nice indoor playground, its spa is gorgeous too and the gym with yoga classes as brilliant as the rest. It is located on the same grounds as a golf course, so you are surrounded by lush greens, beautiful environment. The main cons were mostly the absence of specific side pool food or beverages despite a pool side bar, excruciating high prices for a hotel when it came to food or drinks in Portugal (4€ for a coffee from a nespresso machine and 15€ for cocktails, 25€ for a steak..),we avoided as well their breakfast which price was extravagant (37.5€ a day for 2 people and a toddler! Crazy high, while we spent max 7€ at a cafe 8mns walking distance for the same, and the service level in their bars was not very good. As well the lack of IHG status recognition is to be noted, they have joined IHG 5 months ago, are getting high status customer only thanks to IHG, but did not upgrade us despite a mostly empty venue and never gave us our welcome points. Hopefully they ll improve that soon. In any case we loved the venue very much and would have loved to spend money on f&b if its pricing was fair.

Very nice hotel, with a very well equipped gym. The bedrooms were great at a reasonable price, if you are willing to stay just south of Lisbon
