Very nice hotel located just outside of one of the main gateways into the walled city of Carcassonne. Spacious rooms, very helpful staff and nice available breakfast. Parking also available on-site. This hotel is ideally located for visiting the walled city and also for driving to other worthwhile sites is the region.

The location is the place to be when you’re visiting Carcassonne. The staff is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is a European buffet with omelets and eggs prepared to order. The only problem you might have is with the size of the room. The design of the room is awkward toilet on one side, sink and tub on the other. It is a superior room, look to upgrade to the junior suite.

Went on a family vacation at this hotel and I have to say they are extremely friendly. We have a groups of 8 folks with us and we speak limited French. Needless to say I’m sure that would wear on anyone’s patience, but checking in and being shown the amenities was no problem at all. Pros: -you’re at the front gate to the main town/castle which only takes about 2 minutes to walk to. - very friendly and patient staff, everyone says hello and are courteous and helpful. - hotel has a pool and rooms are large especially for European standards. - there’s a cat on the premises that appears to be well at home. I believe his name is “Pom-pom” or “pomme pomme” -really good wine and food that is cheap compared to American standards. Cons: - I wish I didn’t cheat in French class (sorry Mrs Golden) so I could actually communicate better with these folks and understand more about the history of the property. 5 out of 5 experience. If I end up in this part of the world again, I’d come back.

Charming boutique hotel right next to the entrance to the medieval city. Warm welcome, friendly hosts and beautifully furnished rooms. The hotel is clean, the breakfast buffet offers a wide choice of local food. We enjoyed our one night stay and recommend it.

The hotel has a great location just outside of the medieval city. The receptionist, Anniek, was really charming and helpful. She helped us find a dinner reservation for Sunday night - as a lot of the restaurants are closed then. We went to la Table d'Alais which was very good. The rooms are quite modern - the bed was super comfortable and the room was very quiet. Slept very well there. We booked a room with a jacuzzi which was a nice way to relax after a day of walking. It was lovely to use the pool too.

This is a peaceful haven right by the medieval city walls. Beautiful spot and immaculate hotel. Staff were without fail friendly and accommodating. We stayed for three nights and we really could not fault this hotel and sincerely hope to return.

We had a great experience at Hotel Pont Levis. The Hotel is right outside an entrance to the Medieval City, so is extremely convenient for walking around. The room we had was a basic hotel room, but very clean with a nice bathroom. We were only there one night, so we didn't use the facilities much. However there is a bar and swimming pool. The breakfast was pretty standard. Where this hotel really shined was the helpful staff at the front desk. Regardless of whoever was on duty, they were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

We travelled to Carcassonne for our 1st wedding anniversary and the accommodation was just perfect. From the warm welcome in reception (we were offered coffee and bottled water on arrival) and allowing us to check in early as the room was ready to giving us recommendations and advice on transport. The service from the staff really make this boutique hotel special. The rooms themselves are immaculate. Beautifully presented. We opted for just a Premium room and it was perfect for what we needed. The gardens and pool are a bonus. It was extremely hot when we stayed so the pool and air conditioning was welcomed. Would recommend to anyone wanting a short (or long) stay in Carcassonne. Thank you very much.

A really beautiful hotel 2 mins walk from the entrance to the medieval city. We stayed for 3 nights and was everything we expected from a 4 star hotel. Swimming pool was a great place to relax after sightseeing. Bedrooms are lovely with very comfortable beds, air conditioned. 3 rooms have hot tubs. Continental breakfast available. Bar served hot and cold drinks throughout the day and evening. Staff were all very polite and friendly, who couldn’t do enough for you, thank you. We would and will definitely return 100%
