Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow

飯店非常溫馨漂亮，服務人員也非常的好，只是位子比較偏僻了一點，對於渡假來說是一個非常好的選擇！真的非常棒！

We were in the Dolmen for a celebration and opted for afternoon tea. It was beautiful. The sandwiches were tasty, and the pastries were melt in the mouth The staff were polite, friendly, and professional. The table was set beautifully. All in all a great experience

My husband and I were with a just go coach tour...I must say the grounds are amazing, Our room was very spacious plenty of tea coffee,beds were so so so comfortable, enjoyed our dinner and breakfast the next morning was lovely..... I must say my only criticism would be the drinks are very pricey indeed...

We visited the Woodford Dolmen September 2024. Couple with a 3 year old and 1 year old. We have 4 areas we always look at and everyone of them were perfect. Staff: Definitely the nicest team we ever had looking after us. Every single staff members were superstars. From reception to housekeeping to maintenance. This is unusual as there is always one or two not so friendly. Well done Management. Cleanliness: Spotless through out the hotel. You can see people cleaning all the time. When the bar area was quiet before lunch the bar staff were out cleaning table legs etc. Rooms Spotless. Public areas slightly dated in some spots but still very very clean. Room: Modern, clean, great beds, perfect temperature and a homely feel. Food: Breakfast was perfect for us. Not a huge selection. We like this as what was there was top notch. Some hotels have hundreds of items and then not looked after. This was smaller selection but the selections were great. Overall: if we could give more than 5 stars we would. Expectations should be clean, friendly, comfortable, good value and great food.

Was hear for the testing menu on Valentines night. It was amazing night staff are so welcome and friendly. We started off with cocktails with were delicious the bar was bussy but when your in restaurants you never know and it really relaxing places sit. There was 7 courses, the first was a beetroot dish that was probably my favourite another favourite was fish dish and lemon on the dessert . Was told this was there frist time running a tasting menu and really hope they do it again as it was an amazing experience and would love two go back again if they do a second one . Shout out two the floor staff they did amazing job you would never of known this was their frist time doing a tasting menu. we were neve left waiting for the next course and they did fantastic job, really made the night so special.

Just finished our weekend here, the food was the nicest food we have ever had in any hotel in Ireland, the staff made this hotel they couldn't do enough for us, they were so friendly, hotel itself is really cosy and spotless clean, the rooms were the same spotless and the beds and pillows were lovely to sleep on, the only reason I took a star away was for the bathroom, it badly needs upgrading, it was clean but very dated, hands don't go under the taps, shower went cold and no hot water to use the bath. It wouldn't stop me staying here but let's the room down.
