We loved this inn so much! The room was incredible, with a fireplace and double soaking tub. We were able to walk everywhere--coffee shops, restaurants, and even the beach. We went for our anniversary and will definitely be coming back next year.

First….. the staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating from the second you walk in the office door. The Hotel is very convenient to downtown, just a very short walk (three blocks), but far enough that it is super quiet at night. The breakfast was great, and they never run out. The afternoon treats were perfect. Did I mention how wonderful the people are that work there? They made the trip perfect for all six nights we were there. I can’t wait to go back next

My husband and I have been vacationing or weekending in Carmel and have stayed at many of the downtown inns. Carmel Country Inn surpasses any other place by far! You'll feel like you're in a little European villa. We have been returning here for the past several years. The have great amenities, accommodations for us and our doggies. it is very romantic for couples or great for family trips. Staff is so friendly and help with anything you may need. They serve breakfast, and all-day stacks, wonderful coffee! Walking distance to the beach but not so close to be in the traffic. Block away from downtown restaurants, and shops. We truly love it here and I always highly recommend Carmel County Inn to family, friends or anyone. You will love it too!!

Quiet, clean, extremely well-maintained inn close to lots of dining, ten minutes to beach; and on a less busy street. Staff are superior, breakfasts notches above what others offer, pet-friendly (Mr. Big!). We’ve stayed at ＞10 properties in Carmel through the years and this is right at the top.

What a lovely find. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom suite for our family of four. Immaculately clean, loads of towels and linen. Good location for easy walk to the restaurants. Extremely warm welcome and charming low key but delicious breakfast. We were even sent on our way with snacks for the journey.

I'm just thrilled that we found this adorable pet-friendly inn. Our 2-bedroom suite was beautifully furnished with two bathrooms and a fireplace. We are all vegan and loved the breakfasts and coffee. Our dog was mourning his brother and this inn (and the beach) cheered him up. We loved the staff, the cat (Mr. Big) and the quiet peaceful location which was in walking distance to everything.

Staff are exceptionally pet friendly and accommodating. My partner and I originally had reservations in March, just when the heavy rains, floods and road closures impacted the area. We live locally (Watsonville) so were also impacted at home. I called to modify the reservations just days before arrival and inn keeper Amy was 100% understanding: she offered a cancellation with full refund, rescheduling, or modifying the reservation. I couldn't have been more satisfied with her response. We rescheduled for May, it was a wonderful 3-night stay. We stayed in an upstairs Luxury King Studio, having the balcony was an extra treat. Being within walking distance of downtown was so convenient. Room was very clean with a generous supply of towels. The morning buffet is very good, I loved their mini quiches. I highly recommend. We definitely plan to return.

Charming and welcoming. I returned to paradise after a two year time away. The Carmel Country Inn is still as welcoming as my first stay. They seem to provide beyond your expectations. Upon arrival we had cookies and trail mix waiting for us. I did not want to leave! Thank you for a great 4 day stay!

We stayed in the Treehouse luxury king studio for a three night stay in Carmel and loved our room! Spacious with comfy bed, extremely quiet, large fireplace that quickly warmed the room. So light and airy with so many windows and nice patio to sit and enjoy our coffee or wine in the evening. All employees were so pleasant and helpful! Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and variety of hot and cold choices. On Easter we opened our door to a basket filled with treats! Lots of pretty flowers and plants on the property. Bring a small car as parking is a little tight. Short walk to beach and downtown. A great experience overall!
