Hotel Ayenda Cartagena Blue 1804

In 25 years of traveling, this place is going in the top 5 of the worst places I have even been to. The pictures they provide on the booking platforms have nothing to do with what you actually get. The place was tiny, it’s like I rented a locker. There was no space around the bed at all, only on one side, just enough to walk to go to the toilet and shower. No space for furniture there, barely enough for your luggage. There is on’y one window and it is a view of the corridor. The room smelled like mold. There was mold everywhere. It was not clean at all. There was some kind of humidity flies all over the walls. There is no bathroom, they put show doors to close a space where there is the toilet and a sink and another door for the shower. You don’t have control of the temperature of the water in the shower. They don’t provide shampoo and only one towel. The air con is not working properly. I was next to the hotel laundry room and the washing machines woke me up. They were so noisy I thought there was some renovations there. Horrible. My only positive point is that the bed was comfy and the pillows were ok. There is no common spaces with air condition. The pool looks nice but I didn’t use it. There is nothing interesting in the neighborhood, the beach is close but it’s not pretty and full of plastic trash. Avoid that place please.

Very simple accommodations. Clean enough to get by but not glamorous. Booked through Orbitz and it said breakfast is included-found out when I arrived that it wasn't. Hotel is about 1 1/14 miles from walked city but theres a path along the beach that easy to access. A handful of restaurants and bodegas nearby. Neighborhood has nice vibe. I'd pay a bit more for a place in Getsemani or in the Walled city. *Heads up, Cartagena his HOT and humid. 90's with very high humidity-not much wind so be prepared to sweat ALL day. Beautiful city though great trip.

You get what you pay for. No hot water in shower. Rooms smell horrible, very humid. There are small insects everywhere (Even on the beds). Staff is rude. It was advertised as “Breakfast included”, but breakfast was NOT included. The only nice touch to the hotel is their cat pet…. He is the cutest. Needless to say, I will not be coming back!!!

Llegamos a las 8:30am de la mañana un viaje de 10 horas y nos nos dejaron ingresar porq la entrada era a las 12 pm, hicimos la hora y cuando logramos ingresar a descansar, estaban trabajando en la pieza del lado, un ruido insoportable que no pudimos dormir...llenaron el hotel de un grupo deportivo de personas. el cual, fue imposible ocupar la picsina y cualquier espacio del recinto, estuvo colapsado todos los días que estuvimos y los recepcionista se hacen los desentendido mayormente de los problemas que pueden ocurrir en la estancia.

Es muy aseado. La atención es muy buena. Precios acordé al alojamiento. Nos hemos alhojado varias veces allí además porque es muy cerca al aeropuerto y ofrecen un desayuno muy agradable para iniciar el día.

Nos pusieron en una habitación sin ventanas, no me gustó nada. Me ofrecieron los tuors para baru muy caros, los compré en la torre del reloj mucho más barato. No nos cambiaron las sábanas ni tampoco las toallas en 4 días que estuve allí alojado. Muy mal
