Hotel berhampiran The Technological University of Bolivar, Cartagena

Me gustó la atención que se dio durante mi estancia en el hotel, el personal muy amable y profesionales. Me gustó las comidas que brindaron en el restaurante; sin embargo, resalto que los jugos en ocasiones estaban con demasiada azúcar o las sopas con demasiada sal, pero de resto super bien.

Si pudiera darle más de 5 estrellas, se las daría. La verdad, excelente hotel en general. El servicio impecable, la comida deliciosa, las instalaciones son lindas y limpias, el cuarto tiene todas las comodidades, y está ubicado en un muy buen sector. Lo único que quizá podría mejorar es la cobertura del WiFi, pero es un detalle mínimo.

excelente servicio. el personal que allí labora es muy amable y servicial. la alimentación es muy buena, el menú es variado y saludable. el hotel está muy bien ubicado, lo cual permite poder visitar y conocer diferentes sitios ahí cerca, incluyendo la playa.

I was upgraded to this property from the OZ luxury hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by this action and enjoyed the larger room. I’m not sure what there is to complain about for this hotel. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The check-in process was easy and when we asked for recommendations for restaurants they were happy to help. Breakfast each morning was different Columbian cuisine which I enjoy when traveling. It was fresh with a good variety of choices. If the local cuisine is not your liking they make eggs to order which is a nice added touch. I loved being in the Bocagrande area it isn’t as busy as the walled city it is more of a beach town vibe. Uber to the other attractions ranged from $3-6. I can say I fell in love with this property and Cartagena and look forward to coming back soon.

We had a great time at Hotel Caribe, lovely main pool, and had a selection of smaller dipping pools and tubs to choose from. The parrots, sloths and birds live happily around the ground and it’s so lovely. Everyone that works here is so sweet and warm. We had a lovely chat to Antonio who hands over the towels by the pool, Marianny, the hostess is also very lovely and always checks you are having a nice time. Breakfast is great tho I think those with dietary restrictions may struggle as sometimes the signage isn’t too great. We didn’t have that problem so it didn’t bother us but maybe one to consider for other guests. Pizzas are great, but as others have commented, other lunch/dinner options aren’t great and quite pricey for what they are. Until this is sorted I recommend other travellers to eat breakfast at the hotel but other meals in Cartagena town as there’s lots of amazing options there! Our room was gorgeous and the bed so comfy!! Loved it, would come back again.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Cartagena with a courtyard inside that looks like a botanical garden. When I booked the hotel, I was a little worried after reading some not entirely positive reviews, but I do not regret staying here for three nights, especially since other hotels have more negative reviews. And  here is my conclusion. Great hotel with air conditioner in the room, swimming pool and rooftop which i really like. The staff is very friendly, some of them speak english, especially Juan David. This young guy speaks good english, he is very helpful and erudite. The other guys also left good impressions: Antony, Gustavo, Nilsa, Oscar The breakfast here is great, you feel like you are in a cafe, they will prepare food for you to order. The dining room is located on the fifth floor with a view of the city.  I read that some guests had complaints about the noise from the street. Guys, if you want to live in a quiet place, then you need to book a hotel on the outskirts of the city, but here in the very center and on the busiest street, do not expect that there will be silence. My room was inside  with a window to the courtyard, and there was no noise from the street. I give them five stars, and I really hope that the management will encourage their employees who try their best. And of course I recommend this boutique hotel. ---- Замечательный отель в самом сердце Картахены с двориком внутри похожим на ботанический сад.Когда я буковал отель то немного переживал прочитав несколько не совсем позитивных отзывов, но я не жалею что остановился здесь на три ночи, тем более что у других отелей больше негативных отзывав.И вот моё заключение.Отличный отель с кондиционером в комнате, бассейном и rooftop, что мне очень нравится.Персонал очень дружелюбный, часть из них говорит по-английски, особенно Хуан.Этот молодой парень хорошо говорит по-английски, он очень отзывчив и эрудирован.Другие парни тоже оставили хорошие впечатления: Antony, Gustavo, Nilsa, Oscar Завтрак здесь замечательный, вы чувствуете будто находитесь в кафе, они приготовят вам еду на заказ.Столовая расположена на пятом этаже с видои на город. Я читал что некоторые постояльцы имели жалобы на шум с улицы.Ребята, если вы хотите жить в тихом месте то вам нужно буковать отель на окраине города, но здесь в самом центре и на самой оживлённой улице не ожижайте что будет тишина.Моя комната была внутри с окном во внутренний двор, и не было слышно никакого шума с улицы.Я ставлю им пять звёзд, и конечно я рекомендую этот отель ----- Un maravilloso hotel en el corazón de Cartagena con un patio interior que parece un jardín botánico.  Cuando reservé el hotel, estaba un poco preocupado después de leer algunas críticas no del todo positivas, pero no me arrepiento de quedarme aquí por tres noches, especialmente porque otros hoteles tienen críticas más negativas. First stay in a legend hotel, and this had been billed as the best hotel in Colombia....whilst it certainly has the old school legend vibes and initial wow factor as you arrive, you soon realise the hotel is a bit old...when we arrived despite my many messages before hand we were not given adjoining rooms, however after about 10 hours the staff were able to upgrade us and provide us with adjoining rooms which made the rest of our trip much better as not having adjoining rooms with your kids in a strange country and strange hotel would have been a nightmare! The facilities at the hotel are fine, but again certainly not legendary. The pool was nicest feature, and the spa was decent although you had to vacate the lounge beds about 30 mins after your treatment as the next guests would need to relax on them. Overall Cartagena itself was amazing and a fantastic place to visit and the Sofitel staff were attentive and showered guests with attention.
