Fantastic service from all the team for a big birthday . 16 people and all the food was perfectly served and presented . Cannot praise Roberto and the kitchen staff highly enough . Zara and Nelson kept everyone refilled with wine during a lovely meal . We look forward to going back there soon

lovely apartment - so central to Carvoeiro - terrific views from all the apartments =- and there is a bistro/cafe onsite if you do not want to cook - or walk down into town but it is central - the staff are great its a good stay!!! safe onsite parking the apartments are traditionally furnished and there is excellent cleaning services there is everything to like about this place

Lovely place in a beautiful spot on the cliff. Apartment has lovely views. wanted to add some information that I would have found useful before coming. There is a bistro on site but there are also 5/6 restaurants in very short walking distance plus a lovely cafe. There is a corner shop nearby too for morning pastries and you can get shopping delivered from the Intermarche with Uber Eats. Uber from Faro airport came up at less than 50 euros.

A posh experience with tasteful and homey decor with amazing views/service and great cafe for a value! We rented huge villa that gave us all space and was comfortable. Definitely recommend especially with families! Beds are not as comfortable as they could be. I’d leave cleaning pods for washer and a few other basics as you don’t want to have to go to a grocery store.

We stayed in a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment with amazing views of this lovely complex and the sea. The staff were so welcoming throughout and did everything they could to make sure our stay was good. The apartment was stunning with a well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and a choice of balconies. The complex itself is beautiful with a lovely pool area and bistro attached. The location is perfect - as it is just next to the boardwalk which overlooks the stunning coast line and a beautiful walk into Carvoeiro (10 mins). The apartments are cleaned 5 days a week and are spotless.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Algar Seco Parque. The resort is very well managed, all staff are polite and Bruno at reception was lovely... very welcoming and helpful. The resort is well situated with amazing cliff and sea views. We stayed in a bungalow which was situated less than a ten minute walk from reception and the pool which was perfect for us as it was VERY peaceful. The pools are very clean and always sun loungers available which you can position so you are facing directly to the sea, We only had drinks at the Bistro but the food looked amazing, it is advisable to book a reservation as it is very popular. The bungalow has everything you need for a self catering stay and provided excellent cleaning service 5 days out of 7. Beds are comfy with a good selection of pillows. The resort is SO peaceful although you are only a 10/15 minute walk into Carvoeiro town which has some excellent restaurants and shops. We have been coming to Carvoeiro for over 12 years and have did all the touristy things but there are plenty water sports, boat/cave trips and lots of activities on offer. This is our first time at Algar Seco Parque but won't be our last there is nothing negative to say or anything that can be improved on here :) Thank you for a very relaxed special holiday :)

First time staying here and it's fair to say we had high expectations having read all the reviews, well i'm happy to say that we were not disappointed and had a fantastic week at Algar Seco Parque. There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said to be honest, the views are to die for, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the pool area is lovely and relaxing and site and gardens are beautiful and well maintened. Everything that should work, works and you really just feel like it is a home from home. If you are like me and appreciate all of the above in a quiet resort where you can really relax and unwind and get a good nights sleep ( beds are also really good ), then you too will find that this is your kind of place.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, it was extremely spacious, well equipped, immaculately clean and had the most beautiful sea views. The grounds are kept pristine, the pool area is lovely and the Bistro offers a great selection of reasonably priced food and drinks. One of the best resorts we have had the pleasure of staying in. The location is also fantastic. Close enough to all the restaurants and bars but it still had that secluded, peaceful feel. The staff were very friendly, all up until the last day when I called reception and the person I spoke to was very rude. It took me by surprise as everyone had been so friendly up to that point. It was a bit of a disappointment to end on our last day and also a shame that one person let them down but I guess we all have bad days! This isn’t meant to put anyone off, I’ve added it in the hope the member of staff sees this and perhaps improves her telephone manner! Highly recommend this beautiful resort.

I describe Algar Secq as “our little piece of paradise”. It is such a special place with a very tranquil atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. We had a studio room with simple Portuguese decor & spotlessly clean. The view was amazing - over the cliffs to the ocean. There is a small Bistro on site which serves delicious food too.
