Hotel Castle dengan Gim

I arrived early and they allowed me to check-in my room 2 hours earlier. It's a kind gesture that helped me a lot. It's located 5 minutes walk away from the city center where the banks and big shops are located.

Just returned from a two night stay, great hotel for the price paid, comfortable room , excellent friendly helpful staff and the hotel is in a great location , food is typical beefeater enjoyed the steak platter one evening combined with breakfast the following an excellent price when booked as the meal deal , slight surcharge for the steak platter but well worth it . Will definitely book to stay here again, thinking of a short summer break and spending more time around the Gower which is a beautiful area with excellent beaches and great walks

Upon arriving the first impressions are of grandeur and prestige and throughout the hotel it is immaculately clean and lovely. They have their own car park which is a bonus. My room however was very basic and quite dark. I was placed on the ground floor and the only way to let light in was to keep the curtains open. I didn’t feel comfortable with this as I was on my own. I should have asked to be placed on another floor but didn’t want to inconvenience anyone by changing rooms. The bed was so comfortable pity about the lighting. To get to my room you had to go outside into a courtyard area. Which wasn’t a big deal as it’s a minute walk however I did ask for a room within the main building. They still class this as the main building. Breakfast was awesome and I loved it. The location of the hotel is excellent too as it’s right across from the town centre and the restaurants are a 2 min walk. WiFi worked fine and all the staff were lovely. There’s a lovely bar area but no evening food.

The only 2 lifts were not in service at the same time. Luckily the staffs there were pretty helpful. However, they accidentally charged me an extra cost though the amount of money was returned eventually but I hope that similar things won’t happen to other customers in the future Rooms were spacious!👍🏻

Missed the simple things like a bath mat, a non slip mat to use while showering and drinking glasses available in the room. Bed was okay, a little creaky and “well used”
