The airport pick-up and drop-off service is smooth and reliable, which makes arrival and departure hassle-free. Check-in was easy, and the staff were welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch was the complimentary flower cake on arrival, which added a nice local feel to the stay. Overall, a practical and comfortable choice for a short airport stopover.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Kunming I stayed at Atour Hotel Kunming (Nanping Pedestrian Street Old Street) for one night on 1 June 2025, and it was easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Kunming. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, giving it a fresh, modern, and stylish feel throughout. We booked a Superior Queen Room, which was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully designed. The room was well-equipped with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The standout feature was undoubtedly the bedding. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable and supportive—we slept so well that we nearly missed breakfast the next morning. The bathroom amenities were excellent, and the heated toilet seat was a particularly nice touch, especially considering how uncomfortable cold toilet seats can be. The only thing missing was a bidet, which would have made the experience a perfect 5/5. Another feature I appreciated was the hotel’s robot delivery service. Food deliveries are received at the lobby and then sent directly to your room by robot, which was both convenient and fun. The lobby and breakfast restaurant are located on Level 7, which also houses a well-equipped gym and complimentary self-service laundry facilities—great additions for both short and extended stays. Location-wise, the hotel is hard to beat. Situated right in the heart of Kunming’s city centre, surrounded by local streets, markets, shopping malls, and plenty of dining options, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, facilities, service, and unbeatable location. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Kunming.

Expert Local Advice: He gave me amazing tips and tricks on how to navigate the local tourist spots efficiently. Tea Enthusiast’s Dream: As I’m currently learning the art of brewing tea, A-Fei was incredibly helpful. He shared his knowledge about Pu-erh tea and even recommended a local tea shop where I could find high-quality tea at a great price. It was such a personalized experience! The Vibe: The room rates are excellent, the communication is lightning-fast, and the level of care and sincerity the staff puts into their service is rare to find. You can really feel that they care about their guests' happiness. If you are planning a trip to Lijiang, I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff went above and beyond throughout my entire stay. They were always available to help with anything, answered every question patiently, recommended great local restaurants, and even arranged airport and high-speed rail station transfers, making the trip completely stress-free. One of the most thoughtful moments was when I had to leave very early in the morning for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Knowing that most breakfast places would not be open yet, the hotel prepared a simple breakfast for me in advance so I wouldn't have to start the day hungry. It was a small gesture that left a big impression. The rooftop offers a beautiful view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the regular breakfast was delicious every day. The ******* butter tea activity was also a memorable experience. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about local culture, meet other guests, and share stories together. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The level of hospitality here is exceptional. If I ever return to Lijiang, I will definitely here again😍😍 And their dog is so cute🤩

Hi! I really enjoyed my stay here. 粥粥 was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout everything. From helping with luggage to checking in on my stay, her service made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. The check-in and check-out processes were painfully slow and disorganized. Only one available staff, people jumping the line, nobody putting these people in order. We had to start arguing with other guests to have them respect the line. Very unpleasant and unacceptable for a hotel of this category.

The hotel is at a perfect location.. its close to good eateries, tea shops, leather shop and even jade stores.. The deluxe room has a Japanese feel to it! Gorgeous and comfortable..! Communication with hotel staff are also easy, they can speak fluent English and are very helpful. Overall a good stay! Definitely recommended!

和女朋友出門旅行，第一重要的是酒店，第二是美食。 來彌勒很多次，説實話彌勒的酒店目前都很在線，但是這次住的山居真的很驚喜。完全是國外五星級酒店的接待標準，無論是入住禮還是酒店內的配套設施，都能夠讓人在酒店度過非常幸福的一天。 大堂的設計充滿了中西元素的碰撞，空間很大，大堂內的手沖咖啡水準很在線！一樓的温泉有公共的泡池，也有私湯，關鍵是通風很好！一點都不悶！  自己開車來就停在酒店旁邊，出去玩也很方便。  我最驚喜的其實是酒店配備的身體乳，味道真的很好聞！衹用了半瓶，剩下的我還帶走了，準備去網上找找同款哈哈哈。  價格不便宜，但是絕對是物有所值，對得起價格的體驗在我看來才是真正的質價比！  房間我沒拍是因為到的太晚了，睡得亂七八糟，大家可以看看別人拍的。乾淨且高級！

I had a wonderful stay here and truly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and beautifully decorated in a ******* style, giving the place a unique cultural feeling. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Although they cannot speak English, they made a great effort to communicate and help with everything, which made me feel very comfortable and well cared for. The room was clean, comfortable, and well designed with clearly separated areas. Complimentary tea was provided, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The location is also excellent — close to the main walking street and surrounded by many delicious restaurants. Another highlight is the free pick-up and drop-off service, as well as the tasty snacks provided by the hotel. These thoughtful details made the stay even more memorable.
