We had a room booked for Friday night, upon arrival there was no one at reception, we waited for 10 minutes then I rang the phone number provided on paperwork we had. A man answered and said ‘ oh ok I’ll let the manager know’ I no sooner hung up and a woman appeared , she was the cleaner.. she explained she was the only one there and our room wasn’t ready yet, and to give her 30 mins. We did.. ( it was well after the time we were able to check in) we got back she processed the fee and told us our room number and said she was in a hurry, had to catch a bus or something. We get to our room there were no towels .. so hubby went out to find her , she brings back towels and then says ‘‘ oh I don’t know if your bathroom was cleaned’’ we were thinking ‘ hang on didn’t we just give you extra time to finish our room and you were the only one here , how can you not know ‘ The carpet is stained the doona/ coverlet was stained .. Disgusting,.. there was no one there at this point to complain to and obviously the manager doesn’t care either , because other people were arriving and waiting at reception … PATHETIC
