Hotel Cavan dengan Kolam Renang

I attended my brother's wedding here on 22nd April and from the moment we arrived at the hotel until check out the following day everything was outstanding! Every single member of staff from the managers who greeted us at the door upon arrival, bar staff, waiting staff, receptionists and housekeeping staff in the corridors greeted us with a warm and genuine smile and a friendly hello. My first impression from the outside was the hotel looked quite plain and ordinary but don't let that fool you! Once inside the interior was simply beautiful. It was tasteful and elegant but also bright and modern. The bedrooms were a generous size and spotlessly clean. With the vantage from the top table I could observe the entire service throughout and it was probably the best and smoothest wedding service I have seen. At this point I should mention I have 16 years experience in hospitality. The service during the meal was exceptional. All members of staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much bother. The food was full of flavour and beautifully presented as was the breakfast the following morning so special shout out to the chefs you do an amazing job and often without the recognition you deserve! Apologies if this was long winded but it's been over a month now from the wedding and everyone is still raving about it, so from all of us Thank you very much for making our day special and one we certainly won't forget.

Went to the bar as just a passing customer, ate in the bar above the foyer. Service was so slow, the staff ignored me and served another couple before me at this stage I had been there 20 minutes- it was NOT busy! Eventually my order was taken. I ordered chicken wings to start (thankfully) and the steak minute sandwich which I distinctly asked for no butter. The ciabatta was smothered in a garlic like butter on one side 🤮 the steak was well done, the salad leaves were thrown on to the plate with no dressing. I only ate the steak and a quarter of the unbuttered side of the ciabatta and half the chips. I paid €35.50 for the privilege of this extremely disappointing experience. I won’t be back!!
