Hotel Pura Chacala

We were in the top floor #9 and it is perfect. Lovely view of the bay! The decor is both Mexican and modern. The bed was very comfortable and we loved having a kitchen and utensilios. It was great being above the town and walking down to breakfast and the beach. We were here for 5 nights of total relaxation and achieved it 100 %. Owners are so helpful and friendly. The rooftop terrace is a dream. I hope we can come back to Chacala.

I paid for a 1-room apartment, which was the same price as the vista al mar studio. The studio is very tastefully done and has utensils in the kitchen and a small view to the sea. When I requested other cosmetics, I received them. No gustó · The hot water arrived after 5 minutes of waiting, and on the second day we realized that we had to do the cleaning ourselves (there was a broom to sweep in front of the door). I paid for a 1-room apartment, which was the same price as the vista al mar studio. I paid 1210 pesos per night, while the price on their website was 1000 pesos per night (so 210 pesos taxes per night). On the phone, Mr. Jerry said that there is no problem to change the room, the 1-room apartment and the sea view studio are at the same price, after which, when we arrived, his wife informed us that if we want the change, we have to pay another 150 pesos/night. I paid the 300 pesos for 2 nights, because my goal was to feel good and not to argue, but I think this is not a good business model to follow and I would be happy to receive the money back.
