Atour Light Hotel is located in the heart of Huang Xing Pedestrian Street, a Changsha foodie paradise. The location is a little hard to find since the entrance is in an alley, but still a great location nonetheless.
The hotel is new and clean. I chose a room without windows as the receptionist explained it would be quieter. Instead of a real window, the “window” look out into a fake garden, which I thought it was a nice touch.
Besides the usual complimentary toiletries, the hotel also offer heated eye masks and surplus drinks in the refrigerator. The free laundry service is also a plus. When checking out, the reception offered more water and snacks. Overall, I am very satisfied with Atour Light Hotel and would recommend it to my friends and family when visiting Changsha.

Great location! About 2-3 mins walk from Wuyi Square Metro exit 7. There are plenty of restaurants, malls, and in close walking proximity to the famous locations including the store that sells those oversized snacks. The hotel offers breakfast which is 6.5/10. The reception is on the 7th floor and I got a room on the 14th floor, fairly large and comfortable. There were a few things that could use repair and deep cleaning but was okay for the price and considering the location. Overall, recommend and would stay there if I ever visit Changsha again.

A solid stay in the city center of Changsha. It's just clean and comfortable hostel. Beds are a little bit hard (fine for me). Shower rooms are clean. City center. Wuyiguangchang even just 5 minuites away. The hostel itself may not have a perfect view from the window. But on the stairs you could see ifs, and, again, 5 minuites and you are there are.
Food around are a little bit expensive, but there are also cheap shops and caffes, you just need to explore area a little bit.
Night walk is perfect. Transport too.

The Qijian Shimengshe Hotel (IFS International Financial Center) was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Changsha. With Changsha Railway Station just 4km away and Changsha Huanghua International Airport only 26km away, transportation is very convenient. Being just minutes away from Huangxing Square Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Changsha Ferris Wheel, Orange Island and HuaLongChi all nearby. the place is a littl hard to find because it's hiding at the back of a building, and they don't have a signage in the front of the building. Please call to ask for directions before leaving for your trip, or else you'll have to ask people around there (we had asked a few shop owners in the front of the building and they said they don't know where is the place, not sure if they really don't know or being unhelpful). However, besides that, everything is quite good, really nice owner, the place is clean as well.

They served us tea while checking us in. On our second night, we had a question concerning our train tickets and they helped us call the support service without being asked.
Location was also great as we were about 15min away from Wuyi square and right next to the metro.

I would definitely stay here again! The ac is amazing, and the staff is helpful. Laundry is available for very cheap. The location is great— easy to get to everywhere by bus or train and many good restaurants and shopping in walking distance. I was also able to make some friend in the area and from the hostel :)
I ended up having a change in travel plans and preferred to stay here an extra night as opposed to somewhere else or get to my next destination early!

Although the room furniture is slightly dated, it is conveniently located next to i-City mall and serves as a centralised location to explore Changsha. Opt for the daily breakfast and you will not be disappointed. Most of the local food can be found at the buffet and the view on the 43rd floor is magnificent.
The only downside was the strong smell of cigarettes that permeated the air in the room.
Remember to bring your own swimming cap if u intend to utilise the indoor swimming pool, otherwise u will not be allowed to enter the pool. Swimming caps retail at 40CNY a piece, so BYOC (Bring Your Own Cap)!

BBerrrrrrrrrDidn't have the time to check out the amenity, but the suite is very nice. While smaller than I'd originally pictured, there is sufficient space for us to spread out.
We requested non-smoking room and they had to special treat the room prior to our arrival. The staff did a very good job. Even as picky as I am with scents, I didn't pick up any smoke smell. Staff also checked with us again just to make sure everything was up to my standard. The gesture was very much appreciated. On a side note, they did have a nice woodsy smelling room fragrance used in the bathroom area in particular that I really liked.
The breakfast area was spacious and nice with an outdoor area. Food was okay, but nothing to write home about. There are local restaurants all around the hotel which we did end up enjoying.
We also ordered some food and drink delivery from 3rd party, and they made it to our room with any issue via those cute little robot things.
We couldn't use the Metro stations since we don't have the Chinese ID, but was able to access the bus stations which are plenty nearby. Taxi/ride shares are also dirt cheap. But we do find that since the hotel is right on the corner of a major intersection, and the vehicle loop in front is not the most conveniently designed, it's much easier to walk a little further along either streets before hailing or for pick up.
Overall a very comfortable stay that's very affordable. The little nice information cards in the room for food and attractions in the area were also a nice touch.

CCameo19I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities.
It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute!
The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log.
Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.)
The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place.
The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable.
Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great.
Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city.
Definitely recommend staying here!

Location: Couldn't be more perfect - walking distance from all the areas we wanted to be in, with tonnes of great food and drink options (street food, restaurants etc) right at the doorstep, same with convenience stores and everything else you'd need. The subway is also a very short walk away, as well as several malls.
Room: Room was very good - really well kitted out (including a very good hair dryer which my girlfriend said was worth mentioning), clean, and well decorated. Lots of useful tech / extra touches that elevated the stay. It was slightly on the smaller side, so not a huge amount of storage space for clothes, but this wasn't a problem for our shorter stay. The room includes a projector which has a lot of films included (including in english) which was a nice touch.
Service: The service was amazing! The front desk staff don't speak english but we used our phones to translate, so communication was no problem. Xiao Hao, Pei Pei, and Xiao Mei were great - and we were always met with a smile. There's a concierge service which means you can reach the team on WeChat at any time - and they were incredibly responsive and helpful each time I asked for recommendations or had specific questions.
Facilities: Decent.well decorated, modern communal areas, the breakfast has a good spread (western / chinese), free laundry and dryers. The gym is tiny and quite barren however.

MMingjiaMy family and I had a wonderful trip in Changsha. We ended up staying at Wanda Vista for a total of three days. The hotel was clean and the room was very quiet. The staff team was incredibly helpful. In addition, the hotel was located near many great restaurants and attractions.

You can literally walk to all the main shopping streets nearby for access to shopping and food (eg bakeries, famous fermented bean curd, bubble tea shops, Chinese food chains, many food streets/food courts). Just around the corner there’s also a small quaint alley which is quieter than the main shopping streets, that also has nice local options or coffee shops. The staff was very sweet when I checked in and she offered a room upgrade for me. I also needed their help to book a car because my overseas phone can’t do so on the Didi app, and they helped me with that :) The pickup / drop off location is however not at the hotel itself. It’s across the street right at the traffic light (outside Zegna of IFS). Orange Hotel is directly opposite IFS if you’d like access to higher end shopping. Don’t expect 5 star hotel cleanliness, the room did smell a little musky (someone definitely smoked in there before at some point), but it was livable and the good location trumps it all. There are some lighting options in this room as well that are pretty amusing - props to the hotel for wanting to spice things up. There’s a small ramp to help you roll your luggage up at the lift landing, and if you need anything eg an extra bottle of water, a robot helps to bring it to your room :)

Bblackcupcake999Good location close to both the international convention and exhibition centre and the train station. The hotel is also located in a new, clean and beautiful area: looking across a green scenery and sport field but in a seperate lot to ensure a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The facility is modern and very clean so it gives you an impression of high-end hotel but the price is surprisingly a bargain compared to others. It may be a little away from Changsha city centre but the price makes up for it. Furthermore it’s close to the airport, train station and also very easy to book taxi to go every where.
The room is spacious, clean and tidy with all the amenities and convenience you will need. The king bed is comfortable and the atmosphere is quiet and nice so I had plenty of good night sleeps. There is also an option of converting the sofa into an extra bed at no fee but I didn’t need it.
On the 1st floor there is a small supermarket where you can find most of the common stuff and snacks. Next door there are a few restaurants if you are too lazy to go out.
Moreover, amazing customer services, the staff were polite, helpful and the checking in was quick and easy!
Changsha was stormy the day of my flight and there was difficulty getting a taxi to go to the airport because some roads were flooded. The hotel staff just noticed me sitting and waiting then offered to help getting me to the airport. Luckily if it wasn’t for the assistance of the hotel staff and the relatively closeness of the hotel to Changsha airport, I would not have made it to the airport in time for my flight.
All in all, 5/5 ratings and compliments from me to this hotel and the staff!!

红红月The location is excellent — right in the middle of historic Duzheng Jie. For me, this was the perfect blend of local / touristy. The area is essentially one cobblestone street with some restaurants and shops, plus some hidden ones in the connecting alleys. It’s accessible to other key points of interest and two metro stations (both along Line 1) by foot which is also convenient.
Note: The location probably isn’t suitable for light sleepers however. There is a live house directly downstairs and the hotel is small, so it can be a bit noisy. On my final night, someone set off multiple rounds of firecrackers all through the night which led to smoke billowing up to my balcony. This is not the hotels fault, but just something to note for future guests. It might be an infrequent weekend occurrence due to the upcoming Spring Festival.
The room was fine for me. Large, comfortable bed. Spacious balcony. Many free movies available on the TV.

Except for the exact moment that I checked in, and probably only because there was a family checking in then too, I never saw any staff downstairs. They can be reached through the hotel’s WeChat, but don’t expect any warm good mornings, how is your stay, etc. when exiting or returning each day.

PPengguna Tetamu酒店位置方便地鐵口出來即達，離湘江也很近，去步行街也很方便。樓下美食多多。房型佈局合理視野也很好，房間每天都打掃得挺乾淨，WIFI信號也好。前台小姐姐很細心很負責，也很美麗。

SSOPHIA CHOU WEIWe stayed only 1 night and hotel was chosen due to location in the Airport. Hote is located 3mins wlk to T1. We arrived at the Hunaghua Int'l Airport T2 and you can call the hotel to arange for pick up which is bonus. The hotel also send us to the meglev station the next day. Overall it is oerfect for those who want to stay near the hotel. Room is clean too. Note: checking in was a bit challenging as we arrived at mid night and only 1 person mend the reception. we were half way doing check in when a group of China local tourist came in and they dont't wait don't queue - many of them just shoved you aside and push their ID card over to the staff for check in.
