Fantastic location as you are right off the bridge between Mt Pleasant and Charleston which made it convenient no matter where I was going. Less than a mile walk to Shrem Creek and across from Patriot's Point. Plenty of Parking and felt secure. Room was decent. I will say they only serviced the room once during a 5 night stay but honestly it was not a big deal for me but can see how others may complain. Great breakfast options each day and they changed it up which was nice. Small pool in front. Definitely would stay again.

This is a review of the Mount Pleasant SC Springhill Suits. Staying in many Marriott’s each year, this was by far, the worst experience I have had. First room, 407, had terrible stains on the couch. They moved us to 405. Same issue, terrible stains on the couch. After complaining the second time I would have thought I would have been offered another room, maybe one with a different house keeper. He did not offer me anything besides an eye roll like he wasn’t surprised but was annoyed at the issue happening. My family refused to sit on the couch and we felt uncomfy the whole trip. I complained again on day 2 that the couch was still dirty after housekeeping came in. To make matters worse, We returned from day 3 out on the town to find that housekeeping LEFT OUR ROOM OPEN for any one to walk in. When you let the door close on its own, it doesn’t latch. It has to be pulled closed. We knew this. How did the staff not. AND the couch still wasn’t cleaned. When I complained to the desk about the door issue the desk associate did offer sincere apologies and said she would leave a not for the mgr to call me. I did receive two calls from a manager but with my trips schedule I was unable to answer the phone. When I called back later in the day, ‘that mgr was gone’. The MOD sign was always the picture of the same GM who never seemed to be there when I was at the desk. They clearly just never changed the sign. And I have to say, as petty as this may be, one of those nights I complained i had grabbed a water from the market, I was expecting them to charge me for it but after receiving the invoice upon check out…it hit me…the least could have done was take the fricken water off my bill… I won’t ever stay here again.

Don't stay here! This is the worst hotel that I've stayed in! It is terrible. The room (room 605) was musty and had a mold/mildew smell. After staying in there one night, I requested a move to a new room. They were full so we had to wait one more night. When we moved to room 409, it wasn't as bad, but it still smelled musty like there had been water damage in this hotel and mold was growing in the walls and carpets. Our suitcases and clothes all had to be re-washed when we got home as the smell stayed in all our stuff. The green couches (which I see others have mentioned in the reviews) are terribly stained - in both rooms! That is so disgusting, and it's not Marriott standard that they would allow these dirty couches to be in the rooms. Housekeeping is terrible. They only clean every other day. That would be okay, but we had no extra towels and ran out of toilet paper and tissue. We had to go to the front desk three times for towels and supplies. Why don't they supply the room with plenty of everything and also offer backup trash liners if they aren't going to clean every day? It's just awful. It was hard to relax at this hotel. The staff is not that nice when you do ask for help. This hotel needs a whole renovation to remove the mold and mildew that is obviously growing in the rooms and to clean up the dirty couches. Also, employees could use training on how to treat the guests.

I was pleased with my stay. The room felt spacious, the a/c worked fine, everything was in good working order. The bed was comfortable. Most important: the room was very clean. The lobby area looked nice. Also although the hotel seemed very busy on the nite we were there, I didn't hear anything or anyone once we were in our room -- it was nice and quiet. I read some negatives in other reviews that I agree with: the stains on the green sofa in the room are yukky (Rm 410). Also the desk staff can be brusque - not rude - but the staff on duty early afternoon and late nite were not friendly . The morning staff when I checked out was friendlier. The late nite staff did immediately address my need for a working TV remote when I went to the desk. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, and will go back.

Everything was perfect, staff, room, breakfast, underneath parking (car wasn’t hot), porch overlooking pool, quiet, to many wonderful things to mention. This will be our go to hotel when in Charleston/Mount Pleasant area in the future.

Traveler beware! Our room had been cancelled when we arrived at 7pm after driving 10 hours. The extremely unprofessional clerk said they attempted contacting us but I have no record of a voice message, missed call, text or email. They also had no proof because they didn’t try to contact us. There are many reviews like mine so this is the norm for how the Marriott conducts business. The reviews above 3 stars for this so called establishment are obviously PAID reviews! We went to our vehicle and booked a 5 star hotel on the beach for a few more dollars. While looking for a place to stay that night in the parking lot we noticed the surrounding neighborhood was sketchy. The canceled reservation turned out to be a blessing… we loved our new place. We noticed the Pool was dirty while leaving this establishment. Everything about this Marriott location is ghetto including the staff. This Marriott is not like any other Marriott we have stayed in before. Very unprofessional!!

My wife and I just had a wonderful surprise. This is not our usual place to stay. It worked out for this trip and we are so glad it did. The staff are all helpful and pleasant. The breakfast is fresh warm and total variety. The rooms are very nice mattress is extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are up to date The tempurature gauge in the room actually works. Any issue (we had a tiny one with tv) they fixed within 5 minutes. In todays world this is marvelous Thank you Spring Hills Suites
