Charleville Motel

had an incredibly disappointing experience at this motel. From the start, things were off. The room was far from clean, with mould in the shower grout, dusty surfaces, and noticeable marks on the walls. Not exactly a welcoming environment. To make matters worse, we were constantly asked to move our car, despite there being no allocated parking spots. This was highly inconvenient and unnecessary. The treatment from the staff was shocking – we were rudely reprimanded for having visitors, despite the fact they were my children, simply there to help us prepare for a funeral. The receptionist was particularly unpleasant when I tried to clarify that we had two adults per room, not one as the booking system had incorrectly allocated. Before I could even explain that we also had two small children with us, I was grunted at and met with rude attitude. We were also scolded for a minor mess outside the room (just a few crumbs) while the children ate a quick snack. No actual rubbish was left behind, yet the reaction was completely over the top. Overall, the staff’s lack of empathy and poor service, coupled with the subpar cleanliness of the rooms, made our stay extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This is a reasonable motel. Clean with helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are a little small especially if there are more than 2 staying, beds are reasonably comfortable, parking is an issue if you have a van or 4x4 with roof racks, but there is parking just off the street but not inside the premises. Has laundry and BBQ area, 15 minutes to walk to town. Would recommend as a place to stay.

We had two nights in Charleville so pleased Kerry welcomed us at the last minute as we changed our plans from camping to give ourselves some luxury 😊 What a great stay we had, we were able to get all our washing done with there complimentary laundry facilities, our room was perfect …tea, coffee & biscuits! Great beds big TV located central to town. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you Kerry & Greg for making our stay special! Fire pit is a big hit! Had a great time!

We stayed in this motel for two night on the way to Windorah got stuck due to weather so came back two days later to the Charleville motel. so all up we stayed 4 nights. we really recommend this motel. The owners are so lovely friendly and so helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay really nice. The rooms were so clean and comfortable and really cozy and nice. we would stay here over and over again. The beds were so comfortable. We stayed on the two visits in two different rooms. The laundry is so handy and lots of hanging space for washing. you can get room service during the week and the food is delicious. one night i had the lamb shanks to die for. we recommend you see the Bilbys and go to the bakery and have a sausage roll the best ever. The Thai restaurant opposite the bakery was really good too. Thankyou for a wonderful stay and will be back.

Clean room with all facilities- kitchen sink, crockery and cutlery, microwave, dishwashing liquid and tea towel. Very comfortable and quiet. Friendly managers, would recommend a stay here. Close to park, supermarket, attractions and town.

This is a sad and tired motel that looks nothing like the pictures. Room did not appear clean, bath mat frayed and peeling roof plaster - it just looked like a motel that hasn’t had money spent on it in ages. Reception staff friendly. The price was a lot higher than others we had stayed in without the quality.
